i said "woah" out loud when the game un-zoomed with muffled music, really cool ! i might be a bit clumsy with the controls so i kept dying a lot ๐Ÿ˜† but the game was very enjoyable, the music is especially impressive as well, which software did you use to make it ?

good luck in the jam!

very  impressive entry ! it is such a polished card game, managed to reach wave 5 :) the art is stunning, really cool job !

this entry made me very happy honestly ๐Ÿ˜ญ instant smile hearing the music and seeing the art

hi !

i really enjoyed your entry and thought it was fitting the limitation very well ! just for polishing remarks : maybe adding a background music and reducing the sounds effects volume could have been nice ! It reminded me of Vampire Survivors a bit and it feels very addicting, would love to see an extended version of this <3

nice concept. maybe using the keys for the movements could be a bit more intuitive in my opinion  : i couldn't go past level 2 as it was making me spawn back at the entry as well. presentation looks very nice!

๐Ÿ˜ญ Woah, that is such a positive feedback : sincerely appreciate it thank you ! glad you enjoyed the music as well, i think you are the first one commenting on it <3

Enjoy the jam !!

Oh my god Ardos, sorry for the delay of my answer ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ Coming from you, the compliments on the art means a lot โœจ

For the gameplay, I honestly have no idea how to implement it but I agree that this approach would definitely look better ๐Ÿ˜ญ  Gotta look into it and test around how to add a jump buffer depending on the crouching time ! It would definitely be more clean, time to look around how to do that aha

Yeah for the sounds effects we put a jump one and flag one at the end of each level but maybe the sound wasn't high enough aha

maybe a final win screen with an epic congratulation sounds would have been nice too ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Thank you for the feedback, a cool game for an epic gamer like you ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž Can't wait to play your future games !!

Thank you so much, means a lot !

Glad you enjoyed the game & congratulations on finishing the last level ๐Ÿ† ! Really appreciate the kind feedback, enjoy the jam !

Thank you so much for your kind words ! I am really glad you like the art and concept ๐Ÿ˜ญ

You are absolutely right, the timing at the beginning of the levels were definitely a bit too fast : we pushed a new version this morning that should be better on that side. The levels don't restart automatically anymore and a jump buffer has been added.

Have a nice jam!

(1 edit)

thanks for your feedback. we pushed a new version this morning that should make levels more playable.

oh no sir tatassticot, sorry to hear about the troubles ! there is definitely a lot to be fixed in this very very early version of the game : your feedback always helps so much as always !

๐Ÿ˜Ž you were super early so we were not able to trouble-shoot everything yet, but super flattered to see that you are always AU RENDEZ-VOUS dรจs le matin as we say

Enjoy your week too ! ๐Ÿ‘‹ Definitely not giving up on gamedev anytime soon !

๐Ÿค thank you hardcore gamer aha, let us start our steam project soon !

๐Ÿ˜ญ Woah, was not expecting another comment on this game after all this time ! Thank you so much for your kind words & encouragements, the game definitely could use some improvements but im genuinely happy you enjoyed it!

all those kind comments really helps when it comes to motivation, always love to read them all ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ THANKS AGAIN !!

๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ—ฟ indeed paja

ahh sir you're way too kind as always, you never fail to be there to be the earliest tester as always ๐Ÿ˜ญ YOU'RE KILLING ME WITH ALL THIS SWEETNESS, thank you : i still think it could be better but those long messages always motivate me to aim for better

much luv

Thank you so much Ardos as always for your encouragements ๐Ÿ˜ญ especially the compliments on the presentation, coming from you it means a lot !

yes unfortunately the gameplay wasn't as clear as we imagined, definitely a lesson learnt from next time but im super glad you still enjoyed it despite the clumsy aspect of it !

the little comments are always motivating so much to start another jam month after month, definitely not giving up on those ! ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ thanks again !!

ayy thanks captain !

๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)

cool game! i think it really deserves more attention, concept, presentation & soudtracks were all very solid

Interesting entry, the winning animation is lovely!  :)

I took a bit of time to understand the mechanics, maybe an additional tutorial with movements demonstrated could help the players. The jazzy music was fire honestly, I loved it!

I noticed this on level 3, I don't know if it's a bug, I'll just post it just in case!

Cool entry, good luck in the Jam!

rEELy creative use of the limitation ! I have a lot of respect for 8pico games, they don't look easy to make, but are always very fun to play :) The art is super cool as well and the music will definitely get stuck in my mind for the rest of the evening lol

Best of luck on the jam !

I genuinely had a lot of fun with this game, I think it is the first time that I see this type of quizz in a mini-game during a jam and i loved it : my best score was 7.

the art and overall visual/sounds effects are well made ! This is really impressive for a first project, let alone a first jam !

Keep up the amazing work !!

the game is really polished and felt smooth to play, this is one of the best entries of this jam!

just a personal preference but the chromatic aberration effect as the timer gets closer to its end hurt my eyes a bit ! but super solid entry overall, very cool game

NO WAY ?! the long awaited review from one of the TNT members ?! I couldn't be happier to see this comment and HOW POSITIVE IT IS ! im glad you liked the shade of blue, it is absolutely a color picked randomly, as you can imagine

Thank you again for this detailled review siiir !

def restart_brain():

print("Restarting brain..."

time.sleep(2

# Simulating a pause for effect

print("Brain restarted successfully!")

Hopefully this helped with the brain restart, thank you so much for the feedback, kind sir !! I am glad you related as much as a fellow introvert! The TV background remark made me laugh, not gonna lie LMAO !! And yes, the diagonal piece was the key all along to finish the game!

Thank you again for the PACKED comment, always a pleasure to read and never fails to make me smile !

๐Ÿ˜ญ Yes, the puzzle part definitely has an issue : the more feedback we get, the more we realize it... I'm glad you enjoyed the story & soundtrack part!

Glad you liked the art & story ! Apologies for the unclear gameplay :( I would love to make an 1.1 version that could make the puzzles more readable

Glad you found the game cozy, it is totally the vibes I was going for!

Thank you for the solution, I have to admit I really wanted to keep the faces of the characters so this suggestion seems doable to me.I would love to make the "board" more readable as well like in your picture, instead of simple squares. It will definitely be more clear that way, maybe as an update after the jam! thanks!

Thank you, it means a lot !

Congratulations on finishing the game ! ๐Ÿ†

The image that you sent with your feedback is actually so helpful : we are aware that the shapes of the neurons aren't the best but we weren't sure how to make it easier to read :( Your idea helps a lot ! I will try to implement it !!

Thank you so much ! :)

Interesting concept,  the design of the character reminds me of Hollow Knight !

Took me a while to understand the mecanics but once i got used to it the gameplay felt super smooth. I really admire people doing 3D games during jams, it seems far from easy

Just a small feedback, If you fall on the right side after getting the "planet" item, you will fall without stopping

Nice entry, good luck on the jam !

I wasn't really able to grasp the point of the game, but the game mecanics seemed like the beginning of something that could be nteresting ! Maybe making the instructions in English could help non-spanish speaking  person to understand the game better !

Good luck on the jam

The pixel-art is super cool in this entry, i love the detail of the signature  at the beginning of the game! There are so many various mini-games that were made in such a short of time : it is really impressive ! My mouse wasn't detected for some of the switches during one of the mini-game, but it is probably a problem on my end

really nice game, good luck for the jam !

Thanks!

Woah, that is such a sweet feeback thank you so much ! I am trying to make more and more progress on my music tracks so I'm really glad you enjoyed it ! We were in a bit of a rush for the levels, sorry about that

Thank you so much for the detailled feedback ! Your compliments on the art + music really means a lot.

I completely agree on the dialogues being too fast, I unfortunately (and my teamate either) couldn't find how to skip a dialogue with player input : but I will look into it ! For the neurons shapes, I think it was my bad for trying to make them more "stylized", it ended up being confusing shape wise. Definitely a lesson learnt here! Might make a 1.1 with pixel-art illustrations instead.

Super grateful for your input, thanks again!

Really cool concept ! I could definitely see this being on Steam as a longer game. Maybe a nice additional detail would be the position of the player moving on the map as he is advancing !

Nice entry, good luck on the jam

I absolutely love the pixel art in this entry the little thunder character is just too adorable ! the animations are so smooth ! The concept is pretty clear and the level-design really is creative : super inspiring entry !

I am a bit curious to know how you made the voice-lines : was it recorded and high-pitched in audacity ?  The sound effects on the level selection sounded like a ice-cube as well, really cool !

This is such an impressive work for one person to do during one jam ! Congratulations ! I absolutely loved the design of the fishes and whales, it was just absolutely too adorable and funny as well. The overall graphics reminds me of some Nintendo 64 games and has such a cozy vibe to it : it was absolutely lovely to play <3 Really made me want even more to give a try to Blender, amazing entry !!
