Very interesting game. I actually had a blast playing it. It could do with some more work and features, but for just 96 hours this was very fun to play. I hope you keep at it and turn this into a full fledged game because I really think it could do well! Great work!

Really creative and relaxing. Well done !

Very unique and creative idea. It maybe would have been more interesting to have a couple more parameters to play around with, although it's still a nice ecosystem simulation that you made in a couple days. I like how the scales are vastly different but still feel connected, like seeing the shadows of the clouds on your garden. Very chill game, good job.

I like how chill this felt, but I kept feeling like there wasn't much for me to do but watch and maybe react a bit here and there. The aesthetics are gorgeous and this is one of the more creative entries in the jam I think!

This looks absolutely gorgeous, and I love the aesthetic you're going for! I think a tutorial would have really helped out here.

The whole vibe is so good, made me think of the aesthetic of Loop Hero.

Developer

I was heavily inspired by their artist when I was making art for this game.

Loved the idea and the art.

I think it could've have some tooltips or simillar to better explain the effects of each actions.

Super uniqu idea and execution! But also very confusing. If you intended to make it cozy I wish there wasn't a slider to make it fast, because I just grew impatient and cranked it up and everything died and regrew without me having much power over it.
Also in contrast to an earlier commenter, I kinda wish there was LESS of a goal, so I could just enjoy ecosystems evolve and have a little more agency over it to make it my own (compare xkcd 1663).

But yeah, iterate on it and I think you have something very cool on your hands!

The music and the art were very pretty! However it was really difficult for me to understand what was happening since the fonts were all quite small and low contrast. I was never quite clear on what was happening so I just slid the slider around a bit and watched the plants grow / die while enjoying the music.

Developer

That is the intended experience! Glad you enjoyed it!

good submission

especially the thought idea

Is there just some kind of ending missing? Or is there one I just haven't gotten to?

Developer

Thank you!

No ending, and that’s partially the message! Though I wish there was an extra hour or two to add a highscore system and maybe scale systems with it — kind of how Tetris speeds up over time.

Very chill, but I wish there was more of a goal.

Developer

One of the intended mechanics was a poker-like combo scoring for keeping a bunch of different plants alive! Unfortunately, in the last hour of the jam we only had time to display the plants planted counter. :’)

Really cozy and relaxing, I enjoyed this one a lot! Also super pretty art

Very pretty game and very unique take on 'scales' and balance. Good quality art and nice calming music.

this game is SO beautiful, I would seriously love to have it printed out and hung on my walls. I just can't stop admiring it.

This was super cool to just vibe to! Tons of style points!
