Description
A young girl is stuck in a coma due to a brain tumor. She is basically in a very long lucid dream which she can't tell is real or not. In her dream she has her stuffed animals which are mostly fish and an iconic panda hero doll she got as a gift. She also searches for her dead mother who mysteriously evades her.

It was until one episode an evil black mass started taking over and destroying her world that she must save it with the help of her friends, or she may never wake up again.

When your account is named 2LAZY... and you do an 8-track OST in a week that's amazing and beautiful on ALL damn regards. This is shooting for top jam submission on my opinion.

What a wonderful journey, thank you so much for your submission.

I'm subscribing and hopefully will hear more from you! Your orchestration is exactly what I would love mine to become one day.

I don't know I want to praise you so much, what an incredible job! Ridiculous talent.

Nice story telling! I liked the contrasts between light and luminous tracks and darker ones! Definitely a great submission!

Oh geeeez with the blank videos, I wasn't sure what to expect, but oh boy, the orchestration and writing was phenomenal! Your sense of progression throughout the soundtrack was expertly done and overall, you managed to keep the theme cohesive as well! Great job and thanks for listening too!

These were super high quality and told a cool story though I don't know how well they would work as a video game OST.

still really good of course!

This is... Wow. The entire experience feels like watching a narrative, from start to finish. Every track relates amazingly from one to another, and the orchestration adds to that movie-like feel even more. Kute The Panda packs such a punch!! In general I love the dynamic between the last 3 songs, they really tie well the entire thing with a great climax, specially The Miracle. Really nice!

The Last Dream - A Cinematic theme. Okie doke.

Goodbye - Said and painful - reminding me of Shostakovich. I wonder how/where you got the choral voices.

Kuke The Panda - Dragon Quest LET'S GOOOOO! I wonder what their moments would be the story you laid out!

After the rest of the OST:

All in all, a comfortable cinematic soundtrack with a lot of 20th century highs and lows. I'm sure there's a more specific inspiration happening here, but that's knowledge I don't have on hand. I can imagine a lot of scenes matching the shifts in music. Personally, I liked the front end of the OST better than the back end.

Jealous of your skills and time management to get all this done in a week!  Amazing job!  The instrumentation, expression, and modulations are all very beautiful and well-thought-out.

Wow! Are you sure you didn't pluck this soundtrack directly from a film? ;)

Really great work my friend! The whole thing flows so well from one track to the next, and the orchestration is just so authentic. The dynamics across the board tell a story by themselves as well. The quiet parts are effective and let the louder parts speak more definitively. Everyone could learn a lot from this!

Outside of film and the game you made it for, I got a lot of Final Fantasy 12 vibes from this as well, especially from Limbo!

And you wrote all of this in a week? Absolutely insane, congrats!!!

All of your tracks line up perfectly to the game you described. Wow. I just don't have words, this is amazing.

I actually listened to this before submissions ended - I saw you posting in the community forum and I wanted to see what an actual finished project looked like (this is my first time on itch.io), so I peeked at yours. I also listened to it and was astounded at how well put together it was - even from the screenshots alone I'm so impressed by your orchestration and how you were able to put together so much in so little time. Basically, it's shown me how much I really need to learn once I've finished my current music-making course. Thank you!

The Last Dream: wow, sets a mood well. Sounds great. The middle section has a pulse that makes it feel like the "last."

The Black Stuff That Grows: So ominous! Good use of string clusters.

Limbo: beautiful track. I am loving listening to this.  I guess limbo isn't so bad.

My Talking Fish: Wow. Very emotive. Must be quite the fish. I love how it blossoms.

Mother: What a journey! Great movement through different moods.

Kuke The Panda: Never has a panda had such fanfare. Very heroic sounding.

Goodbye: very poignant. I love the singing with the low strings.

The Miracle: fantastic finish. Love the big swells followed by the introspective end.

This is the first every I've heard and it's stunning. Shows a lot of mastery in soundtrack composition. It moves through the different moods so effortlessly. Everything makes sense but also feels fresh and inspired. I loved listening to this. Thanks for a making it. I will be listening again.
