Is there a jump mechanic? I'm pretty sure I tried spacebar and other buttons to try to jump up but couldn't get either character to the top teleporter. Lemme know and I'll give it another shot later!

That's why I was trying to press e on each of the characters next to each other. I was guessing, maybe the big robot throws the little guy or something?

Nah I don't think it should be a bug then! It's a whole new form of complexity right there! If one of the core mechanics is already window management, then having multiple windows open is a key awesome part of that mechanic! Maybe even controlling multiple guys at once, maybe not, but when it happened I was like oh HELL yeah!

Hey Iceluke, first off don't worry, I don't rate games that don't run for me.

Second, it was just a blank grey screen, not even showing a framework logo (like unity or Godot). No errors in the browser console either.

I switched off Brave's various shield functions as well to double check.

Very fun, a bit tricky to play on a laptop with a trackpad, couldn't figure out how to rotate pieces for example. I like how the oil is rising though as you play! Probably a lot more fun with true m+kb.

IMO there's just room to grow on that front - maybe trying to play along the pan pipe prodigy, but if you built a messed up pipe then it's harder or something?

This game has serious potential, so far one of the best I've played this jam. You've accomplished a lot for the jam but I think what's important is you have the bones here now for a really fun game when more fleshed out. Just some ideas off the top of my head from similar games, it would be interesting if there's some type of elements that resize differently compared to other ones, highlighted with a unique color or texture. The player's all cozy playing the game and then ooooh shiiii this block doesn't change the same way! An exciting new challenge. Also it would be funny if you resize in a way that squishes the guy, he gets squished and you gotta restart, so you have to be a bit more careful.

I think the most important thing is to find a way to make the window resize mechanic fully keyboard / controller compatible, so not just resizing by mouse. Maybe you can find some inspiration from window managers like i3wm or popOS shell? Resizing windows is a very solved problem in linux desktop environments / window managers and so you could find some interesting resize mechanics there.

I'm not sure if it was a bug but I had multiple windows open for multiple levels at once which I really enjoyed, there's some seriously sick complexity you could integrate there. Imagine if there was also a mechanic to move windows around and jump between them!

Never managed to load it in brave browser, left it running for 10 minutes.

One of the more interesting games I've seen this game jam! I'd love to see this mechanic developed more, and I liked the Atari 2600 graphics style. I was often really unclear about what doors do what, so never got past level 4 iirc despite spending a good few minutes on it, but from what I played I think this has bones.

The music and the art were very pretty! However it was really difficult for me to understand what was happening since the fonts were all quite small and low contrast. I was never quite clear on what was happening so I just slid the slider around a bit and watched the plants grow / die while enjoying the music.

There's an interesting concept here for sure. I thought i was moving an equalizer around so it would have been cool if that affected the music or had some verbal cues. It was pretty easy since I guess the skateboard has pretty high friction so I didn't have to worry about the chicken sliding back and forth. I thought the design elements were a bit disparate, like, a chicken, a skateboard, idk what that stuff was flying around but sometimes it was a mosquito or a bird? And then the really dope smooth hip / classical music with an LCD background. Could use a bit more cohesion.

Welp I tried to figure it out for a few minutes but gave up. Put the little guy in the teleporter, nothing happened, pressed e a bunch, moved him around the teleporter pressing e, brought the big robot over, more e, tried using the robot guy and pressing e on the little guy, using the little guy and pressing e on the robot, restarting and refreshing in case I was in a bugged state, but I basically never even started the first level I guess lol.

Interesting idea. I didn't really get at first that blue blocks aren't climeable and green blocks are. I was also never sure when I was about to run out of blocks. The bugs with the tetris physics were really frustrating - blocks getting stuck on top of eachother when they're touching the edge by just 1 pixel. I think there's a fun game here though once refined!

Very interesting, however I was very unclear on how to create connections between concepts, clear them, or in general what the goal was. I enjoyed reading the dialogue and exploring the words. Dragging them all the way to the bottom left of the screen was tedious though, would have been nice to be able to just double click.

Very interesting idea and I like how it fit with the theme! I found the controls to be a bit awkward, I never understood the "x/y axis" instructions, and I found the gameplay too slow to keep me interested. Perhaps I just didn't understand it well enough.

wouldn't run in brave browser

Great effort! I didn't understand the point of the weapons, and the obstacles were all trivially easy to dodge.

Interesting! A little tricky until you realize fullscreen is required.

I loved when it hit me with the qwertyui and i could play my f'd up pipes

The premise is amazing, I'm hype to see what a longer version could look like.
