I pressed the 'any button' and nothing habbened :c I want to get off Mr Bones wild ride...
Kidding ofc, you have a really cool style for this game! I only managed to get right arm customizables for the MC, but it was still an awesome concept to have that. The pay the price mec fits perfectly as well. Slight bugs and imperfections aside, I really dig the game. Brought me back to playing the classic Simpsons arcade cabinet as a kid :)

Asteroids with juice, I dig it! :)

Fun little concept! Definitely payed the price x)
Chill little counting game, keep it up!
The pause button in game on the firefox browser seems to just stop all gameplay without being able to get back into the game with a play button or something, just a heads up.

Ofc! Kinda hard to juggle bugs like that in a 10 day window, so I totally feel for ya. I'll have to try it on controller next time :p

Solid concept! The controls threw me in a loop for a bit, but I figured it out eventually :) Would love to see some extra juice added to this game like weapon upgrades, music and sound effects, multiplier score, boosted death animations, and stuff like that! Could really bring a crazy intensity to the game! :)

Well put together platformer! Everything fit the aesthetic, and that slowdown timer for attacks is great fun to get a good timed feeling! Could use a lot more juice with attack moves, death animations, and parrying or some sort of counter and would like to see some more variety in the enemies but I like the direction it's headed!

I played this on browser and when I tried to do the key combinations to jump with a projection it required me to press "ctrl" + "D" which bookmarks the tab and pauses the game x)
Still a fun tho. Really love how it pushes you forward like a true metroidvania at a satisfying pace!

Fun lil rollin time! I did manage to break the game initially by going backwards and combining the sleeping world with the living, so maybe a wall visible or not to the far left of the screen would help :p dialogue is hilarious too, good work!

Fun smol game with some good speed juice goin on! As an audio guy, I'd recommend using sound effects from freesound.org with the CC0 or creative commons 0 attribute. You don't need to credit anybody, basically public domain open source audio you can use for anything so ya don't have to rely on mouth sounds alone :p might add some juicy details to the audio portion to match the visuals :) Would also like to see a distance tracker added, could bring some more goals and dopamine to the game~

Absolutely great original concept for a game! Solid aesthetic, everything works together, easy to get used to, and a funny little dark story to accompany. Juicy as hell too! I did have some issues where the music would desync with the hits when you die, so it was harder to pick up that slack, but that might just be part of the gameplay at that point, like dying in hotline miami and getting less of a rhythm of the room, but still being able to pull it off. Though HM doesn't require you to hit your steps to the beat x) great game overall tho, real impressed!

Real slick game, really like the incorporation of "pay the price". Spot on! Would love to see a bit more variation in the sound effects, but hey, that old school glass game shatter was cheeky enough to bring me back x)

Thanks for the feedback! We're definitely going to look into having default differing controller and keyboard settings in the future. Really wasn't a problem we've encountered before, tho the ASDF layout and controls are new territory for us x.x

Thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed it regardless of keyboard! Seems we really need to get some customization in that department down x) As for the art, a little help from Stable Diffusion went a long way for this one :p Definitely was still really challenging, but helped a lot with that 10 day benchmark

Nice! Hope it was more enjoyable this time! ^^

Thanks for the feedback! We had some issues with the audio clipping in the web version and got it mostly resolved, but we added a slider in the bottom right corner of the main level select screen. If you want to really blast it, try sliding that puppy all the way to the right before selecting a song :)

Combos were great, visual style was well combined, and the sound effects were very fitting.
Could use a bit more variety though with the gameplay

Wish the visuals and music/sfx would kick in earlier, but I guess that's a part of the game structure lol
Might just not be a fan of idle clickers, seems too uninvolved for me. When it did kick in, I loved the juicy effects tho :) very clean production~

The juice really makes this game pop with all the bright colours and jumpy animations! Wish the background music was something a bit longer than an 8 bar loop of really high register tunes. It gets kind of grading on the ears quick lol
Great game tho, feels nice!

Fun game overall! There's a few bugs like the plungers going down forever so you can lose your ball into the void on the second level, but it has a lot of juice regardless! Can't go wrong with some pinball! :)

Definitely has some potential, A bit more smooth transitions with the music and gameplay, and I could see a fun little beatmash shootemup!

Real fun game! Could use more juicy sound effects and music to go with the amazing visuals, but besides that, an absolute succulent blast!

The dance moves are the best lol Great overall game, style, feel, and form are all there! The little guys responding to clicks on them is a wonderful addition as well

Thanks for the review! Apologies for the frustration, the game is a bit intense lol. We did set up capabilities to turn off the tutorial if it's distracting from the home page. Just uncheck the "Tutorial" box underneath the Dopamine album art :)

Hahah fair :p

Dialogue is great and brings solid personality to each character, gameplay is straightforward so you don't get stuck easy and feels nice with good invisible walls to not box yourself in, aesthetic and art is on point for the jam, overall a comfi play~
Would be better if I worked on the audio for ya, but still a great game ;)

Thanks for the review! The swimming element is a bit different for this game. If you're doing the "Dolphin Dive" move by holding shift, don't hold any other keys besides to steer left, right, up and down with the arrow keys. If you start at a neutral state and hold shift and nothing else, you'll just start going forward not thrust upward. I know when I first started using those controls I kept pressing up to go forward while dolphin diving so I just kept hitting the floor until I realized what I was doing. We should probably find a way to describe the swimming mechanics better somewhere early in game lol

Insanely Juicy, myguy. Feels great, looks great, tastes great :o

I like the art style and idea for the game. Controls are a bit unforgiving and don't go through at times, but this could be a really cool mobile game patched up

Thanks for the spam!
Game was really easy to get used to, did feel like the randomness of the bread and spam generated made it impossible to beat a level at times, but still pretty addicting and enjoyable

Art style and music was really nice. Love the overall aesthetic and how it matched.
The controls could use a bit of work. Felt really slippery jumping and running around, and would prefer space to be jump rather than the up arrow key.
Overall, really liked the style tho, keep it up!

Really dope stuff! would like to see it reimagined with a composer perspective, with an orchestra and in a world landscape with different environmental factors to play with for each level; and the option to delete objects in the scene

One main flaw is how easy it is to redline and audio clip one beat by piling up every creation on it. could be easily resolved with a compressor and a brickwall limiter. Rip headphone users.

Otherwise, absolutely love the concept

thanks for letting me fall to my death <3 I love it!
great physics and aesthetic for the room you built

two quick notes: make a menu to quit out so I don't have to ctrl alt delete out, or give a controller menu to know what I can do at the beginning, and lower the mouse sensitivity as joll05 recommended
