This is a great demo!

Would it be much effort to provide the source code without any of the assets, even in a half broken not working state? I would love to see how you implemented the graphical settings.

ty for the kind words! you are really making me think I should polish this off and add some new content and release it for real :D

yeah man keep at it! and hey, more people have played your game than mine :P

Was fun to play but I dont think it really fits the theme, its basically a wizard with a directed attack spell

Nice idea but to be honest it really didnt feel like you were moving the maze, it just felt like you are moving the player around

It's like the opposite of animal crossing lol I think the farmer moves too fast though once I see him I know its game over!

I actually had a lot of fun with this, the voice acting made me laugh but the gunplay was actually nice and chunky

Yeah for sure, balancing and polish are basically impossible in a 2 day game jam :)

I had a surprising amount of fun with this one, got to 62 quests given before I got screwed with only having +1 heals for 4 fights in a row killing my last hero :'(

neat game, but I experience a bug where "next level" and "retry" buttons don't work. I have to restart the game each time

Great little game with some nice puzzles, I just wish it had a speed up button, there was one level I had to replay many times because of badly placed springs

Sorry its not working for me on macOS :( I like the idea and wanted to try it though

Love the artwork and graphics!, my only problem with the game was that I never had any idea where the rabbit hole would take me

Cool concept but was a little hard to play effectively, I actually had more fun after I died because I was able to zoom out and watch the pretty chaos of the ai fight each other

Nice little game, it was actually quite head-scratching having to think about how to trap the snakes rather after all these years of doing the opposite.

Thanks! and yeah absolutely I was thinking of having bullet time as things you would have to collect on the board along with other power ups but I really was not able to finish it in time so left the game as it was rather than adding a half finished feature.

ty! if you look at my account library, all of my submissions have been gmtk jams from the previous years, you will see that I have leveled up quite a lot over the years so its great to hear that my jams feel more polished :)

Nice idea but unfortunately whenever I tried to build a long track there were issues with the roads not connecting properly so the drivers kept getting stuck.

Obviously its alot of work for 2 days, but would be cool if each car had different stats and that you would build the track, then place bets on the different racers, knowing the track you made to guess which cars would do best.

Nice fluid gameplay! I love the rotating platforms that kept the targets moving. I just wish there was a way to heal to play longer.

very fun game, the only problem I can say about it are that the controls are very floaty like it feels sluggish moving the character around when for this gameplay fast snappy movements and jumps would make it wasy more fun. But great implementation of the theme nice work

Sorry if it comes off as being disingenuous but we did try to be transparent and listed every single asset we used from HeartBeast and linked to his channel.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game anyway, yours is great too it has some awesome puzzle design and music

Really clever puzzles, I love how you mixed things up with the tortoise having opposite movements and your level design and difficulty curve were really nice, good job getting 25 levels!

Thanks for playing the game Im glad you like it! And thanks for the feedback about the chain, I'm surprised it worked at all because those physics were very difficult to get working where the chain can actually interact with the world aswell getting stuck on things and if you saw how I implemented it in the end you'd laugh and immediately understand why sometimes it stopped you moving when it shouldn't

I think the majority of the assets were created during the jam, but alot of what you see came from or are edited sprites from a youtuber named HeartBeast who makes great tutorials on how to make games using Godot and GameMaker we have listed all of the assets we used from him in the game description:  (Bush, Tree, Cliff Tile, Dirt Tile, Bat Sprite, Fox Sprite, Sound Effects)

I'll be checking out your game today after work for sure!

I made it to the end and it was fun blowing up the end game scene haha  great idea of having to create the path for the second twin with the first twin each puzzle, I also made a puzzle game but each character must reach their goal at the same time.

Loved the music and the setting and artstyle. It was great fun playing this co-op

Really cool idea,  being able to customize your robot with different functions. Great music art too, esp the  junkyard setting. would just like  bit more visual feedback such as when you hit enemies or beat a level.

Beautiful looking game, I like these types of games where you look at the world from two perspectives to solve puzzles. Yours is a bit unforgiving, I couldn't get past the shooting robot the hird time and really wished for a checkpoint

Great concept, I can see myself playing the game alot if it was more fleshed out, obviously what you have achieved in just two days though is great (I managed to win by allying with everyone).

Thanks! I tried your game too, I failed badly the first two times but I managed to reach 280 but then I slipped on a banana skin haha. neat little game and nicely polished for only 48 hours

You'll find more "inured people" if you play your game in real life ;)

You should have prayed to RNJesus instead of letting him take the wheel

Good idea but it took me a little bit of time to figure out wtf I was doing, ofc though 48 hours is barely enough time to make a game let alone a good tutorial

oh also the voice was creepy af, I loved it haha

I love the concept and it really fits with the theme but the game is way too hard to play, maybe its because Im using a track pad but its impossible to move any of the logs fast enough when the ghost gets you, I will try again with a mouse and see if I can get further. But the visuals and concept are great. Tried it with a mouse and it works great

Very fitting with the times, it would be funny if you made a "People wear masks" and "people socially distance" toggles that made the game easier / harder as well haha

Great visuals on the game and I like the idea but I think the mechanics would be more fun and fit the theme better if the controls moved around and got stuck in the wrong slots themselves for example D getting stuck in the A slot making them work backaward, or W getting stuck i nthe space slot so W now shoots so the the controls are changing until you manually drag it out and put it back into the correct place. Maybe even collect power ups that let you remove the wrong binding or something. Good job though!

good game, I liked the twist on the classic horizontal scrolling shooter it was fun deflecting all the bullets around good job!

Yeah sadly the score screen at the end is very lackluster, it was a very rushed implementation tbh, a leaderboard would have been a great addition
