NOICE!!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!!! Not many people can make that claim. And thanks, much appreciated 🙏🏿

LMAOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! That clip 😂😂😂! I love Andy Samberg. I need to finish this show one day 😂

I totally forgot theres a story round! I appreciate the feedback. Im trying to push my narrative design skillset a lot this year so happy to hear it was received pretty well.

Thank you! I feel you on the mechanical implementation I toyed with the idea a bit but if Im being honest. Im trying to use the game jams this year to help prototype some of the systems I want in the game I'd like to release at teh end of the year. So I decided to focus more on story but I agree, a more mechanical implementation on top of the story would have took it from great to super dope.

Its very cool! It really may just be that Im bad at the game so I encountered it more often than most folks would.

Ahhh gotcha! I still standby everything I said. Always love your entries.

This is so cool! I did not get that far haha!

Enjoyed this one a lot! Some of the most impressive camera work I've seen in any of the entries. You made an immersive experience from the second I saw the title screen. If I could give any suggestion would be to give a similar amount of love to the game over UI. Would love to see this expand. Could be cool to see how other acts deal with the rude crowd.

Such a fun experience. Made me think of a nyan cat game I used to play a lot back in the day. A perfect submission for the theme. It screamed spectacle from every fiber of its being. 10/10 job!

Very dope entry. It reminds me of a game I used to play a bunch as a kid. I could see this as almost a battle royale game in the future that would be so much fun to play with friends! The only thing I might suggest is maybe a faster death and restart. I wasnt very good and died a lot so it might just be a skill issue lol.

Your games are always dope. I feel like there is very little I can say that would add value/improve what you produce. It's inspired some cool concepts I want to try in my game. Sent it over to a couple friends and they also thought it was very dope.

My boy Brainfart coming with another banger! This was a lot of fun and super addicting. The sound design and the quick games had me coming back for more and more (eventhough Im not good lol). The implementation of the 2 button modifier is impressive (I truly think that was the hardest one). A good ole arcadey fun time!

I love the character and world design of the game. It mixed with the music made me feel like I was out having a nice stroll out at the park. I like the concept and the use of the slider to track how much the player has eaten. If I could give any suggestions is to try playing around with different fonts and UI art assets. They could add a lot of pop to future menus and UIs.

Your signature aesthetic is soooo dope! So first of all that transition into the start! OOOOOOOHHHHHHH so good! I never got the final combination (I got all the digits) but I loved it. The little voices from the old timer reminded me of the TOTK for some reason (in a good way). Im only sad I didnt see the end spectacle cause I know its gorgeous.

Ooooof you had me the second that track started playing. Its soooooo fire and sets up the chill vibes of the game so well. One of the most cohesive and polished entries I've played so far. I dont normally gravitate towards this genre but I was getting a little bit addicted because of all the positive game feedback and the chill vibes. I thought it was a really good implementation of the 2 button modifier too (and that was like the hardest one).

Another "More is More" person! SHOUT OUT TEAM SIMON!!!! I love rhythm games and was really excited to play this one. This bad boy is HARD haha. I love the idea and concept but I wasnt able to get too far. I think someone said it earlier but the buttons changing for the characters each run was a bit confusing but i think the hard part for me is that they were centralized to one part of the board. So I wanted to use both hands to play but it felt awkward to do so. Love this though and I could see this becoming a nice indie title with some polish and a dash of narrative.

Much appreciated! I feel the same about your entries! Im thinking I can give the player more chances and time in future iterations. It's so hard to gauge difficulty when you are making the puzzles haha. Thanks for playing!

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!!!! 10/10 points for the concept and its very addicting. I was never able to beat it but I tried a bunch. Love the sounds design too, the transitions when you are caught are really cool too. Did you do that with two UI images as squares and you just trigger pulling those in when you get caught? Anyway very dope!

I feel like we play similar kinds of games because I always love what you produce. The sound design in this is so fun, I can't tell if it was my brain imagining it or not but the crowd seemed to get more hype the better I did. I love the synthy sounds as the lights change. And THE LIGHTS! Such good lighting effects. Im wondering how I can execute something similar in unity. If I could suggest one thing. Adding a royalty free synthwave music playing in the background I think it would add some valuable ambiance to the game. Something like this in the background would go so hard and fit nicely with the sounds you already have.

Thanks! In hindsight I def wish I made the dialogue a little more succinct. Don't want to lose the plot lol.

Really fun entry. Like alot of other have said you truly transported me back to the era of silent films. The presentation truly kicks ass. I had to go and show a couple of friends while playing it was so good. I love how you did spectacle in a couple of different ways. I feel like the player is a spectator, the story line was spectacle focused and the character designs, to the explosion at the end. ALSO love the story, Im a sucker for any narrative. Id love to see what happens next.

Much appreciated! I had a lot of trouble deciding the number of chances. I actually started with 5 but I think my play tester was just too good at Wordle because they said it was too easy but everyone else was wishing for more tries lol.

Hey Spike! Great game, especially considering that you joined the game a week late. You killed it with creating a cohesive aesthetic from fonts to art to music to animations. It all flowed together really well. I was super impressed by your inclusion of a tutorial. I thought it was smart to show a successful jump and then walk you through each step of the jump. I lost a lot though so I wish there was a way to skip through it to quickly get back into the action. Overall very cool. I could totally see this in like a dope Mario Party type game.

Much appreciated. Hoping to make some improvements in future games.

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it!

Def no pressure! I know it’s a bit of a time suck to do one. But if you do I feel like you’d boss it out!

This was soooooo good! I’ve been looking blessed with the art since day 1 and you’ve made it even more cinematic/immersive! Great job!

So happy you stayed in the game and submitted! I had a blast! Love the extra adds!

Controls were a little confusing for me but I love the atmosphere that you've created. All of the little sfx in the background layered on top of eachother to make you feel like youre in this small scary space is pretty cool!

THIS IS SO GOOD! I love how the audio mixed so well with the narrative in the beginning of the game and the voice acting for the audio logs *chefs kiss*. Its also such a great organic progression of your last version.

Cant wait to see what you do next!

The audio for this is perfection! I've played it the last couple of rounds and love what you've added to the end.

If I could suggest anything Id try to make the beginning a bit stronger. That way you can immerse the player n the story right away.

The beginning is SUCH a strong start. The cinematic fly overs took me OUT! I felt like the music, and sound effects are perfect for this game. For me it was a little hard to know what to do once I got started but it may have just been a me thing.

Loved it! I love a good adventure rhythm game. It was great how you incorporated it into the actual gameplay rather than making it its own level. I didnt do that and the way you've executed it makes it way more immersive!

Iconic. Inspiring. Absolutely amazing.

From the visual presentation using, what looks like, simple tweening with strong visuals to the clear, engaging voice acting you did that. No feedback for improvements. Hope you make a devlog about this process one day!

I LOVED this. The way you were able to make the jump sounds mesh with the background music no matter how many layers of the track you created really impressed me. Im not sure if you could go in any order but the order I unlocked the switches sounded perfect.

Such a good and engaging game. Can't wait to see what happens to these two guys. My ONLY critique would be a little more character dialogue. With two main characters and no npcs you could have a lot of fun with little moments as they go through the level.

Really just a small critique though. It was so good!

If you have time try and convince the Combat Director to like you. You'll know when you do and its a pretty cool surprise imo.

Thanks! Were you able to convince the combat director to like you?

Thanks for all the great feedback! I fear I have messed up with setting the goal of the game 😭

Wondering did you convince the Combat Director to like you 🤔
