This one is genuinely really cool and creative, great work! The fact that you pulled all of this out in 96 hours is pretty impressive!

I didn't expect to see such a stylistic work among 3D games. It's both inspiring and courageous. Well done!
Crazy achievement for a 96hr jam. Easily the most visually impressive 3D entry I've seen so far. The use of shadow is great, well done!
Hello !
I tested it Sunday afternoon
We wanted to make 3D for our game, but we couldn't for fear of lack of time. (even if there are assets already created, everything works too well) You've succeeded ! The quality, the atmosphere that you managed to put well done <3
The game is very beautiful (I have some lags though)
The concept is very cool too, very clever, well implemented
impressive to have done that in 4 days :o GG :D
By far the most technically impressive game I've seen, even if pre-made assets were made, putting everything together is always a massive task, especially when cutscenes are involved, kudos to all the team on that aspect! Unfortunately the gameplay does suffer from some problems, especially when jumping/platforming is involved, and the action of turning around sometimes put the orb behind the obstacles, letting you cheese them quite easily.
However the concept is still great, and I feel like this could legit turn into a bigger thing given a bit more time, really good stuff!
You did so muuuch in this game, the 3D levels, the environeemnt, all that is super cool to explore and to play !! Congrats !
I really wanted to give this one a try but unfortunately it literally runs 3fps on my igpu💀 sorry
Looked like a great concept, and looked beautiful, but I soft locked a few times at the beginning and couldn't continue :(
The graphics and atmosphere are amazing. Cutscenes, animations, popup text, this game felt like the intro to fully released game! Possibly the best I've seen in the game jam so far. I like the side-scrolling 3D puzzle platformer style. The game mechanic is really unique, but it was really unclear when and how to solve puzzles or what my goal even was from time to time. Really impressive work though!
your concept is perhaps the most unique is have seen out of all the games i have tried till now. I am not gonna say more about the polishing and the performance i just hope you build on the concept and make it into a full game. Its gonna be awesome. Good luck.
The game looks and sounds amazing ! Physics is a little buggy, but I understand that you didn't have time to polish that part, with all the rest of the impressive work you did. It can be unclear what is expected of us from time to time : I failed to identify the first pressure plaque as what it was and didn't understand why would solidifying my shadow helped. I passed the grid by jumping around it until my shadow was on top and I could blink lol. Only in the next tutorial where it said that it was a pressure plate did I understand what was expected of me before. Platforming can be demanding, I feel the experience would be even better if it was focused more on the puzzle mechanics and less on the precision jumping. But all in all it is truly great work for 4 days !
That's very amazing game! A nice mechanic of using scale and great implementation!
Visuals are high quality, cutscenes, animations. It's really looks more like a product for a release than a jam game.
Simply amazingly polished! I do think the cover with "Shadow" is even better art but the light and camera and all the other in the game is still much better than what I can do! Thank you for the inspiring journey!
Maybe the time is too limited to stick to the rule to highlight the key elements ( that happened to me too orz ) and it's not quite for a jam since nearly impossible for web player ( turning out completely impossible ). That's sad. This should be experienced by more players.
What a beautiful visual effect, I really love the art of game. Pretty one.
are you sure u made this in 96 hours?? cause this is crazy impressive ૮₍˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ₎ა
I'm so sorry to hear this. Maybe you can watch the gameplay video of the game. The game in this video and the jam game use the same version.
Or you can follow this way;
GameLocation\NeverWithoutShadow\Windows\SpriteOf\Saved\Config\Windows and change GameUserSettings.ini with this (change only [ScalabilityGroups] tab and you can copy-paste)
[ScalabilityGroups] sg.ResolutionQuality=0 sg.ViewDistanceQuality=1 sg.AntiAliasingQuality=1 sg.ShadowQuality=1 sg.GlobalIlluminationQuality=1 sg.ReflectionQuality=1 sg.PostProcessQuality=1 sg.TextureQuality=1 sg.EffectsQuality=1 sg.FoliageQuality=1 sg.ShadingQuality=1 sg.LandscapeQuality=1
this looks like a triple A game. Love the atmosphere and movement <3 The lighting upgrades the game feel. Good job!
