I really enjoyed the mechanics and graphic art. Nice Job!

I would appreciate your feedback as well :D

Cool game! The puzzles were kinda hard, but they were fun!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

Good game! I really liked the levels and aesthetics of the game! Perhaps it would be worth adding more difficult levels, and besides, at first I did not notice that lives are limited and did not understand why I was dying.

Developer(+1)

Hey Deblue! I agree with you, I miss have more levels to play myself. I started the jam quite late and have only 20 hours to do it, that's why I couldn't explore more of the mechanic. And yes, the lives should be more visible, especially because of my choice of color for the Itch page, it makes it very hidden. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi! I've put together a list of my top games from the jam and before I post them on the community section, I'm just checking that you are okay having your game's link on the list?

Developer

Hey Orange Flag! Of course you can put the game on the list, no problem.

Really nice game, with great polish and nice sound effects (wish there was music, though :P). Only real (and fairly minor) complaint was lack of WASD support!

Developer

Thanks! The problem with WASD is that is terrible for other keyboard layouts, like France, Russia, and some other countries, the arrow keys are more universal. But I could add both of course.   will remember to do this in the next jam. Thanks for the feedback! :)

Oh dang this game is really aesthetic. Fun challenging levels! And everything just feels really well made. Wonderful wonderful game!

Edit: How about Snackrifice? haha or just Snakerifice?

Developer(+1)

Thanks NoonTimeDreamer! Your game is wonderful too, I like it a lot.

Submitted(+1)

Well done dude, this was fun and challenging :)

Submitted(+1)

Wow amazing, great game! A tutorial would help though.

Submitted(+1)

Very cool! Very well polished! Well done!

Submitted(+1)

Brilliant! I also immediately thought of Snakebird, funny that you seem to not know it. Well executed.

Developer

Thanks Kai! Yes, my thought process was more like, getting the classic Snake game, and in the process of trying to find a way to add "strategic death" to it, I stumbled in this mechanic :) I'm glad you liked the game!

Submitted(+1)

Everything about it was excellent, from the itch presentation page itself to the sound effects the snake made when it moved! Great job and really well done!

Developer(+1)

Thanks Bkush! I'm happy that you notice my effort to make the Itch page looks a bit cooler haha. Any artistic endeavor is always super challenging to me, but I try :)

Fantastic work! Gameplay is ultra-polished!

Developer

Thanks ClumsyDog I'm glad you liked it :)

Fantastic game! Some of the puzzles were real brain teasers!

I yet again have no real critique. The sound effects are very good and the graphics are pleasing to the eye. Some music could perhaps add to the atmosphere but I’m not sure.

Developer

Thanks, Demindiro!

I love the snakebird style movement and the puzzles are well made

Good Job!

Developer

Thanks MrMuff! I never played Snakebird but seems awesome! I will put it on my list of games to test.

Submitted(+1)

Great game! Some of the puzzles are capable of being surpassed without using the game mechanic (although idk if this is intentional). Apart from that, the visual art style and sounds feel so wiggly, it's great.

Developer

Thanks. Yes, you're right. I didn’t have time to make all levels perfect, I saw that on some levels this problem existed but I didn’t have time to fix it :) I'm glad you liked the game :)

Nice Game Absolutly brilliant :D

Developer

Thank you!

Obviously some things are missing like a level counter, but overall a very original puzzle! And yeah, the name sucks :)

Submitted(+1)

This is extremely well done! I straight up couldn't put this game down, these puzzles are really engaging and I like how simple the mechanics are and how complex the puzzles can get. A small nitpick I have is that I didn't know that the snakes lives were in the top right hand corner at first so I got confused when the level just randomly restarted, but like I said that's really a nitpick and not the biggest deal. Overall probably the best game I've played thus far, amazing job!

Developer(+1)

Hey, Starfishes! Wow, thanks for the kind words. I am very happy that you enjoyed the game.

I'm glad you noticed the simplicity of the mechanics and the depth of the gameplay, this is always my goal when I design games. I also appreciate the criticism. Thanks a lot!

Cute game! You should feel good about getting this al done in 3 days! Nice puzzles, great sound effects, and I like the screen effect you added as well. It all comes together for a polished game.

Developer

Thanks Source1012!
