writing for strings is so much fun! I've been a part of orchestras for over 10 years now, and they're my favorite section to write for.  There's a small learning curve when writing for them, especially for non -string players, but it's 130% doable!

Thank you so much! You're so right, looking back I do feel like this is missing a tense track.

Also, I'm Argentine, but my last name is super Italian haha 😃. I should learn Italian though, I think knowing English and Spanish should help a bit.

You can tell by listening to this OST just how much hard work was put into it in such a short amount of time, and it paid off so well. This is genuinely beautiful. The writing, the harmonies, the mixing, even the storytelling throughout, y'all knocked it out of the park. This better be in the top 20 submissions, I love it so much.

Really really solid tracks! The composition is great all across the board, and your mixes sound super clear! I love this hybrid of acoustic and digital that you went with, it's really darn good!

Dude you're so kind, thank you! 😭

I really like how well thought out this OST is for the game you envisioned (and made animations for!). It feels very complete and fleshed out!

You mentioned in you design document that you were trying to really sell happiness, sadness, and melancholy, and you really did do just that. You packed so much into one track, it feels like when you go to a bakery and pick up one single item that completely fulfills the expectations you had for it. Really really awesome stuff!

omg you're too kind! thank you so much!

I've been meaning to rate more entries, it's just been a crazy week haha.

Wow! I love how you combined acoustic and synthetic sounds together with this OST, it's a very emotional one for sure! This is the kind of soundtrack that inspires me to keep writing, it's so authentic. I love it!

That was my favorite one to write too!

I really like the variety in your OST! You explored various different types of tracks you'd find in a soundtrack, and you maintained a cohesive sound palette throughout all of them. Nice!

This is exactly what a sentient toy cat would sound like, I love the choices of instruments y'all used!

thank you! It's like I said, the Disney brainrot got to me

The music is great, but we gotta talk about those track names. Bogart Blobfish is GOLD! Especially given the description you provided.

This is so fun, I love it! It those bubbly synths going up remind me of the cartoon car skid SFX lol, that's so good.

Those string synths in Danger Sequence are awesome!

Absolutely mind-blowing. Each track captivated me so much, I could definitely hear this in a game.

Kuddos for having a song in the OST! It's such a nice touch to an already extremely solid soundtrack!

thank you!

I'm another Sea Frog believer lol, that was such a good track!

I really like the Thai influence! I'm still going through submissions, but you're the first one to do that!

And you wrote all of this in a week? Absolutely insane, congrats!!!

All of your tracks line up perfectly to the game you described. Wow. I just don't have words, this is amazing.

YEAH! CUBASE!!!!

Dude, thank you so much! I will be using these in the future lol.

What did you use for the ocarina? I love the quality of its sound.

Fear of clowns: reconfirmed!

Love the cohesion between all of these tracks, they all feel and sound like they belong in the same game.

I love the ambiance you went with, I think it really fits the theme!

for real, Neverknow247 is insanely good at it

Sometimes I got a bit overwhelmed by the enemy attacks and how it was sometimes hard to see the missile-like ones, but I enjoyed amassing an army of monkeys.

Massive congratulations on having a beautiful opening cutscene in such a short amount of time, that's impressive! The game was also really fun, I enjoyed being able to give orders to the monkeys, but level 2 was really difficult lol.  Still, that was a fun game!

I died so many times lol, but I liked the repetition in coming back and trying again.

I really liked the banana slipping technique, that was really creative! Unfortunately I'm awful at platformers, lmao, but I like the game's concept!

Like other comments have said, I really enjoyed how fun it was to replay levels. Most of the times I died were due to my own mistakes, so it was fun to try the levels again. Nice game!

I never played jump king, so I was raging so hard at this game lmao. The second stage alone took me 7 minutes to make that jump. I love the art direction, backgrounds, character animations, everything. This was amazing!

36 hours??? That's insane, congrats on what you managed to do, especially solo. Having six endings was cool!

You created the hardest game for Connor, because now he has to read lmaooo. That fight at the end was cool, great use of dialogue choices.

(disclaimer I played it using a Mac on the browser so that might explain the issues I had lmao) I really enjoyed the mechanics, but there were a few bugs that didn't let me finish the game. I couldn't hear one of the two notes I could play, and the game kinda paused forever after the first song. That being said, I love the artstyle, the concept, your interpretation of the theme, and the music choice!

that hidden area was cool! sometimes the camera not adjusting to the character made the jumps more dangerous and unexpected, but overall it was cool!

Dude, this rage game is amazing. I couldn't beat it, but man did I spend so much time trying. I love the layering that goes on in the music as you progress through the level, really cool use of interactivity. The one thing is that I heard some harsh clipping in the sound during the loop, but other than that it was great. Love the aesthetic too!
