We intend to continue working on this project, maybe turn it into full steam release. You can follow us in Twitter X, it's empty for now, but we will definitely post some devlogs there, including that mechanic

Thank you for playing! Idea behind door masking is pretty simple. As I mentioned in one of the jam submission comments - feature that is used here called "Stencil buffer". It's not unity exclusive,  but exists in pretty much all rendering apis. Main idea is straightforward, but it took some time to figure out a way to make the effect work as it should have

Here's our socials, not much there for now, but soon there'll be some action going on!

The game has a vibe of a "prototype", rather than a complete game, but I guess it's still fun to those, who enjoy atmospheric horrors. It felt like P.T. in some parts of it, especially in coridor, but that's only my perspective, I believe.

It'll look even better after you get some time to finish and polish it. But for now, great job on the progress!

It's a very fun experience! Actually a unique game in comparison to other jam games.

Maybe a bit of difficulty adjustments could be good to be implemented into the game (for noobs like me xD)!

It's definitely not a bad project, however, please, work on your introduction to the game! A player should be welcomed when he opens a game and the first level and not puzzled like most of commentators here. It will be a great project once this issue is resolved, don't stop there!!

It is astonishing! The game looks amazing, plays very fast and lacks of boring parts! Some of the riddles startled me a bit, but then I thought to myself "think like someone who leaves in a dungeon and hates humans..." and I solved it in a moment!

Jokes aside, great job on this one, guys! I hope your porject will get the recognition it deserves!

One of the few games from this jam that gave me shivers! It's really intense after 3rd night and has first "The Forest" vibes to me because of the whole "survive in a cabin" experience. Great job on the music too!

Yes, this is a bug. some players encounter it. we do not yet understand what caused it. after the jam is over, we will definitely fix it. Thanks for the feedback!!!

I'm shaking hands, colleague. In our game, apparently the player got lost behind the door he built in this one.
I relaxed while I was playing your game, maybe I should go work with a tree in real life.

Good idea to mix classic game with doors

Good elaboration of the details, I can separately highlight the display of health. Cool shaders and effects. It is disappointing that the topic has not been disclosed

I liked the close interaction of the gameplay with the tutorial. Puzzles are very creative at all. You can see that you don't have enough experience in graphics, but in general everything is in the same style, it's cool. It's a small job, but a decent one.

The game is fun to play but not very tactile at first. Didn't feel the distance where I am safe from dark spirits and where I can start charging to hit: I would add a "run" button to have a better control of arena and space between you and enemies. But still a great game, good job!

Very calming and charming gameplay, cute designs and lovely characters! Erica was so adorable! Hope you'll try to go deeper with mechanics of "reading people" to make door assembly more interesting and puzzle-like in future!

Loved the progress from test runs you'd posted at Discrod and what the game has come to!

Design is pretty good, I personally love cel-shading graphics and this one is a good example for sure!

Very intriguing and the story is almost mysterious on some level. Great emotion driven adventure! Hope you'll find ways to make gameplay as interesting, as the story is! Keep up the great work!

The art is on point! It's also fun and gameplay is not very deep but it's still entertaining and engaging! Great job on this project!

A pleasant drawing style.

The voice acting of the presenter is on top.

The puzzle is interestingly implemented)

I didn't really understand if the doors were different 🙃

The idea is not new, but the game turned out to be nice.

The doors fit in well, I liked the implementation of the choice.

I would like more epicness and carnage))))

Very beautiful. And it doesn't lag so much for 3d))

You don't always have time to see what's hiding behind the door, but you really want

to!.. Where did the gun come from in such antiquity?

The game is really very difficult, you don't know all the possibilities, so the strategy is 0 for the first time. And it's attractive because of this. I would like to go a little further)))

Atmospheric, the monsters are very beautiful)

Great game! Very nice audio and atmosphere, shooting felt juicy and satisfying.
I liked the idea of tracking targets based solely on their descriptions, but noticed that all targets look like baddies. After that the game lost some of its puzzle elements and became more of a timing fps. But in ganeral it feels completed and very polished, Good job!

Very beautiful visuals and animations! I love the idea that you can see other fountains from different planes. Evil spirit however felt quite frustrating, I was not able to dodge him especially on a narrow platforms

Really beatiful card game, so we fall in love with art

Ugh, I broke my brains trying to fit all this furniture together! Very nice game, difficult, but very engaging! Rotations are unintuitive though, maybe also utilize Q and E for them?

Very pretty game! I love the visual style and models used, everything is playing nicley on the games atmosphere. I can see how it coud be made into a solid horror. Although camera rotation feels a little bit unresponsive

Very nice game, I very liked the art stile and atmosphere. Gameplay is perfect for mobile and with a little bit of polish this could be a full blown release! One minus - controls are somewhat challengin, it's hard to rotate a key around view direction axis

Thank you for playing :)

Thank you so much for kind words! We are very glad you loved it! This comment made our morale shoot to the sky, you definitely made our day :D

(1 edit)

Probubly the cutest game I've seen in this game jam! Artstyle is very unique and adds a lot to the games apeal. Puzzle design is very solid and  could work in some full blown steam release! But the game dosen't  fit for the theme very well though

Very cute game! I love the animations and overall atmosphere. Little sound that plays when foxes are near also add to the games charm. I spent quite a lot of time trying to solve that maze

When I first opened it, I was amazed! I loved the story, and the idea was really fresh too!

The game is simple, but yet pretty fun, I really enjoyed it. Visual style is сute and while simple. it works very well! But final part with monster is a little bit unintuitive though

Nice game, pretty engaging! I like your interptitation of theme

Thank you for your feedback! Yes, we also found this bug, but only after the submission time finished :(

Thank you! That mechanic took some time, but we managed to finish it after all

Thank you for feedback! Yes there are quite a few ways to softlock yourself, we might have missed some of them :) We will look into it after the jam is finished
