Yay!! someone understood the music, I was inspired by PS1 jungle and racing game soundtracks. I listened to a lot of Tokyopill's "Tokyo Drift club" album while making levels so that was also an inspiration. Also super glad you liked the menu, I've been iterating on that system I made for a couple jams overhauling it every time to make it more interesting and expanding it's capabilities

so funny thing, if you weren't slippery on the ground the plane wouldn't be able to lift off at all LOL. The way I have the physics implemented necessitates the slipperiness. However I don't intend on changing it because it means that the player has a bit more room for error especially when contacting walls and such. Glad you enjoyed!

Yeah several people mentioned the controls were a bit iffy but I'm glad you got it figured out! thanks!

Thanks! as for the pace of the music I was directly inspired by old PS1 racing games. It's meant to push you to be faster and take every corner with finesse and speed! I'll keep it in mind though thanks!

Glad you liked it! As for mouse movement, what are you thinking? Something along the lines of War Thunder?

that's what I did though? I had 3-4 playtesters testing 7 different builds giving constant feedback. Admittedly the last 2 levels (cherry blossom and forest) had very little testing as I was running out of time. If those were issues I'd love to know why because after the jam I intend to revise the game as it is and make a "Jam Edition" of it. it's definitely not a good jam game because it takes more time than the average jam player is willing to put into understanding the controls and physics intuitively. If you're willing I'd like to hear more about issues you had with it, criticism is always helpful if it helps make the game better. Thanks

can't find blocks anymore:(. This definitely had the potential to be one of the coolest games out of the jam, sorry you got sick

I really liked that the sprites actually changed with damage, very cool!

the zoom was a nice touch!

Wonderful pacing in combat, a nice ebb and flow of offense and defense!

I saw your updates on this on the discord, really cool to finally get to play it, good job!

Very cools game! I love how theres some complexity in making simple images by making the actual input the challenge. Also good job on the atmosphere and music!

This feels like watching old SM64 SFM videos and I love that

I really liked the OST!

charming game! simple and intuitive

Controls are a bit rough but congrats on your first game!

Making golf interesting with orbital mechanics! loved it!

a bit glitchy but i figured it out, really interesting concept i'd be interesting in seeing what would happen if this became a full release

Hi, i would like to dismantle capitalism. where do i start

I now know how big the game is, i have a banana for scale

9:59 was my time. I like incremental games so this was enjoyable. I kindve wish the cost per ball scaled with size but im sure theres reasons its not that way

it fits the theme by using an alternative meaning to scale, being to climb something. You're climbing up buildings and structures

A silly concept but a well made game. I loved the filter and the vibe it gave

I turned Canada into Bananada as is to be expected. Amazing project

Wasn't expecting gritty alcoholic scarecrow but it wasn't unwelcome. I liked the tight level design that didn't overstay it's welcome! good game!

Chess with skill trees! I like "Chess 2: Pawn of the Dead"

Thanks for the hint! I went back and beat it. I think the reason most people didn't get it is possibly because the code for the first file isn't a normal word in English. It makes sense but it's written differently. Thank you though, I still enjoyed the game!

Can't figure out the first key but I got the other 2. I don't play many horror games because I'm not easily scared but this game was very tense and kept me on edge the whole time. Good job all of you!

It has some good game feel but I wish there was a setting to mute/turn down music. Good game!

I don't play many match 3 type games but this is a good one. I like that the whole row/column shifts instead of just swapping 2 adjacent tiles! I had a good time, great job!

Once it clicked and i figured out what kills me and what doesnt it became a really interesting and tense game. Fighting the clock was scary but not impossible and the refills were placed perfectly. I liked that the music changed when the sugar was picked up, it was a nice detail. good job!

I loved the concept but I really felt that difficulty spike

The game doesn't seem to work?

I was confused but I enjoyed my time. That's all I can ask for. Good job!

I love a good boss fight and you made 3! good job!

(1 edit)

I loved the atmosphere and the controls were very well done. I never felt like a death was anything other than a skill issue. Platforming was a treat, I don't play many 2D platformers but this made me want to start. The steady increase in complexity and the tight level design left me wanting more and didn't overstay it's welcome! Excellent job!
Edit: Forgot to mention, I really appreciated the controller support! Something about using a gamepad made it more enjoyable

Broke my brain, would play again

I only ever intend to play score based games for 5 minutes or so. but this one, you've added more mechanical depth to tetris. i dont know what year it is, amazing job to all of you!!

I'm a little biased because i love cars and racing games, but i had a lot of fun. I liked the resource management you managed to add in with the engine and tires. I looked behind me to see if he was catching up and i audibly laughed when i saw him cutting the entire section of track i was going around. really cool!!
