Really cool idea, but as many and you have found, it was quite difficult. I would have liked to input directions using keyboard or gamepad, this would have helped input quick.

How does your game represent Mode?
It constantly switches between two modes.
I also tried to make the music of a certain mode, but it went out of hand a bit.. Maybe it still is.

That would make sense. I based the controls on having more coroutines/actions as part of the game when I started. An extinguisher, jump and other things was part of the original plan. And also, they were supposed to be limited, so you could run out of "move right" for instance. To compensate for that, you could pick up extra on the map.
But then, reality happened and I had to submit, made the map last minute and it is what it is. :)
Thank you for playing!
Great work on this! The game play was rather unique and I enjoyed the challenge it brought, I found myself having to think very quickly and carefully in order to carry on forward. Nice job!
Wow, I'm terrible at this! It definitely gets the cogs turning in my brain though, kind of distills that "game jam" deadline feeling into a nice little loop. Great work!
Took me a bit to get the hang of it but this is a pretty cool concept. Someone taking over and spitting out random commands if you don't finish in time really puts the pressure on to think fast but still progress safely.
This is a fantastic but I'm bad at it, an option for a slightly longer time limit would've been nice
theme, music and presentation are all really cool!
I just wish I could've found something after all that haha
Really fun idea. My main gripe is that I don't have an indicator for where I had to go and "exploring" in this type of movement is a bit tedious. But it made me nostalgic for Twitch Plays Pokemon which is a huge win!
Pretty fun, but it was quite evil to have this long section only for it to be a complete dead end :(
Fun idea. Found it quite difficult, and took me some time figuring out the controls, but otherwise very nice.
Really good and fun too, love the Retro Arcade aesthetic, and the concept is very fun! Hope to see this on Steam someday, good job!
