I am so impressed by the evolution from Adaca to this, the world building is fantastic. not to say that this is just an evolution of Adaca, there are truly creative differences in the gameplay and feel. I am starting a new run playing on mercy settings because so far the enemies are unequivocally destroying me, im really looking forward to where this goes, the polish of this demo is inspiring.

Nice! ill check it out when you get to!

Makes complete sense.

Thank you! Yeah i have a whole behavior system worked out for ones that climb on the hairs but couldn't implement it in time, I look forward to being able to update it when the jam is over!

Okay good to know, I recently upgraded my pc so i felt like this might have been a problem, I think unreal tends to be very visually intensive but in the future I think i can make it more performant! Thank you!

Really beautiful art style, I found it hard to differentiate what qualities of the sound mattered for what objects but the interface was really simple and that helped!

Really soothing experience, I loved your narration, The dynamics of the music felt really good as well. I had a really hard time eventually balancing everything which was great :)

I did not play this well, but the quality and cohesion of the sounds and graphics really felt great as I was managing my population. I really loved the ui and encounter variety!

The only thing getting in the way of me reaching 1000000 potatoes is my adhd, while also probably being the only thing that made me feel the need to get to 1000000 potatoes. Really really satisfying loop, the dyson potato was super cool around the sun.

Really nice arcade feel, the enemy variety was super cool! I wonder if there is a way to make it so that your ship rotates at a slower velocity for more precision? I really loved the feel of the momentum.

Really cool puzzle system. I loved the sound design too, I think there were a couple areas where i could grow the item twice and the second time the item wouldn't grow but the animation would play and in the split second where the animation plays i could jump through the crack, that may have been intended but it provided a couple cool solutions!

I really love the simplicity of the level boundaries, it made it feel really easy to see what you wanted me to see in terms of how the variety of keys and solves work. Also super cute game overall.

I was really surprised by the breadth of buffs I encountered, It felt really good to play. I did find that eventually when i had a bunch of buffs and got hit enough to be come really small i was outrunning everything to the point that i was floating in space by myself with nothing to shoot, but in all honesty if things had kept up with me i feel like i would have died very shortly after that lol

I love the sound in this, the puzzles felt like they redefined/added to the rules of the box often and that felt really nice for solutions, really cool. one thing I had trouble with was sizing the screen to be able to see all the ui, it was probably a browser issue on my end but i figure i would note it!

Really really cool control scheme, I love how complex the attraction is and the fall off for launching the ship toward the zone feels so satisfying, it took a bit of practice to get but your tutorial helps alot!

There is a really satisfying flow to your economic mobility in this. I like that you feel a bit more overpowered every couple minutes. I would love to see what would happen if the enemies had the same variety of types and power as the player.

Its such a cool mechanic, even with/possibly because of the bug, it feels very different from some of the other absorption games i've played. in the jam.

Oh no! I would love to know what your hardware is, this is the first time ive made something intended for other people to play so I think i have alot to learn about performance haha

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I cant wait to polish it up a bit more and make the level a bit more coherent.

I completely agree! I plan to add a few more unlockable movement abilities and rework the levels,  right now there is a jet pack ability but it takes too long to unlock. Also completely overlooked a save system to save your abilities when you get to the big bug. Thanks for playing!

Beautiful art style, i really wasn't expecting this much depth!

This feels really good, I love how fast the controller moves and the momentum, I ran into one bug where I died and got super stuck in a wall but could still shoot things. I really loved is as a satisfying speedrunner!

It took me reading the comments and your page to fully understand how the mechanic worked, but once i understood that you were absorbing rather than shrinking stuff the puzzles felt really satisfying, I also ran into the bug with not being able to be small enough, I tried going back to absorb more and see if i could shrink more but i realized i could absorb the whole block at the top to shrink twice as much which i don't know if that was intended, I couldn't do it again either so i'm not sure what i did lol

This town is great, I love the character of this game. At first i thought the camera changing so much was uncomfortable but i really think the absurdity added to the whole nature of the game!

Are there certain behaviors i should avoid to keep it from freezing, Id love to see the concept, it sounds interesting! I look forward to when you can upload after the jam to see the bug fix you mentioned on the page.

I love the cat, I also love the humor of it growing larger and LARGER haha One thing i noticed was that I could eat and knock off food at the same time, like it would give me points because i hit "e" when the falling off animation was playing. It will be cool to see the game grow!

I really like the combat after getting into it a bit, there is something nice about the simple enemy variety, great vibe overall.

This was such a cool climbing puzzle, I really like the balance of having to implement mechanical measures through platforming and then figuring out what tool is the best for the current predicament.

I really love the animations and character implementation, I love that it feels like two separate characters helping each other even though you are controlling both.

Really liked the implementation of scale, the usefulness of both sizes felt really balanced.

It took me a little to figure out that you could rotate the aligners with your mouse wheel but once i got that some of the solutions i found took me by surprise, really love the interface as well.

Really cool how much depth the attachments give to traversal. I was really frustrated with movement at certain moments and it felt like a great reward to get the ability that changes things in just the right way.

It took me a little bit to figure it out (partially cause i only skimmed the page before playing at first haha), but i like how complex the solution becomes as you allocate more time for components to work.

Really loved the environment/ambience. The intro is great too! I was having some performance issues once the chaos was at peak, like nearing the 2 minute mark. The black hole mechanic was really cool, I will have to play it a few times to see it more fully!

Thanks! I hope it works out.

I love the sizing mechanic, i keep over sizing myself in a place that i cant get out of haha, I see alot of complexity in the puzzle potential!

Thank you!

Thank you! Looking forward to fleshing it out more after the jam.

That is definitely an oversight, you need to use 7zip, Win Zip, or Win Rar to open it, most archive tools should be able to open it. Thanks for letting me know though, I didn't even think of it.

Thank you so much Antti
