Really creative idea and it looks and sounds very appealing. I was a little overwhelmed at first. I'm happy there is information in the game but feel like maybe some type of more step-by-step onboarding would have been nice. It's definitely a very cool game, that could easily have a browser and mobile version too. Great job!

Thanks for the feedback ^^, a step by step idea wouldnt be bad, but i implemented the tutorial like 2h before the deadline so i didnt have time ^^'

It took me 9:40 minutes to get to 1000. This is definitely in my top 3 games of the jam right now. The sounds of the balls, the animation of the container when you hit them, seeing the building grow to the top with increasing population. This just has so much charm.

I honestly don't have a single critique point, except that I would like more content because this was really fun.

This is a super sweet and simple game. Incredibly good job, guys!

I could see this being an actual game and not just a game made for a Jam, for example by adding some little power-UPS or if you want to push the thing really far, a skill-tree xd. For some reasons i feel like it could have the same gameplay potential as Cookie Clickers (with the simple game mechanic yet addicting and the possibility to add endless things like mentionned above). Sound effects are pretty cool, art style is like a flashbang in CS-GO but pretty cool to look at, the little sounds in the background that are not specially needed just makes the game more alive when playing (wish there was a music mute button though).  My PB is 4:30 which is close enough to 4min, and i reached 17m population in about an hour^^

Overall i think the game fits the theme of the GameJam and is pretty fun to play

Really well done! The simple style complements the game brilliantly. I do think the pacing of the game needs to be balanced a bit more, as I felt I was just waiting for all of the early game, and then all of a sudden things started happening. But overall, good job!

Developer(+1)

Yep that's 100%, the early game feels slow and all of a sudden you happen to have enough money each day so it goes super fast, thats something i need to change ^^'

A deceptively simple and addicting central gameplay mechanic presented with style.

Developer

This comment sounds agressively kind, thanks tho ^^

9:59 was my time. I like incremental games so this was enjoyable. I kindve wish the cost per ball scaled with size but im sure theres reasons its not that way

Developer

Well, buckets far away are harder to hit so it gives a positive feedback when hiting them, now imagine spending more money on something hard and you miss, it gives negative feedback to something that is good ^^

This game was really interesting ! The concept and the art style are amazing. I felt a bit stuck in the beginning but I managed to reach the goal in 10 minutes 😁

Well done and congratulation for your submission !

Good job, and I'm happy you made it to the end without giving up ^^

I like it! I am not a huge fan of idle games but this one is quite interactive. It's very satisfying when you hit the ball directly into the right spot. Great minimalistic style and from what I can tell: bug free (other than my game haha).

Developer

If you look closely, you'll see that before the population text gets updated, it's set to 365 (which was a testing value) and i noticed that after the deadline ^^'

Relaxing game with very clean artstyle! I did three runs and never got even close to 1000 in 4 mins xd Definitely a skill issue tho :D I feel like an indicator when things get blocked before they do would be awesome.

Developer

I'm very glad you liked the game ^^, an indicator for the blockers is definitly a good idea ^^

And as for the 4min, my friend's best score is 4:28 :3

(1 edit)

IT'S ME THE FRIEND WHO DID 4MIN28 ^^

Developer(+1)

(yes, it's him xd)

A simple and clean design style! I love this style, but it took me a little while to figure it out, and when I actually travelled through it, I think it was worth the time

Developer

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like this style ^^

A cool idea with neat visuals, but the execution could have been better. I got caught in a negative feedback loop of spending all my money every day to unclog one of my buckets :(

Developer (1 edit)

Yep the values and blocks blocking the buckets could have been better, but somehow my friend managed to get 17m population with like $405/day so I'm pretty sure if you played a bit much you would have been unblocked :3

Thanks for the feedback tho!
