As far as I got, it seemed like a good, well-balanced game with attention to detail, like the smoothly moving camera. Although I’d recommend making it a bit faster since it’s possible to lose sight of the player at times if you try to move quickly away from the center. Music is great! It’s a shame the bosses after the garden can’t be played due to the freeze issue. I’ll be looking out for an update to play the full game.
hi what i could play of your game was quite fun, although i'm not very good with mouse and keyboard.
unfortunately, none of the other bosses past the shop would work, they kept freezing?
anyway, i like the style and gameplay, shame i couldn't play any more of it?
The boss fights are really cool, and the art in general is really cute.
Interesting ! This needs some polish but it's going somewhere! Camera movement could be smoother, the way HP is shown on Bosses can be rethinked, and the "Attack incoming" warning could be integrated in the boss itself, with a flash, some shake o something. Other than that, had fun with dialogs and I liked the change in the graphics, didn't expected that!
The art in this game is really fun! I really like the aesthetic and vibes you had going on! The dialog was quite silly and fun, and the gameplay was also really great! Overall, really fun game you made here!

Fun game, I like the charm of it. The dialogue is silly and that's always been my favourite kind of dialogue for jams like this!
The gameplay was fun with attacking building up the spin meter meaning you have to be somewhat risky but can then use it all at once to nullify a hard attack.
Unfortunately I ran into quite a few of the common bugs so I didn't get to the end but I enjoyed what I played!
I like the humor in this game, and I didn't expect the graphics shift when heading to the lobby! Unfortunately I was bugged and couldn't fight the bosses after the lobby. I tried restarting from the pause menu like the game page says, but the same thing would happened every time. A dialogue box would pop up quickly and then I'd be frozen.
One piece of advice I'd give is you have the attack incoming text in the corner of the screen, but it took me quite a while to notice it. I'd try to put the indicator on the boss somehow, maybe a quick flash of light or something before the attack starts.

I like the visuals and feel of the game, the attack spinning and dashing feels good, I would recommend to not move the camera that much with mouse, I mean I would say maybe just follow character and its good, or like in some games like lerping to the position but not letting the camera control it that much, but its a perosnal thing, so its up to you, I rate graphics, fun, control and theem on top, I like everything really, also, if you have some time, please, rate my game too, thanks!!!
I really liked this short little experience and its perfect ! just need some more work on boss designs and art visuals specifically more juice ! I think u can do add some particles when hitting the boss or fighting and camera shake it will be much more better. Nice game good job!!
The game gives a feeling of famicom game which is nostalgic. The combat feels good, moving around feels responsive and I like how you adjust the camera toward the face direction. The redness color of boss to represent HP is new but not good. I would prefer to see a health bar and keep the redness to make them look angry or raging. Overall, it's nice. Well done.
Cute game! I think the guy at the desk instantly added a lot of charm to the whole thing. With a little bit of VFX juice I think spinning on bosses could be really satisfying. Even without, the spin mechanic felt super useful and I liked the way that you balanced by putting it on a charge!
enemy health bar would be great. dash cooldown. Dialogue bug is unfortunate but it happens
It's a great game but there were some bugs I found
Frist, the camera system needs improvement, I think the camera max range shouldn't go beyond a certain range, and also if the camera overlaps with the player the camera glitch out
Second, when i entered the boss room the text box disappeared which hardlock the game
The game is neat, it has pretty cool combat music and very good SFX, I like the combat, how you have to do your regular attack in order to charge up mana to use your spin attack, and to me the bosses have the right amount of HP. I think it has potential, these are some suggestions from me if you want to continue this game after the game jam:
- Controls don't feel very responsive, I have to wait until the dash is complete to dash again, you could consider adding some buffering so that if I click dash and it's not available, the moment it becomes available it automatically dashes. Also sometimes dashes don't seem to match to where I am moving nor where I am looking, so I don't really understand where the dash is going towards.
- Adding a grace period after getting hit so that the player doesn't take damage during a short period of time.
- This is probably a bug, but I killed the spin 6000 boss and there was no door, so I thought I had to go back to the hub with the menu and the shoopkeeper wheel had nothing.
- Sometimes when entering the boss arena it gets stuck in the dialogues and I can't do anything, so I have to go back to the hub to fix it. Sometimes that doesn't fix it either
Overall, the game is pretty neat, it has a solid foundation.

i forgot to add the dash buffer! also the dash sometimes bug as you said and doesn't dash towards the mouse direction :(
i was planning to add i frames but i didn't have time to add the feature
also for the spin 6000 and the other bosses in general don't have doors to exit from after beating them because... i didn't have time again
and the worst bug that i've should fixed is the dialogue bug! the only way to fix it is just by luck :(
anyway i will fix the bugs and polish the game after the jam ;) and thanks again for the feedback!
