I really liked the concept. But it was very tough. Maybe some more starter hints
This was fun, the concept fit the theme perfectly, but it was pretty hard, wished the platforming was less tight.
I like the idea of this, and can see the potential for some fun ideas there. However, in my playthrough personally, there were a few bugs that unfortunately slowed down playing, so I didn't get through a lot of them. If the collision was fixed, it would probably make for a better experience. I also think the moving platform took too long to move, so it had me waiting a lot. I also think it would be helpful to make the mechanic intuitive by making a transparent overlay of the original platform layout. If there were more tutorials about how to utilize the lens, I'd have a more fair experience.
Thanks a lot for your feedback! We should definitely explain the mechanic with a proper tutorial in a future version of the game.
Collisions are indeed far from perfect. Improving them is one of the first todo in our list :)
Very unique idea with the lens to magnify the platform
Using a window for scaling the platforms is a neat idea. I had a hard time jumping on top of some platforms, but I really liked that they didn’t just grown and shrink, they moved around with the magnifying window.
Thanks! We definitely need to improve the "platforming" aspect of the game 😅
The concept of this game is so amazing! And it’s so well developed too. I found some bugs (as you already pointed out) but it was a great experience nonetheless. Good job! I enjoyed it!
Really nice idea, can easliy picture this mechanic being built upon further in a full game. I like it a lot, well done!
Thank you very much for testing our game and your nice comment!
Really unique concept, has a few bugs but besides that the game is really fun!
Thank you for playing :D
Very unique concept! Great work!
Thank you for your kind words :)
INCREDIBLE mechanic, I'm super impressed! it's a very fun way of incorporating the theme and really challenged my spacial thinking. Moving the Glass around without bumping the character was a little fiddly, but a very fair price to pay for the mechanic implemented. Fantastic work!
Thank you so much for your kind words! We really appreciate it :D
There's a lot of nuance to the magnification concept that could potentially be explored in future puzzles! I like how you can essentially break a platform into 2 different pieces to make a stairstep or create an elevator by moving the cursor. It's kind of a trippy effect. It would also be cool to see the magnification used to expand holes that help you cross through walls or something. It was a short experience, but it shows promise.
Great ideas! We have a few more ideas, too, which we hope to implement in a future version :) Thanks for playing and the great suggestions and comments :)
Cool idea :) I didn't get very far but I would totally play this again once some of the bugs have been worked out.
Thank you very much for giving it a try!
Fun idea! I had some collision problems and got stuck in a mushroom on the second level, but the game is super cute and really impressive for a first game jam (and game!) ever. I can't wait to see how it looks like if you give it a bit of polish
Thank you for your kind words :D We are excited about the idea, too. I hope we will expand and polish it in the future!
Wow, very good game. The art was nice and the gameplay was fun. One of the best platformers I've seen so far.
Thank you for playing and your super kind words :D
Great idea and really good level design. I found a few bugs, but overall the game was really good.
Thank you very much for playing our game and the feedback! We hope to fix some bugs and add some features in a more fledged out version in the future :D
Pretty enjoyable but a bit buggy, i kinda got stuck in mid air when changing the size of the magnifying glass on the seconds screen. Besides that its a cool idea and if debugged could make for a fun game.
Thank you so much for playing our game! Yes, there unfortunately are some bugs; we hope to fix them and add more functionality in a later version :)
To be fair this is still pretty impressive even with the bugs, I was pretty amazed when I first saw it!
Fun, if short and a little buggy. The platforming physics could also use some work. (They feel a bit too heavy and you don't move with the one moving platform.)
I genuinely have no idea how you could make a magnifying glass mechanic like that. It's a really cool concept and I kinda wish more was done with it than just platforms. Good game overall!
Thank you very much for your extensive feedback! If we work on this project in the future we will make sure to make everything “flow” nicer. Also, we had several ideas on what to add functionality wise in the future - so there will be more than just platforms :D
Wonderful. Not only did you have a great idea, but you implemented in a very clean way.
Good job!
Thanks for the feedback! 🎉🎉🎉
Spectacular! I loved how they solved the mechanics! Congratulations!
Thank you very much!
Wow! This game is very creative! I didn't think someone would someone come up with an idea like this!
Thank you for your kind words :)
