Love the art style on this one as well as the take of the theme. The games feels polished on the visuals and UI but the gameplay are hard to control.  A simpler control would make this great. Well done!

Very cool concept! I like the music and the feel of the arena.

Like everyone mentioned, a crosshair would really help in contrast to the dark. A feedback on the enemy for each hit would help sell the impact player does. Really like this entry!

There was so much we wish we could add but integration was only done 10 hrs into the submission. The game as is unfinished

Regarding the direct hit issue, it was unfortunately a bug that only happens on the build version. We only noticed hours passed the submissions. We did fix it on different post from the submission (https://arcgamesstudio.itch.io/viator-direct-hit-can-damage

Thank you, really appreciate the feedback. You might be right on the black level boundaries, it did caused some confusion with the depth during play testing. Something to learn for future test ;)

Glad you enjoy it. Im trying to develop this core loop to a small 15 min game .
And yes, you successfully unlocked it. I havent added the animation yet for this prototype xD

For feedback:

Currently I'm confused on what to do. I take damage attacking and also in brothers form. I must have missed something on how to gain back the health.

Also, after dying so many time, allowing to skip the cut scene would be a good addition.

Oh, I did not test it enough on keyboard Im afraid. I didnt have time to polish it, which now I can see why I need more time to debug and run through the full game more than once. Thank you for playing!

You are right. unfortunately by the time I noticed the bug it was too late. Some of the bug was too specific to encounter. It is a learning to plan debugging way early. Thank you for playing!

Well done on this! This is a very unique art style so far with high saturations. Quite fitting with the electric theme you are going for. Using the platform to the game play makes the battle interesting.
Moves was also varied which caught me off guard for some for the rare moves as they hit like a truck lol

Few feedback I would say is

1)  since this is a very high saturation color, creating contrast for player and important attack anticipations would be difficult but necessary.

2) Control response is a bit slow, maybe make it more instant for player and longer recovery for effect

3) Damage might need to be balanced a bit, as it is currently too punishing. or alternatively gives a better tell of which attacks that will be coming.

Overall I enjoyed the fight!
