Funny twist on tetris

Nice concept, it would be nice if the blocks had more intuitive visuals, like the blue one having some animated texture as if it was just air. Also a counter to see how many pieces are left to fall. Congrats on finishing your first game!

I liked it, very creative twist on tetris. I would have liked to see a key for the block types in the game UI itself. Not having the blocks align to the grid was frustrating but also added to the challenge.

This was a fun game to play

First of all Louie is def the sexiest. The camera didn't follow me all the way on the tall level. I loved your take on the theme! Seriously good stuff :3

I really like the idea, you fit the theme very well! I thought the game was pretty hard, and I encountered a bug, where on the really tall level the camera would not follow me all the way up, and I could not see the blocks above me, and thus not finish the level. The animations were a little buggy, especially on the yellow blocks, and I would love to see a feature where the next block is shown on the side, as when i would get to the top sometimes i would just lose because a block instantly placed and I didnt know which one it would be.

Cool little game, it was a very creative take on the theme. Some of the game design was a bit lacking though, something I would change is not having a random order for the block spawning but having the same one every time. It would enable you to design way more interesting and thought provoking levels. And maybe make the blocks snap to a grid so they are easier to control. For a first game this is really good though!

Thank you! I agree the random order can cause a level to be unwinnable which is annoying. And for the grid snapping, we had tried that but couldn't figure out a way to make the blocks not teleport into each other so we gave up

yeah, the time constraint game jams give sometimes force you to cut some stuff if you can't get it to work. And for a first game you guys got a lot of content in!

Interesting idea. I didn't really get at first that blue blocks aren't climeable and green blocks are. I was also never sure when I was about to run out of blocks. The bugs with the tetris physics were really frustrating - blocks getting stuck on top of eachother when they're touching the edge by just 1 pixel. I think there's a fun game here though once refined!

Yeah the game could have benefitted from a better explanation of how the blocks work and maybe even a tutorial. We had quite a bit of trouble even just getting the blocks to work normally but they could use more work. I'm glad you think its interesting tho!

Pretty fun. I wish it had better tetris physics though,

God this game is so difficult, but I love it so much. Also, I'm a big fan of you on youtube <3.

Cool idea, i would just like to have that legend in the game to know what each block does, so i dont need to constantly look in game description.

Thank you! We were going to add a legend but it was too late I think.

Very cool idea!

I enjoyed playing it and i think that that you interpreted the theme very nicely. But i felt like the difficulty was higher at the start because of the limited blocks and fell when more where introduced.

Great fit for the theme! Would be great to have in-game tutorials
