Agree with the other commenter, lag spikes are a big problem. Also I didn't get why everytime I dropped back to -500$, even if I got loads of money. Apart from that, this is a great concept, and a great execution! Great work!

Wow you got pretty far then! Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! With this game, we felt we needed to absolutely make sure players would understand the mechanics, even if it meant laying it out via text.

The third level is so difficult I think I died upwards of 100 times. Is it really that you're supposed to go left and then right? Anyway great game, though the premise has been done before

Great concept, and I found it fun to try to hide under the umbrellas. Cute art as well, just well done.

Nice work, I had fun! Thanks for only setting me back a few meters if I died, that spared me a lot of frustration. The sandcastle-cat combo is something I haven't seen very much before, so that's very unique

I gave 5 stars across the board! The idea of the same button doing something different depending on if you're heated or not is genius. The presentation was fantastic, the levels were well-designed. Feedback: please invest the time into making a jam thumbnail. This is very important if you want people to play your game. Also more levels but that's already been said. Well done

Fun game, but only for a couple minutes. Still, I managed to get a score of 620. Ice cubes looked impressive though! Bit of feedback: I recommend working on the look of the UI. Good-looking UI can go a long way :)

Great game, with fantastic visuals. The cutscenes and camera angles were impressive and fun, and the amount of content is just right.

Thanks for playing! The controls are difficult indeed, so I'm glad you stayed around till you got them. The restart button is escape btw

As the composer for the game this is all I need to hear to have a fantastic day! Thank you so much!

Thanks for playing, and thank you for the comments about the map and music, those took a long time to make so I'm glad you enjoyed them. Have a nice day too btw :)

Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! The horse is difficult to control on purpose, so good job getting used to it! Also thanks for noticing music and sounds, I put a lot of effort into that

Ah! You again! Wasn't expecting another soul in this wasteland

Thanks so much for playing

There's only enough room in this jam for one western themed game, pardner...

All jokes aside, great game, I had fun!

Great game! The adaptive music when you press C is absolutely amazing

Thank you so much for playing, and all the nice words. We're certainly very pleased with the game, but this is seriously so nice of you. As the composer for this game, you just made my day!

Thank you! Maybe it's the constant concussions that keep the horse from being controllable.

I can see the resemblance haha, sonic seems to have the same medical condition as the horse!

Yep, I have never drunk while driving a horse, mostly due to never having driven a horse, and having seen what can be the result, I'm not planning to either. Thank you so much for playing!

Wow thanks so much, sounds like you had an awesome time!

That's nearly impossible, though...

Thanks for playing!

The way we came up with the idea was to just list all the actions that exist in racing games: so speeding up, braking, steering, using items. We ended up combining braking and using items (shooting), because we felt that that would be the most interesting. Maybe you're right though, shooting to speed up sounds fun as well. Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for the feedback. It's always difficult to balance music and sounds so we may incorporate a slider in the next game as you suggested

Thanks! This is our first jam game where we actually weren't in a rush to finish it so we had time to fix any problems we had

Thanks a lot! The horse is very silly indeed!

Great game! The art is obviously amazing, the gameplay and adherance to the limitation are well executed. Just very well made! The only problem I have with the game is that it took me too long to figure out you had to use WASD to move the guys. This is because everything made it seem like it was gonna be one of those games where you set everything up and then let the game run automatically.

The game is fun to play, the visuals are nice, connection to theme and limitation are there, so a pretty well-rounded game. Good job!

I think this game is held back massively by a couple of things:

-The explanation at the start is hard to understand, so a louder volume or subtitles would've helped. Now I don't know what I'm doing.

-It took me a while to figure out you had to go to the left, which could be due to the first point.

-I don't know how to attack.

-When I respawn, I'm unable to move.

This is a shame because it seems like a cool game.

I have to agree with the other comment. The game lacks a bit of depth. Which you could easily add later, so no big problem!

Fun concept, but I don't really see any connection to the limitation. Also could've used some sound.

This has to be the most underrated game so far. Very good level design, great concept, fantastic music that I understand you made yourself with BeepBox. The bossfight brought back all the elements from the level before it. I'm very surprised this hasn't got any ratings before me.

Great concept, but as other people have said the gameplay ends up just being trial and error. The system for bending and checking if a bend is possible is impressive though!

Cool concept, though I found myself getting bored after a while. The concept itself is what I most enjoyed, just a robot in a golfball was able to hook me in. The music fitted really well, and the art was great.

The game was fun to play around with, however there wasn't very much to do. It's possible you didn't have enough time to add anything to battle or other obstacles, but that's still something that's missing in my opinion.

This is a really fun game, looks amazing, sounds amazing as well and solid use of the theme. I found myself playing this for quite a while. Balancing is great, love that there are foods that spawn on the right so you need turrets on the right to deal with them. No bugs that I noticed, just great really. Maybe something could've appeared that would have changed things up halfway through, idk.

This is a really interesting concept, the control scheme is seriously unique and cool. You mentioned the asteroids harming the star, but I see no way of preventing that from happening. I also don't really see a connection to the theme of the jam. But I did enjoy just flying around the star and using gravity!

By the way, I recommend paying a little more attention to the jam thumbnail of your game. An inviting thumbnail can go a long way.

Fun game to play, although I didn't really get how to play at first, so a tutorial or a bit of text explaining would have helped a lot. This can be tough to implement, so I don't blame you.

I don't know if it was intentional, but for me what really works is that the fun beach music fades out after a while and all you hear is the death and destruction you have caused in the form of the turret sounds. It sort of brings it into a different perspective that's really cool.
