My only regret is that I didn't have time to make more levels before the deadline. Im glad you enjoyed it!

Hey, as the game designer of this game, I'm crazy glad to hear that you liked the gameplay formula! If you want to chat about my design process feel free to contact me on Discord. My name there is: evgenistan

We have sold our souls to the Demon of Shaders to grant us unmatched power! We are happy you loved it!

Hey thanks a lot! Glad you had fun with it! You can subscribe to our Twitter for updates on the project's future!

Yeah it gets a bit glitchy especially when its at minimum size. We'll keep working on the project and fix this and other imperfections. Thx for playing!

Im digging those kinds of atmospheric games!

I like the game idea, I think it works as a proof of concept.

Nice art and aesthetics. Gameplay didn't quite land with me though, I'm not really an inventory-organizing guy I guess.  Either that or I didn't understand the mechanics correctly.  Does putting items into the hero's inventory instead of the chest do anything?

Thx for playing! We would love to see Mark play it too haha!

I really like the visuals and style! The gameplay is pleasant but rather conventional for this kind of games. The scaling twist is cool but I feel like it has more potential for strategizing and interesting gameplay choices. For now the game just forces you to change scales and basically switch gameplay type A to gameplay type B. But overall nicely done!

I was searching for a comment like that. Not disappointed either!

We are planning to expand on the mechanics to make a bigger game out of the concept and release it on Steam. We will post a link to the project's twitter page later today. Thx for playing!

I think you could accidentally collide with an enemy that was just next to the screen border. You don't see them but if you get close enough to the edge you can still collide with an enemy and get reset. Thanks for a good review!

It took me a while to understand the mechanics, but once I did it became fun. I would suggest making player HP green and placing his sprite on the opposite side of the board since for 3 rounds I thought it was just another enemy and didn't get where my own HP was.  I like that it has strategy and a block-placing mechanic gives a new layer of puzzle to the gmaeplay

Interesting puzzle mechanic that motivates careful considerations and strategy! The only thing I would wish to be different would be the number of levels as I feel I want MOOOOREE!!! Great Job!

I'm super glad you enjoyed it! I was like "damn what shall our UI be? Whats our game even about? Application windows? Then ill just make a bunch of windows and call it a day"

The magic of shaders! Thx for a nice review!

Thx for playing! What exactly did you find annoying - the fact that window size is limited or the way resizing itself feels?

I like the idea of scaling up from the most tiny organisms up to bigger enemies like fish and stuff. Pretty simple but cool.

Yes! its genuinely crazy how good of a job you did with finding the right sounds in such a short time! We integrated the sounds only an hour before the deadline or so XD

No problem, I just had to re-read controls  a few times to get the idea. No big deal! Was fun to play

We will consider continuing development since people seem to really like the idea. Thx for playing!

Man i didn't get the game at first but when I realized how to switch dimensions without teleporting inside an enemy it became super fun. I like that it challenges you to deal with enemies in all of the worlds as fast as you can. Can really see it as a game with potential!

Nice mushroom game! Did you use any for inspiration? XD

(1 edit)

Bro I love you. As the person who did all the art alone super nice to read it < 3

Nice level expansion mechanic! I would love a bit more challenge though as I quite quickly figured out the optimal strategy of staying in the corner and holding LMB , ghost just can't do anything. Would be cool if there were mechanics motivating the player to move around more and use level design to their advantage! But great job keep it up!

Would love it!!! Wanna play our game? Its also a puzzle so you might like it!

Cool Game! You are brave for doing a game in 3d in such a short time! Good job

The visuals are great

I like the way you merged platforming puzzling in a very enjoyable formula that requires both strategy and agility. Well done!

ROCK AND STONE! Really fun little game! It stayed "you won" I'm not sure if its because I collected enough gold or cuz I went high enough with my drilling machine?

I played the first two levels and it was fun! I bet that the version on your PC without the bugs is a banger as I can tell the game has great potential for interesting puzzles! Art style is simple but cute and I like the little animations when the shapes jump!

One of the few times where BIGGER is always BETTER. Haha. Nice SPIN (see what I did there)  on the theme. I see the potential in this concept especially with more polishing and gameplay variety.

* Thy dog ahead*  Great game guys, I like the cuteness of it and the art style!

Haha yeah, our game can be a full-on horror sometimes XD.  Glad you enjoyed your time with the game!

Huh, cool concept! Like how cards a level of strategy to the balancing tower part!

I like the emissive minimalism of it! And a creative interpretation of the theme!

haha cool! Love it when bugs come out as game mechanics in the end!

I think in your concept the main strength is in the smart puzzle mechanics that work great. Its often hard to merge platforming and puzzling right  and I like that in your game platforming is a part of the puzzle and requires strategy. So I would purposefully make the platforming less demanding and more strategic. But I still enjoyed the 13 levels that I completed ! Good job!

Nice one! We had been discussing the exact same concept on day 1 but went along with a scalable window game instead! Good job!
