Such a great concept! I love this idea of figuring out the rules by yourself, it's a very smart game. I got stuck at the fifth level, but as soon as I have some time I will try to complete it. This game deserves more ratings.

Very good all around, from the clever use of the asset to the puzzles, even the sound design is really curated. Also, by watching your devlog I'm glad I'm not the only one making games while listening to Death Grips, ahahah. Great job!

A great concept for a puzzle game!

I took me some time to get into it, but then I was hooked! This is a very original game and a pretty strong basis for a commercial game. I hope you'll take this concept even further!

the game is good but i am just bad  :D

This is great. The interface is well done and interactions are smooth. The writing is cute and not intrusive. I used to play a physical version of this game called Zendo and loved it but haven't played for a long while.

Developer

Zendo was one of my inspirations actually!

I can't wait to add a procedural level generation feature so that I basically can play singleplayer Zendo! I never had someone to play it with!

This does seem like it would lend itself well to procedural generation. I barely had people to play Zendo with either, though some of my friends were occasionally willing  I was the only one that actually liked it so it fell by the wayside.

This is certainly the hardest puzzler I've played all jam. The smoothness to the mouse was a super delicate and nice touch. My suggestion to anyone who wants to play this game.

Really fun game! There's a fantastic attention to detail in the UI. I love all the little touches and its fun to fidget with while bashing my head against tricky puzzles. It's definitely not for everyone, but I personally really like the trial and error style of puzzle solving.

Excellently crafted. My only major gripe is that the process of figuring out the rules per ritual is pretty tedious, but that's science for you. I suppose the pass/fail windows on either side could have been made to accommodate more visible (without scroll) patterns since you're almost always going to exceed their size, but that's more a limitation of the art kit than anything else.

Ok, this is a gem of an entry. I'm apparently too dumb to get the puzzles though. I was doing so well in level 0 but I didn't get anything that was going on in level 1 .. maybe start slower?

I loved the animations, the look and feel. Excellent use of this asset pack and it all felt so very satisfying and polished. Textbox and animations there were grade A!

Thought this was excellent. The writing is good, especially the way it is accented with animations etc. The overall level of finish is really good. The choice of sprites and general presentation is really clean - a good thing in a game that requires brains in place of action. SFX and little things like the way sprites are dropped are also very nice. Well done!

Wow I really enjoyed this. Figuring out the rules of the levels was very satisfying, the writing made me chuckle a few times, the little touches like the skull surrounded by cheese were funny and the way the text was animated made it fun to read. Maybe add answers automatically to their respective boards to make pattern recognition easier? Great job.

Damn really fun, gonna go back to finnish this game, you should totally make it into a full game!

I couldn't finish the game but even though puzzles are not really my thing, your game was so engaging to me.
I love the through tutorial, it helped a lot but there could be a little more explanation about how patterns are, maybe some more examples.

Great job! If I were you I would work on the game more and release it on google play, it could become pretty successful.

Really fun and interesting puzzles, some puzzles were much harder to figure out than others but all of them were fun to play through!

Great puzzle game! Love the concept. I think you could definitely make a mobile game out of something like this, if it add a lot of simple levels to get players into it. Good job!

Cool graphics and neat sound effects. Interesting concept too. Only problem I had was that I'm so bad at puzzle games so it was a bit too hard for me. Seeing the other comments that might really just be me though. But I've tried for longer than I would have thought so it got me kinda hooked. Really glad you added a tutorial :) Good job!

It is a very cool idea and the code breaking aspect is quite fun to play around with and try to work out. Nice job!

Cool idea. I found it quite hard; but I like the concept and feel.

A really interesting game, well done! It reminds me of the logic puzzles of The Witness; where the player must discern the rules of the board via small embed clues and experimentation.
