First game I've seen made in Unreal so far, nice work! Control scheme feels very sensitive but the game was fun! I like the visual aesthetic!
The beat is almost in sync with each new drop of an object, I would've loved to have that match up perfectly. I feel like that would've been very satisfying. But even without that, I enjoyed my time with this. The style is great and colorful and you get a nice instant feedback for everything you do. Nicely done!
I want to experimental games like this! Loved the ambience. The music was well chosen.
On my computer, it's complaining about not having the Visual C++ Runtime, though I just installed all versions from 2005 through 2022. I'm using wine though, so could I know which version I need exactly, or get privately a Linux build (if that's allowed)? I'm segfaultdev on Discord.

Ah damn, sorry to hear that. I didn't have the time to make a native Linux build, as I've never done that before, so I wasn't really sure what it would take to do that. But I will absolutely look into that in the future, as for personal reasons I also want to try it on my SteamDeck. Thank you so much for looking into it anyways, and sorry again :)
That is the single most interesting concept I've seen from games on the jam! I really liked the design, the music and the gameplay.
From feedback:
1. Give a player a little time to understand how to control before starting the game, first time I launched the game I tried to move mouse up and down, which didn't work at all and I've spent around 30 seconds trying to figure out what was wrong.
2. Say that you need to move mouse horizontally for stupid people like me xD
Also you are a beast for creating such small size for an Unreal Engine Game. I was able to scale mine only to 200 Mbs :)

Thank you so much for the feedback <3 I agree, should've been more clear on how the controls work. Maybe I'll add it on the itch page - the whole intro stuff was made in a rush towards the end, and I was just happy it worked and I didn't brick anything :D
Regarding filesize - yeah I was pleasently surprised. I watched a tutorial on that, but there wasn't really anthing new to learn there - strip all unneeded plugins, don't package Starter Content, only package whitelisted maps etc. - what also helped me certainly, is that my biggest assets were like 96kb wav files, since I only used basic engine shapes etc. :D

The idea is really cool and unique. The mouse controls just felt too sensitive a lot of the time, i would move slightly and it would tip all the way
Interesting to hear that feedback - most people have been reporting otherwise so far. Do you mind me asking what resolution your monitor has? I'm not 100% sure if the function I used to get the mouse input is dependent on the resolution or not, so that would be very interesting to know. A simple concept but executed brilliantly! I got to about 45 and then lost everything haha. I did like how the text on-screen responded to how you did, it would be really cool if there was some underlying story element too. Overall, fantastic! Well done!

Thank you so much for playing! I will explore some more input options in the future, as I really would love to test this on the Steam Deck also. But I'm worried how different inputs will affect difficulty so for the duration of the jam I purposely focused on one input method only.
Same goes for additions to the gameplay. I've had a few ideas, but due to the time restriction for the jam I couldn't explore them for now.
Maybe I will expand on this in the future - I dont know yet :)

Thoroughly enjoyed the music scaling for this, I'm not very good at balancing so I only got to around 55 ish, but I reeeeally wanted to hear how the music progressed passed that point! I like how when the low volume of the next music layer comes in, even if you lose a few blocks it tempts you to try again to hear the next part. Very creative, cool concept.

Working on the music & scaling was a lot of fun! I've never worked with Unreals Metasound before and was baffled how quickly I was able to get decent results - without much of a musical background whatsoever. There were some tutorials that helped a lot and I was just scratching the surface. Very powerful stuff!
Neat little game, I liked the audio and visual aspect and the mechanics were very simple. I found myself sliding my mouse too far to one side to keep balance, in the end I increased my mouse's sensitivity. The inspirational messages were nice and the text was funny. (Even if the text was worried it wasn't) Nice work!

Sadly I didnt really have much access to playtesters other than myself so I wasn't sure how much of an issue this would be. When the balance shifted too much on one side I picked up the mouse an recentered and felt it was a natural way to add challenge, but I totally get your impression!
