Very juicy! I love that there is a bit of randomness in the angle/direction of the shots.

really like the sucking vacuum effect that happens when hoilding down the right mouse button, it adds to the experience a LOT

overall, well done!

Really lovely animation and that jump is so juicy!!!! I liked these style for a game jam! Nice job m8!

Enjoyed the juice!  I love the right click mechanic and the idea of swapping guns by reloading add some interesting strategy.  The movement felt a bit weird to me (subjective of course).  Otherwise, really neat game!

Well now this is a good use of juice! It's really fun and the music is great. I hope to see more of it in the future :)

Really like the juice of the game. With a lot going on the screen to can be easy to fall into the trap of making it too much, but I think you avoided that and did really well here!

Great entry!

The game is very fun ! Nice feedback and juice effect. Change between shoot mode is a pleasure and even there are lot of particles they don't bother you. I love it !

What an awesome entry. There's so much juice squeezed into this game, its visually stunning and very polished. I loved the mechanic of loading my gun with different juice to produce varied and unique bullet patterns. Great concept and you really nailed the juice.

Some instructions would have been cool, I was flailing a bit until I got an idea of what was going on.

The VFX were very good! Once I figured out what to do, it was pretty fun. Good job!

Good feeling in-game, it is very juicy and it has enough difficulty to make the game interesting. Good job!

I think I am dying. But that's okay, BMO always bounces back!

Lovely looking game. The juice is strong with this one. Seriously, any game where the start button has some fun vfx - you know it's going to be good.  Once I got the controls working, it was super fun, with explosions splattering the level - nice one!

Real fun game! Could use more juicy sound effects and music to go with the amazing visuals, but besides that, an absolute succulent blast!

There's some really interesting content here.

  • The technical implementation of the visual effects is top notch. Juicy to the max and high quality across the board.
  • The enemy designs are versatile and fun and provide fun combat.
  • The vortex juicing up looks really cool, but doesn't feel particularly coherent with the rest of the gameplay.
  • If I understood correctly, you can collect different juice sequences to build up your weapons in order, then press [R] to trigger the next juice if you want to change early. There's an interesting core concept here, but may need some exploration to polish the experience. I never felt I was planning my weapon usage, just "pressing R" to get whatever was available.

Overall, this is an awesome piece so thanks for making it!

The visuals and vortex effect are exccelent but I still can't understand what is the point of draging the particles around.

Developer

Since the juice particles are used to reload the gun and can also replenish health quickly, but usually appear inside the mob of enemies, dragging them towards the character manually allows to heal and restock more safely. Frankly, the mechanic is not as deep as it might've been
