Thanks! Yeah, that was a funny point of concern. At one point we intended to make it more obvious that you needed to save money. Originally your health pool was also money so there was a different push-pull dynamic to keep from spending it all. Thanks for playing!

Yes! There were ideas for a game where this was "level 1" with a zoom out to a higher level. Unfortunately we didn't go fast enough and decided we'd rather have something that functioned than a large scoped game that was busted. Thanks for playing!

Thanks! We originally envisioned a substantially more expansive game that incorporated the theme (we wanted to zoom out and make individual levels "tile" in a super level/meta sense) but up against the clock those elements turned out to be much more development effort and we instead debugged issues with the base game until it was playable. Thanks for playing!

This feels like it just gets better the more you practice! I didn't realize my scaling was limited and it came back to bite me after I spent the first 5 minutes scaling everything down to regular tetris XD

Great idea, struggled to get an exact sense of how to solve in a way that feels like I'm being clever but I think it's doable with some practice.

Very clever use of your past self in the puzzles! Really enjoyed this one

Controls feel really good even though they also feel swingy. The music is solid as well, along with the pixel-y animals

I am so bad at this game but I find myself wanting to improve :D

I really like the music, the animations are quite cute. I never played with Tamagotchi so I do feel like I miss a bit of the experience but this was fun

Good music, fun puzzles with the existing mechanics. Nice theming!

Thanks a lot for checking it out and trying all the levels! You nailed it, we intended to have 3 or 4 phases and to stitch some of the mechanics across them but we initially split the work so each person was in charge of a phase and the nice integration between them didn't really make it in.

Thanks for playing, so many ideas for visuals that didn't make it in this time :)

Fun idea, trackpad made this much harder than I expected XD.

The music and art in this game are excellent. Low key vibes, relaxing game. The map was so detailed. Had a fun time!

Thanks a lot! We had a bit too much ambition to get an ending finished :)

Simple but amusing. Seems like it would be great as a mobile game. Good use of the theme

Solid concept, I like the pixel style. I imagined something similar about 36 hours into the jam and was kicking myself because I think there's a very fun game here with some fleshing out.

This game is SO good. Probably the most creative use of the theme I've seen. 15 stars for 15 levels

This blasted chicken is tough to kill but at least I can infinitely force it back to the green depending on the arrow layout. It would benefit a lot from something forcing the chicken forward. This is fantastic for the time spent though. And generally fun

Holy cow, this was excellent. Took me time to figure out that I was only taking damage from the red dots because I'm the reticle XD. Super fun, fps mixed with bullet hell dodging ; never seen that before. And the physics are pretty good.

Cool idea, I like modifying the knight buffs as a game mechanic. Had some trouble figuring out exactly what I was doing at the beginning, the enemies come fast and the buffs appear and disappear quickly. Got into a groove for a bit once I got a massive dodge percent though. Great fun till the crash, MY KNIGHT!

Excellent idea for how to incorporate the reversal for a plaformer, this is a great mvp for a much bigger game if you keep going.

Good controls, feels like the difficulty is tuned pretty well to be tough but not impossible

Haven't reached the end yet (trackpad and noobishness) but this game could go to a full release depending on the length and mechanic additions. The core gameplay is excellent and among the best I've seen this jam.

Surprisingly tough on trackpad. Good evolution of mechanic/difficulty as well. Nicely done

Cool start, would like to see some of the powers a bit more fleshed out. The animation for the meteors is legit.

The art is SO good. I got quite a laugh from the lost reputation

Simple but a good start!

Solid jokes at the beginning! Love the art style too!

Fun tower-defense ish game! I haven't explored all the traps yet but the crushers is sweet

Really solid, would love to see some rewards pop up for the fox! Baiting the snakes to collide is super fun

Fun first phase! Took me a few tries to figure it out

This feels a lot like the addictive mobile games of the early 2010s, super fun!
