Imagine a rage game where your only input is Alt+F4. Now imagine during certain times it doesn't close the game. That's Walt F4!!

https://inightfall.itch.io/walt-f4

You play as Walt and you need to Alt+F4 out of popups. If your system gets overrun with these pesky programs, the game will overload and shut off. The only input is Alt+F4. This is an idea I had proving that you can consume Alt+F4 in your games, and I want to push it further. Let me know what you think.

Oh I gotchya! xD Yeah I mean it's *supposed* to be that of an infinite idle game. I really do appreciate it!

I appreciate the kind words! I do wonder though: would people *want* to play it on Steam? hehe

I'm not too sure what you mean about it taking too much time to be tested as a jam game? Do you mean it's slow to start? If so, I agree with that, I really wish I had a little more time to balance the progression. ;-;

Thanks again for liking it! :)

This is sooooo cool! Look at that revenue! That's awesome! I'm really glad you're enjoying it! I personally would like to take this game and refine it a little bit. I'm glad you liked the concept! It really means a lot. This image is so cool! :)

Thank you very much!

I'm glad that you got the hang of it! Once you get going, and can pass that first investor week, the game gets really hectic. If you get passed the first investor week, please let me know! :)

Thank you very much! :)

Hm that's super interesting! It really wouldn't be difficult to turn those off. I would love nothing more than to turn this into an infinite "clicker" game! Maybe some day.

As always, it's got that Hot_Shack charm to it! ;) I recommend checking out my VOD. It was overall had me intrigued! I would love to see a little more consistency with the gameplay, or rather utilizing that clone feature a little more all throughout the game! Overall it was a fun time! Thanks for the game, keep it up! :)

It's a really cool concept! I think adding a little bit of progression with collecting the coins would go a really long way! I very much like the direction of the game, and think it's a good idea! Also making the dark world a little brighter would be nice! I collected all 44! B)

A very good starting point for your game! I think building on what you have a adding some progression to the game would be great. I'm glad to see that you have animations and feedbacks for some of your actions. I also like the theming of the characters Keep up the great development! :)

This is a nice little game for being one of your first ever games!

I recommend trying out varying apple types, and making the money have a little more purpose! Play around with some ways of getting the experience to change slightly to spice up the gameplay. Also don't let the player hold the button down to spam the inputs.

This is a very nice game! Keep it up! :)

This game is mad awesome! I very much enjoyed playing it! The game has story, it has love, it has laughs, it has some super solid satisfying gameplay and progression! I honestly have nothing negative to say about the game, because it was amazing! (Except for ONE bug I found where I was cheesing the game and was able to despawn a node into the abyss)

Thanks for the amazing game and a very inspiring experience!

This game was a very enjoyable play! I was playing it live and every victory felt super satisfying! Honestly I really want to go back and speedrun it! The art was lovely too!

After playing, I learned the controls seemed much better on M&K, which made me want to try again with it. ;) The controller support needs a little bit more love. Other than that, I would honestly say it's a fantastic puzzle/platformer which can TOOOOTALLY reward the player for moving fast!

If you were to make updates to the game, I would personally be interested in the speedrunning aspects.

Thanks for the great experience!

The game was very enjoyable! I thought the combat was pretty solid and I enjoyed traversing the dungeon. I'm also a sucker for the player's power level growing and retrying!

The art is great, and the gameplay felt pretty polished! I would say the only feedbacks I would give are a few updates to how you convey the collectibles and what you can do with them, as well as a few more minor quality of life control/feedback tweaks!

Overall great game!

I was able to get pretty far (I think) by riding the sides. You need to set your sprites to Point filtering by the way so they don't appear fuzzy. I thought the theme was very interesting!

Aww, thank you very much! Yeah, if we had more time I would've totally added a tutorial! Hopefully next time? ;)

Definitely! I'll check it out during the week next week and throw up some feedbacks!

Yeah, the game is VERY fast-paced; the enemies are quick, but that's intentional; zainy foods! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Absolutely! I'm going to be trying out people's games during the week!

I guess I personally havent tested lately, but I thiiiink arrow keys should work? Ill have to check that again. Heh

I didn't think about z and x for some reason! Ill make a mental note! (Also it's worth mentioning that left and right shift should both trigger the same attack)

Thanks again for playing! :)

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you ended up having a good experience!

If I may ask, what keyboard controls would you have liked to see? I'm genuinely curious. :)

We made sure to invest at least 60% of our time in our tomato-slapping logic. B)

That's fantastic! I'm glad you're enjoying it!

This is fantastic feedback! Thank you very much for your kind words! :)
