As a binding of issaac fan i really enjoyed this!!! wish there were more levels to try out cuz this is really fun!!! also the philosophers stone(?) feels like just an straight up curse, was hoping there might be some way to reasonably finish a level and win so long as it's hitless but i was mistaken ahaha :,) great work!
ragh romania mentioned!!!!!!
game is super fun! game scales up pretty quickly and i really dig the fact that there's only certain things you can place at any given time, it's a fun challenge (similar to our game lol). I think it'd be cool if there could have been little trains going along the tracks to know how stuff is moving (nitpick I know), but something for a post jam build maychance? :)
thanks for playing! Yeh, I should have done a better job of making it more clear you can change perspectives (pressing wasd) to allow for dropping in 3d but even then it's a bit tricky haha. You're not the only one that felt it so it's something to revisit for the post jam build. Thank you for the feedback/playing!
thankyouuu!!! on second revisit i noticed I had to double click as well, but after that the game was super relaxing and chill!!! i don't mind the fact that the levels take a bit longer to progress through but if you guys end up making a post jam build with a different way to reel in fish (such as a minigame like in stardew valley) lmk because the atmosphere is unparalleled :)
This game is ADORABLE omg, the music is whismy, the art is so pretty (seriously great work on that front!!), and the premise and design makes for a super fun experience. I want to know where this bunny goes next frfr. I also found that the background was a nice touch, it helped make the grid a bit better to see and less disorientingg
A very cool spin on the theme that takes what works so great from Papers Please and adds the whole scale system. I really like it and wish I could play more but unfortunately my eyes are struggling after trying to read those IDs. If a patch ever gets made to increase the game brightness a bit more (or just the ids are a big brighter/there's a light feature for it) i'll def revisit to play all the way through. Great work on the style and vibes though! nailed it :)
The game is gorgeous, love the water and the cute lil whale you're on. I can't seem to get my line casting even though I tried every mouse button and a bunch of keys. I might be doing something wrong though.. idk if you guys experienced it before/if there's something I can try because I'd really like to give this a try i wanna make whale frend big :(
even though it was short the controls were tight, the mechanics were there, and the game felt really polished. The wall jumps felt so good it feels straight out of SMB, i can't get over how nice it feels to slide down the walls. Imo, you have all the pieces needed to make a full experience out of it, I think you should keep going! The hardest part is out of the way, now it's just building more of the levels :)
Simple premise done with a lot of style, congratz!! Got ego checked by a lot of these lol I thought I knew more about the world ahaha. Could def see this being one of those type of worldle like games that people would just do one each day.
It'd be neat if you also added the (rough) values as well after sorting, so you could see just how different the scales are.
I wish my pet produced florp when it was happy, the game is so cute and I LOVE how you made gus just a lil guy. what a lad. loved giving him head pats. Do wish the game had a bit more you could do while waiting for Gus to rest up and recover his stamina/health, or if it worked running in the background (idt it does at the moment?) [edit: realized you can click florps that he's leaving behind oops lol] either way you should feel very proud for making a middle aged salary man the cutest thing I saw today :3
The game is super cute! controls are a bit weird to get the hang of (reminds of the wii play tank game though so it's def part of the intended challenge, keep it!), and i did feel like I often died because I'd have 5 shrooms spawn surrounding me and wouldn't be able to fire fast enough to take them each out, but if that gets tweaked i can see this being a really fun game! I was wondering, do the bullets eventually get big enough to penetrate shrooms?
