Thank you for the links! This is really helpful! And Happy New Year! See you in GameOff 2022!

Thank you for the comment! I'll definitely make more games!

I have rated 3 all-5-star games. But yours is simply the best! I like the doodle-like art style and the calming music. I like the design of levels and how it climaxed with a self-destruction. I like the theme interpretation  as 'bugs fix bugs'.  I like the little darkness about the dead rabbit and having to kill a pig. I like all the jokes. Very good game! Thanks for creating it.

Another all-5-star game !

My favorite  part is the 'ah' sound when flies ruins the pie.

2nd favorite part is the guy still enjoys the pie.

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to learn about game music. I'll just take the punch and get 0 star for Audio in the ratings this time. Btw, I just played yours and 5-star for your Audio lol.

Are those corona virus? I'm a big fan of Bloodborne. Your game's dark element is like Bloodborne's.  It reminds me of the cruelty in reality. I guess it's probably the Audio if you know what I mean lol.

Also, I wanted to add a complex immune system in my game and your game just did that. Good job!

Wow, I've rated some games now but I never thought that I would run into a game that I wish I made that. Your game is really something I wanted my game to be. If you play my game you would understand what I'm saying. Nice job!

I love your game! I gave all 5 stars except for 'Audio' because the music i made is ... just horrible. The game is innovative and it's philosophical. The music is somewhat a presentation of both the bugs and the 'decomposer'. I feel calm when playing it.

I think this game concept is definitely worth exploring more. Please make more!

thanks for your comment! it's very thorough analysis. I really appreciate it!

Thanks for playing! I will definitely work on those items. Especially I need to learn about game audio. Otherwise, like this time, it's simply 0 score for the audio. The theme interpretation is based on "a microorganism (such as a bacterium or virus) causing illness or disease" in the GameOff description.

Thanks. I'll test with that in the emulator next time.

Thanks for playing! May I ask whether you are playing it on your phone or what approximately is your screen size? This is an important data point for me and I will definitely try to fix this issue. Thanks!

I currently only have a Macbook so I tried out the Mac version only. It's actually the 1st game I played on Mac and it's worth it! I love the fast movement. It makes the gameplay very pleasant and the bugs look real this way. My game is also a 2D top down shooting survival game. But my game's movement is not as smooth as yours. So I definitely learned something now.

Good job and make more!

Haha, glad you liked it! The purple guy is c-difficile. It is really bad in reality so I made it quite crazy in the game.

This game is something I want to play and stream or at least show my friends. It's hilarious and fun. I gave 5 star for the crazy web in the background. Also, these are the cutest bugs :) Good job!

Cool game! Played and rated. Btw, I'll also do a rate for rate.

Oh no... the king...

Fun and funny. The graphics, especially the player movement, is very smooth. Audio added such an intense feeling and I'm always a fan for some suspension.  It's short but I think it's innovative. Just an idea, I think the conversation can add some 'dark hints' about the plot. :)

Thank you for the feedback! I definitely should add a joy stick control when played on mobile devices. Thanks for trying it out on the phone! This is something I overlooked.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I was hoping to add some 'stomachache' time that twists the gravity. But then the 'bug' you mentioned showed up and I decided to fix it later.... :]

Oh... beetles! Love the idea! I think this is fun and funny! Good job!

Simple but fun and addicting! Good job! I find staying on the slopes make it easier. :)

My game is also about shooting and being pushed around by bugs. So I echo your thoughts on not allowing the enemies to harm you directly but just block or push the player.

p.s. My WASD controls are frozen after a few reloads. I had to refresh the page.

Nice music and nice graphics. Your art reminds me of Hollow Knight! As for the gameplay, I find it simple and fun but I got stuck when I try to reach the crooked branch. Please help... :)

I think it takes some courage to interpret the 'bug' theme as the 'bug' in the computer science world. As an engineer myself, I think your game is not only fun but also romantic. Great work!

What a masterpiece! This is a game that I would actually purchase! What a unique way to interpret the theme! All 5 stars! just take those stars and make more please!

I thought I couldn't finish it but then I decided to stay up a few nights and pushed myself to finish. It was painful but I think it's worth it.

This reminds me of graph theory! :) The game is simple and fun. I like it very much and I was able to finish it.

Haha, I can only survive until when i see those flowers and then i drop in the pool lol

Your game reminded me of this wood labyrinth toy  So I know how addicting it can be. lol. And I like the jazz music! And playing the game on my cellphone wasn't something I expected. so that was cool. I kinda wish the bug had a bigger size? I was holding my phone up and didn't realize it's already there at the bottom. Other than that I think this is really a well-polished game! Good job!

Thank you so much! I think really need to start to learn game music. :)

This is the only all-5-star game in GameOff 2021 I've played and I'm not even joking. First of all, I love the Lo-fi vibe for the music. Graphics I was thinking 4 star in the beginning because I really find the cricket leg creepy. Somehow it reminds me of human legs. But I have to gave a 5 star about the underground world you've constructed. Gameplay was great for me because there's a certain suspension kept me playing ___"what's the world like above?" And I also will check out your code to see how you made it land on those stones. Now "theme interpretation" is what makes your game my favorite so far. It's so straight-forward and the controls are so simple. I think you really made me experienced the hardship of a bug's life. I've played some really polished games but didn't rate because I simply don't think they were created for this GameOff. So great job and please make more!

There's actually a leaderboard! I like the graphic and the music too. One small advice... can we make the clock automatically used if touching the red line?  i wasn't expecting it to explode... (maybe i should read the instruction). 🤦

Thanks for playing! Glad that you liked it. :)

Ah, another addictive game! I'm always a fan for survival games. I was challenging myself to survive a bit more longer. Then I kinda cracked it. I stay at the top and a little bit to the left and the bugs will always generate from the lower right side and my mouse just kept clicking it there.

I really want to learn your code to see how you implemented the movement. It's so mesmerizing and fun! Definitely a 5 star on the innovation!

Very smooth game play! It's a bit tricky but that's the fun part! My game has a similar idea. I even thought about a fighting system like yours. Good job!

Wow, your game is really a masterpiece! The graphics and the music are so good. And the game control is really innovative. How did you finish all these in one month?! amazing....

Thank you very much! I definitely learned a lot from this Game Off. And I'll keep building and I'll try add audio to my next game. lol

hahaha. The cuteness kept me laughing! pew... pew... more moth! I gave a 5 star for the audio!

Nice game and well-thought game level design!

The 2nd level is the hardest IMHO.

The music reminds me of 'Among US' .

The game's also quite addictive (in a good way)!
