Very neat concept and I love the presentation! However the controls are a bit iffy and the scaling can teleport you at times.
Managed to bug it where if I died while holding a ladder I could move around like I was on a ladder everywhere which made the level trivial.
Great puzzle ideas!!!! And super nice design overall, love the colors :D
Great idea for the theme. Overall a solid game, the visuals were good, audio was nice, controls felt pretty responsive and fluid.
The concept is definitely there. Really cool idea! But I felt like many of my inputs weren't registering. I had to press buttons 4 or 5 times before they did what I expected them to. I expected down arrow to reset the aspect ration to 1:1 every time, and sometimes it did, other times it did not. I never understood why. Movement could be tightened up, and its very easy to fall off the ladder. Overall this is an awesome concept though. You could do a lot with it!
Like the art style a lot. Cool concept also. The ladder and jumping need more testing.
kind of puzzling, but love the concept and the colors!
Good take on the concept! Would have liked a little bit of extra juice so that solving the puzzles was even more satisfying.
Cool concept! I liked your take on the changing level idea, it was fun! A bit hard to get a graps of it, but at least it was easy to work with afterward, which was nice! Congratulation for making this!
The art style is so good! The controls feel a bit finicky, though, especially when jumping.
Using the aspect raio of the game sapce is super cool, i think i kinda broke it tho while trying to resize the ladderahah now i'm stuck
Really enjoyed the concept of this one! It reminds me of a 2D superliminal. Great job!
The game is so creative, well drawn and with an amazing soundtrack to match it. You all should feel super proud for this! puzzles had me scratching my head at times :) and pips so cute :)
shoulda give the name of my game to this lol ( though not quite a good name )
really creative idea. can be expanded into a game that is better than some most rated ones!
Sad it's not so well polished and has issues in controlling or just not fluent on the web maybe orz.
Wish to see more of your works! Thanks for the treat and inspiration!
The control issues are definitely due to a lack of polish hahah thank you for the kind words!
The game is built with very creative mindset as the cover image tells enough that how well it relates to the theme. Very well managed.
Hope to see you playing my game and rate it.
I liked the idea a lot, the controls felt a bit weird and the images could have a higher quality to work with the stretching, but the game was really cool to play!
This is really smart and fits the theme super well! The platforming and movement feels pretty jank quite often especially on the ladder. The levels are still super doable, so technically it's perfectly fine. The art is simple and nice, very aesthetically pleasing. Great work guys
Really original and ingenious theme.
This is the first time I've seen a game in this jam that lets you keep the scale of one object while the rest changes, leading to really creative level design.
Really well done!
Clever twist on the ‘rescale the game itslef’ genre. Sadly a bit janky still but it has room to become a swell minigame !
If the sprites were higher res and the movement wasn't so buggy this game could have been one of my favourites of this jam. The concept is very clever. I love the art style. It reminds me of 90s tabletop games. The music is fun, the puzzles are great. I would really love to play a more polished version of this game.
I love the concept, but it could definitely use some polish, it was very frustrating to control at times, but it is a very cool idea
