Thanks, I had a really fun toying with the idea. It all ended up coming together really well. Thanks for checking it out and leaving me feedback!

I mean it was a technically working solution for sure, so I understand it. The joys of jam deadlines, sometimes not everything makes the cut in time! Overall it was a great jam entry, nice work!

Very nice, I’ll be sure to go back and check it out!

I appreciate the feedback! Great sentiments here, I agree with it being a bit of a sink or swim start, could have done a better job introducing the mechanics to the player and provide more direction. Thanks for checking it out, I’m excited to see where the project goes!

Thanks for the in depth feedback! I agree it could have had a better goal and pace, I originally planned a boss fight, though time went elsewhere. I did like that it captured some of the early feelings of Minecraft in that it was more sandbox than adventure. As I continue the project, I think it’ll lean more into the adventure side, but I want to retain some of that sandbox feel!

Yea, saving was on the feature list that I didn’t quite make it to sadly. I’ll be adding more features post jam, including saving and balancing. There isn’t currently a win condition, just a feeling of “I’ve done what I want to do.” :P

Thanks for the feedback Robert. I was hoping to balance out the spawns a bit, had a fix for it that actually became a critical bug, so I had to revert last minute. I’ll be working to improve this post jam.

Ah that makes sense, explains why I wasn’t able to go much further.

The art was great, the platforming was great, the concept was well done. I had a hard time with the controls though, double jump was a bit difficult to land, and the actual forging portion kept bugging out and I couldn’t complete a single one, so sadly I was unable to progress. Would love to have seen more of the bullet hell stuff ironed out!

Love the ambiance of the game, had a great feel all the way through. The combat could have used a bit more juice to really give that boomer shooter feel, some enemy reaction would have felt nice. The sensitivity made me sick at first, really had be careful not to move the mouse much. Nice variety of levels and enemies. Was a fun little experience start to finish. Nice job!

The game was nice visually, but the gameplay was punishing. I had a hard time with the combat. Melee was difficult due to the hitboxes, and the ranged option really was lacking power, I got overwhelmed quickly and didn’t get a chance to get far. I really like the upgrade system requiring a sequence of inputs to succeed! I liked the 2.5 perspective, it looked very nice.

Nice little platformer, the level layout was great. I had a hard time with the slippery movement, as i’d slide off platforms over and over, but I stayed determined. I got all 4 pieces and completed it. It would have been great to progress through a few levels with increasing difficulty, but overall this was well done. The art was simple and well done. Missing audio, which would have improved this. Nice job overall!

Thanks for the feedback Pete! I would have liked to have exported a more compatible Mac specific build (I have an M1 silicon I need to experiment with exports). Yea, a better user onboarding was on my list, but I ran out of time before I could iron that out. There are some other balancing issues that exist too that would have benefited from more time and polish! Thanks for playing!

My Golem defeated the Dragon! Nicely done. I love this style of progress, the gameplay loop felt good, and the different upgrades felt nice. Hard to rate the art since it didn’t have a bunch, the icons were pretty simple, but went well with the rest of the feel of the game. Overall I had fun, which is an important aspect of a game. Nice Job!

I like the deformation approach to the ingot! The timing goes quick, and the shapes are a bit unforgiving, but overall I like the concept. I really loved the smashing the game over screen at the end! Nice touch. Well done!

I loved the different take on Forge. Very well done. The ability to make my own art, including the sculptures was great! The camera control in first person kept bugging me out, but otherwise the controls were smooth and simple. There was a good amount of polish to things like the menu, career stats, and overall Game completion. Nice job!

Welp, I’m all clicked out. Beat it then kept going for a minute. Clicker genre is such a fun one, I love these types of games. The music and sfx went really well with the theme. Art was great! Nicely done overall.

Smooth drill control, didn’t feel too jittery. The gameloop was pretty simple, so the game didn’t last long, built the bare minimum and game ended quickly. Could have used some audio to spruce it up a bit more. Nice work.

Loved the chunky pixel art style. The 3rd level felt impossible. I had hard time getting to all the needs, sure enough I would be busted not cleaning up a spill. I loved the mechanics between each system, very well done! Mini games were fun and the concept came together well. Nice job!

Yea, I understand how hard it can be with limited time. I wish my crafting menu had more features as well. I tried to provide context to the user in my crafting interface, but it can be difficult, especially in such limited time!

Nice sim type game, little different for the genre, but worked well. Few bugs with pathfinding, but other than that was a fun little experience. Nice job!

The graphics were fun and simple, I liked that they came together well. It took a minute to get my vehicle built, but once I did I had fun drifting around in it. When I built my second vehicle, I couldn’t destroy my old one until I came back a few times and tried again, which sucked for getting all the modules tested. Overall it was a fun game! Nice work.

I got over 1000 on level one, didn’t dare try doing level 2 solo haha. The gameplay was smooth, it was easy to get into a system, thanks to the ability to put stuff onto a table and reorganize how I wanted to get into that flow state. I was mindlessly going and it was until I started overthinking that I messed myself up, otherwise I probably could have gone indefinitely. Very well done!

This gave me retro game feels, something I would play at an arcade or back in the day. Controls were a bit loose, felt a bit floaty and ended up taking damage when I shouldn’t have. The game was simple and made for a quick play through. Nice job!

The art was fun and well done for this, I also enjoyed the sfx. I had a bit of a hard time with the controls, and the figuring out the menu as mouse button didn’t do anything. Once I figured out the controls I was able to make progress, but it took some time to get it sorted. Once you know how to play, it’s a pretty straight forward approach. A bit difficult to keep the customers all happy, I may have been stabbed a time or 2. Overall nice job, with a bit of polish around helping players learn the game, this is a good little project.

It may have been the fact that some of the popups for showing which items combined, but they were buttons that seemed to be hovered and could be clicked on, but didn’t do anything. Also, as mentioned I would end up with tools crafted on the floor, but sometimes I couldn’t interact or pick them back up. The bugs mostly stemmed around the crafting and item interaction for me.

Really well done gameplay loop, I liked buying modules and improving on what I could craft. I love the visuals, the styles was great! I know the feeling well of not getting audio in as I’m too focused on gameplay, but this could have benefited from even simple sounds. I wish Pat’s shop could be summoned whenever, or was more frequent. Mixed with RNG and the delay, it took forever to get the modules to make other items, as I would only get tier 1 modules for sale, and it took me a minute to realize how to buy, as I clicked DONE and lost out on about 4 or 5 shop opportunities haha. Overall very nice project, would love to see it taken further!

I liked the artwork. Isometric view is always a challenge, so nice job putting that all together. I felt kind of a spleef feel, but didn’t really feel threat as I could just walk over the lava pits, and the hounds didn’t seem to do any damage. Ended up getting stuck in an area where I couldn’t move and they couldn’t reach me. Would love to see how you take this further!

I loved the originality in the design choice here. Love the whiteboard graphics! The take on the them was different than others so far, really enjoyed this one. I spent a ton of time trying to maximize my grid, overall it was fun and with some polish I’d likely play more of it!

Nice job!

Does breaking stone also crash the browser? Does your system have a dedicated graphics card?

Simple yet well done! I love the art style, the gameplay is simple yet fun, little juicing and polish really carries this a long way. Nice job!

Visuals were very well done. I would love to see this ironed out a bit more, I had quite a few bugs, between the trash not working, coal wouldn’t spawn so I couldn’t craft most the time, and some weird bugs with the customers either not going away, or just not being able to give them their items. Nice work!

I like the mix of the forging, foraging, and exploring. Great use of the lighting, felt great! I had a bit of difficulty with the controls and a few bugs cropped up with picking up crafted items, but overall the game was fun.

I love the art style in this! The gameplay was a bit tough. I would die almost immediately when facing off more than a few enemies, I feel like you die a bit too fast. I-Frames would have been nice to prevent death so quickly. Overall it’s a fun game if you can survive to try the powerups! Nice work.

I like the idea, the difficulty was very hard. I had a good time in the gauntlets, though it was difficult when the arrows weren’t quite lined up with the angle to the mouse, that little bit of offset made me waste many arrows, which were expensive to recoup through forging. Overall the concept is a good start, with some more polish I think it has a fun gameplay loop to it.

Very unique take and execution of this one. I like the idea of building the swords out of parts and you are drawing the style yourself. Very fun idea. Could have benefited from some extra options for painting. More brush sizes and fill modes etc, but overall this was a fun quick jam game! Nicely done.

Nicely done. There are a few of these Overcooked types of games, and this one was well done. Pretty simple, yet difficult. I am terrible at this type of game haha. The controls were a bit picky depending on positioning and such, but overall it was fun.

Ah yes the great YoYo Trick: Throwable Metal Pickaxe! I had a blast making all of this, and am aware there could be balancing on the enemy AI. I’m excited to pursue some more of this as a post jam follow up. Thanks for the feedback!

Hmm ok, I’ll try and do some testing with firefox and see if I can reproduce or identify a potential cause. I’m guessing breaking stones doesn’t have the same issue?

Also, would you mind trying the windows download version and see if you have any issues with that?
