Description
When I saw this image and read the theme, my mind immediately thought of a 3D platformer game jam project where the visuals and music tell a story without dialogue. The setting would be a dream bubble world inside of the main character's mind. One of my main considerations while writing this OST was the use of mallet instruments and the kalimba. To me, these instruments give off a bubbly childlike wonder that fit the image.

The first track, "A Peaceful World", represents the first stage of the game, which I pictured as a calm introduction to this dream.

The second track, "Bubble Fields", represents the second stage, now with extra bubbles! The tension is still non-existent, but the atmosphere has a fun and plucky feel to it.

The final track, "The Bubble Bursts", represents the last stage of the game, where the motifs from the previous tracks come together to mark the end of this dream. As the title implies, the bubble bursts and the main character wakes up.

How does it fit the theme?
The picture image just gave off very strong kalimba and mallet vibes, so I decided to have some fun writing parts for them. There's also a sense of whimsy and joy in the image, so I tried to capture that with a bright and positive tone for each track.

In fact, your soundtrack is well suited for playing without lyrics (I thought about it when I listened to it. After reading the description, it turned out that I was not mistaken, heh)

Thanks!

I have absolutely fallen for A Peaceful Place. It's so evocative with how you lean into the melody so uniquely with your instrument choice and volume control. Your songs definitely inspire me to better learn how to incorporate strings in my music. They're such powerful instruments, especially when used so knowledgeably. Your expertise and passion definitely shows. I'm *counting* on this making it to the eventual Apple Music album so I can enjoy it even more often while riding the train :).

writing for strings is so much fun! I've been a part of orchestras for over 10 years now, and they're my favorite section to write for.  There's a small learning curve when writing for them, especially for non -string players, but it's 130% doable!

Super relaxing, and I liked the choices you made instrumentally to match the picture! Shows very strong musical intent and helps you share your ideas more effectively :)

Well job following your instinct with the Kalimba and mallet vibes, it works really well! What you did is beautiful, I really liked your work!

I like the premise of this - I definitely get the "no text 3D platformer" vibes you explained from the prompt.

The music here is really nice! Both of the main themes are really pretty, and instrumentation and production brings up a notch to beautiful and whimsy. I also want to specifically shout out the arrangement of the last track - when that piano comes in? That's the stuff!

Great melodies and harmonies, great instrumentation, really nice aesthetic and overall, a great submission!

(Scrivo in inglese per sicurezza ma penso tu sia italiano😬)

Great job! Your compositions are beautiful and musically well-executed: both in terms of writing and mockup. Keep studying music because you have a talent for melodies and know how to write them. Keep up the good work. The three tracks are very coherent with each other. The intro is very nice, featuring both slower moments and more dynamic ones, especially with the rhythm made by pizzicatos: it reminds me a lot of a film score structure, but it fits well for an intro theme. Perhaps I would have included a more tense moment in the game for an even more dynamic piece, but otherwise, excellent work, well done!

Thank you so much! You're so right, looking back I do feel like this is missing a tense track.

Also, I'm Argentine, but my last name is super Italian haha 😃. I should learn Italian though, I think knowing English and Spanish should help a bit.

What a pretty and expertful OST. I'm super impressed, love all the percussion work, the beautiful panning of the arpeggios in Bubble Fields feels like being surrounded by bubbles. What an incredible work WOW! Do yourself a favor and go rate others and comment on their entries to gain visibility! This shouldn't have only 10 ratings!

I'll be following you everywhere, such a nice work, I wanna see more!

Those sweet bells/kalimba at very beginning of the first track really are setting the tone for this extremely cute OST. The violins line are well-thought, the music is evocative and I can easily visualize the kind of game it would be, innocent and dreamlike, great!

Really solid entry! My favorite was a peaceful place!

That was my favorite one to write too!

I absolutely love this short but sweet soundtrack! It certainly does capture the sense of wonder, mystery, and amazement that was in the original image! It all feels extremely cohesive, and is a treat to the ears as a chocolate sundae is to my tastebuds. It really tells a story, and I will probably listen to this on the regular. Amazing work!

Ahahah cute theme^^Really childish !Loved the usage of the melodic material great job here.

2nd track got some really bubble vibe with those arppegios fantastic!

Great idea for the Bursting of the bubble with that transition.

Overall really cute, maybe some anime or hisaishi vibe?

Beautiful melodies and orchestration! Love the transition into the violin lead line in 'Peaceful Place'. There's so much emotion in the the way the violin is played at the dynamic peak of the track, beautiful! Love the reoccurring motif you used throughout the soundtrack, Bubble Fields is lovely! There's a lot of heart in this soundtrack and it definitely shows in your arrangements and compositions! Well done!

Love this submission!! Excellent orchestration, I’ve got to say Bubble Fields is my favorite but honestly it’s all so good that it’s hard to pick one. It’s giving Disney in the best way. Nice work!! :D

Very creative melodies! I really like the orchestration and overall sound of the first and third tracks in particular, while the second track felt good as a more ambient piece.
