Interesting idea, looks very nice. Maybe add more information about the upgrades for the turrets for example : 0.1 attack speed doesnt mean anything for the player take a different approach and show the progression 1 > 1.1 or give the percentage of increase !
Time is a bitch, but you can be proud of what you've done, good job !
I would never have thought of that. Thanks for the feedback.
Hey, another game where you lose, get stronger, and come back again! (Although I certainly prefer your implementation of it here - much more fun and interesting). It was an easy game to get the hang of, even without a tutorial, and the theme was well implemented too, so good job! The art was great too, and I loved the isometric style - made it feel really unique. Some small quality of life features, like seeing the range of a unit, seeing an enemy's hp, that sort of thing would've been nice, as well as some sounds too, although like you say you ran out of time for them, which is understandable considering the quality of everything else in the game. Really great game, very impressive!
I have definitely learned that with a 72 hour jam, you can run out of time very quickly. Thank you for playing and the detailed feedback.
This looks like a really polished game, it's amazing that you even have a shop system!
the game would have benefited greatly from audio but I understand you had no time left :D
great job!
Fun little game with a nice implementation of the theme. Adding some more enemies, defence mechanics, sprinkle some music and sounds on top and you would have the perfect game!
Great concept and nice pixel art! The only issue is the zero audio, just some music still would be increased the experience.
Nice work, I've enjoyed!
Thank you for playing my game. I wanted to do everything by myself and as i mentioned in the game page, i completely ran out of time to implement music. But i agree with you, music would be better.
Very solid game. I loved the art and the iso style. It was almost mesmerising once the unit counts started getting really high.
Would have been great to see some more unit variety, but overall very good.
Unit variety was originally planned. But sometimes you have to say goodbye to ideas, because otherwise there would be no more time. Thanks for the feedback though.
Oh boy, I feel that.
This game is very near perfect! All it need is some more of everything! I want moooooore!
Its so fun and addicting! Some more enemy types, towers, and of course sounds an music, and this could be sold on steam easily! Amazing job!
Please consider playing and rating my game if you can :)
Thanks, i had so much more ideas, but no time to implement them. I'm still thinking about developing the game further.
Good game!
I see poeple have already mentioned a fast forward button, I second that.
Also, would be cool to not go back to the menu and get the power ups. A tweek to how you gain them can be interesting.
Well done!
And i was thinking about to implement such a button, but there were other things that had a higher priority. Anyway, thank you very much for the feedback and playing my game!
Tower defense is a tried and testing formula. Your version was pretty compelling. Good job.
More polish obviously includes sound.
I second the idea to include a fast forward button because at some points it's boring to wait when you know what's gonna happen.
In terms of theme - it's a relatively common interpretation in this jam to have upgrades when you die. To have downgrades when you win does a little something something; it becomes an auto balancing mechanism. Pretty interesting! But ultimately the only effect is I imagine that it averages out the amount of time it takes people to play.
Thanks for playing and for this detailed feedback. It is my first game jam, so i never expected such great responses. Thank you.
Liked the game. The art looked great. It's unfortunate that you ran out of time to add music as I think it really could have added to the game.
I like this game! Great art and gameplay! Good job!
Please check my game as well ;)
Very good quality game for a jam, although it's too bad there's no sound/music :/ I love the art style and the upgrades when you die just make you wanna play more! Great work :)
Thank you! I completely run out of time, so i did it without sound.
What an awesome game! Nice Job! I had to force myself to stop playing lol. Good work on making it super replayable! Maybe a game you should continue on making?
This is one of the biggest compliment you can give to a game developer. I appreciate it, thank you.
Yeah, maybe i develop the game further, but i dont know yet. I just need to refactor the code... a lot.
Well, it was definitely well deserved! Yeah for reals, tell me about it all my game jam code is super hacky xD Best of luck with your future projects!
Nice game! The isometric view fits the game nicely and I like how the maps are randomized so each run is different. The towers sometimes would target enemies toward the back when one in the front was in range, so adding a target priority setting like in Bloons would be cool to see. Overall, a fun and simple game! Nice job!
Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately there are many abusive mechanics and bugs in the game. Maybe i make an update after the game jam is closed. Stay tuned.
this was fun to play. I wish there was a button to increase speed, but it was still interesting. Great job!
Thanks for the feedback. I had ideas for much more buffs and debuffs, but sadly i ran out of time.
These visuals are great. Lots of life in the animations. Also love the simplicity of the control scheme using only the mouse clicks.
I had a nice bit of fun playing this! I appreciate the variety of levels.
Awesome idea, love the tower defense theme!
I'd appreciate you checking out my game.
Good game, check it out!
