Fun game! I liked the mechanics of the boss fight. I was confused about the last level though, I thought that maybe one of the pits would work as an exit, and tried them all, but died everytime.

I really loved this game and the art! There were a few things with the movement I found uncomfortable and annoying at times such as no coyote time, but overall I enjoyed this game and its art!
You mentioned it was your first gamejam. You've got a lot of solid platformer mechanics (moving platforms, increasingly hard jumps, hazards, etc in the game. Good job on your submission!

I love his hat animation when you jump and the music makes it all feel really nice and arcadey. Its not very on-theme but that boss fight is really clever and bouncy. Very nice first game!

Lots of content! I definitely liked the art style of the game. You could do a bit more with the controls, maybe adding magic powerups, and a timer. I could definitely see myself speedrunning this for gold medals. Overall, fun game!
I was gonna add a spell where you dash 3 blocks in a poof of smoke but i cant do that, but thanks for your comments :D
Controls are a bit rough but congrats on your first game!
Yeah i shoulda made it smoother but ill work on controls next time as i havent fully learned gdscript but if you find any courses to learn it please send it
the music is a banger, the controls are a bit hard. next time i'd recommend adding coyote jump to the game, this will make it more fun in my opinion but good game overall!

Hey, nice jump'n'run. I like the snappy controls! a win screen would be a nice add on. But the boss fight is funny. Maybe make the hit boxes a little smaller the next time. But overall a good job!

For being the first videogame ever made by you is quite a good start, allthough it has nothing special about the gameplay the character design is nice and fun. We all got to start from the basics, good job!
