hi ! the game is really unique especially control wise, i really like the overall atmosphere, and the art in general is really smooth when it comes to animations
the controls are original and maybe a bit confusing at first because of that, but overall very solid entry for a week-end jam ! <3
Rules were complex and catching prey was hard (I did not manage T-T), but it was already enjoyable walking around and collecting coins on itself. The coin flip was also fun to watch! I also like the day-night transition. I think it is a symbol of a nice design when players (clumsy like me ^ ^) who don't manage to grasp some parts to find other parts enjoyable!
Very fun game. I really like the music and color transitions between day and night! The control scheme threw me off at first but once I got the hang of it, I really enjoyed sneaking up on other animals. I noticed you have some gaps appearing between your terrain tiles when you move and you are using Unity. You might want to try creating a Sprite Atlas for all of your tile sprites because it should resolve that issue (at least is has for me in the past). Great job!
I wasn't able to make heads or tails of it (ha), but I like the concept and running around chasing stuff. I couldn't get the youtube tutorial to come up, but I think it's cool that you made one for it!
First of all, Incredible cutscene. The controls are very interesting and challenging to learn in a good way. What blew my mind was curling up the fox to have it rest, it simple yet well executed, the zooming in while charging up the dash made it a bit hard to aim, but it wasn't a big deal. I encountered some bugs that didn't make it as enjoyable as it should've been to play, so I had to refresh the page quite a few times (my fox got quartered while catching a mouse, then I couldn't drop anything i caught). The lack of a hud doesn't feel out of place, but I wouldn't have disliked it.
Overall it was a nice time, great game!
Hii! thxx a lot for the feedback I couldnt miss the opportunity for the curling mechanic hehe, I did enconter those bugs during playtests specially the rat one wich was super confusing but I didnt had enough time for debbuging :/
And there's actually a hud but itch set whatever resolution it wanted and I forgot to change a small setting in the canvas XD
This game is very fun and interesting. I've never seen a control scheme like it before. It is very hard though, every time I dashed, it felt like I stopped right before I could catch the prey. Still, the game is a lot of fun. Also, the opening cutscene was absolute cinema.
This is such a unique premise for the game and a cool control scheme. The wizard is really charging a lot of interest! XD
One thing that I would like is the ability to back out to the main menu from in game or at least view the tutorial in game so I can look back on what I had to do rather than refreshing the tab. Great job though!
movement was smooth. Liked the environment and concept for this one. Good submission!!
