Veeeery cute; love the fact that I can give Neuro diabetes in the end

Good job on the contribution! Nice concept, there needs to be waay more time invested on testing and polishing and maximizing the fun of it, the pinball aspect didn't feel fun enough to me and I sadly can't really put into words why; the visuals are very rough too. I am probably biased because I checked out the other pinball game in this jam first '':D
seeing a cooking simulator in this jam is so cool! lots of work was put into the game, a first place would be very much deserved <3
the tutorial could use a bit more refining, my issue was that I f.e. didn't yet finish to cut a fruit or accidentally ran past an item and the tutorial immediately skipped to the next step, confusing me a bit.
Awesome as usual :) I could argue that the game fits to the theme with how in the end some sort artefact from the past from this timeline was needed to save the other timeline.
The spot where I needed to go back home was not very intuitive, because I was certain that the description that the philosophers gave fits perfectly to Neuro :D
Hope Vedal gets to play it on stream <3
edit: I wish there was a different thumbnail that would fit your usual style so that people pay more attention to the game; I believe you can still edit stuff like screenshots and thumbnail even after the deadline 👍
CINEMA
Anny's and Vedal's cars didn't move for me, is it normal? :'D It ended up feeling like they just chilled by the finish line and let her win, classic parents. Loved the neuro soundeffects. I really wish the map would be more detailed though, I don't understand the logic behind the collisions.
These controls though............... But I think I got the hang of it by the third lap, wish there'd be more levels to play :3
That's a very interesting idea and and the motivation behind the game is valid and important; I enjoyed reading the description and the postmortem.
The game itself feels rough around the edges and ends up being very preachy, like the fun part of the game was left out and it just ends up listing a bunch of things :'D But I can imagine how fun would be if the player couldn't as obviously differentiate between the heavy topics and the light-hearted topics, and would have to think for themselves how risky or inappropriate each topic is (it almost feels like the Impact and the Risk values weren't intended to be visible to the player).
And because those are formatted as cards, and not just faceless chat messages, it would probably be fun to add little drawings on these cards, visualizing the ideas, especially if on heavy topics it would show Neuro herself being part of the topics too lightheartedly, if that makes sense, f.e. depicting her being cute while she blackmails people in a cyberpunk world.
Another format I thought of that would be fun for the concept would be if the player got to see a classic fast-going chat full of ideas, and the player plays as Neuro having to pick out messages quickly to gather ideas, but those controversial ideas disguise themselves as light-hearted ideas, and you end up clicking on them without thinking it through and because of that risk losing viewers.
AI pictures could be a good source of knowledge in terms of f.e. composition and use of color, but AI still messes up a lot of details or nuances about architecture, furniture and other details, as well as the consistency of lights and shadows, so I definitely don't recommend studying them directly.
If you want to learn creating beautiful anime / visual novel backgrounds, I recommend studying backgrounds of existing animes and visual novels (for me these were Nichijou and Clannad), as well as artists like しおん - https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/14707888 or _LM7_ - https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/420928
For the AI backgrounds in this post, I recommend to exclusively use them as a) draft backgrounds while developing a visual novel to then later replace with actual custom backgrounds; b) as finished assets in context that welcomes AI assets to be used, or c) as basis for rich thorough overpainting to take them as a sort of sketch and transform them into something that doesn't have any of the dumb AI artifacts and visual glitches and actually shows your own unique artstyle.
Thanks! Sounds reasonable... I'll consider doing that anytime in the future and updating the existing files, just because it shouldn't take long and I'm personally curious about how much impact it would have on her visuals. Let me know if you plan to use this character in your project so I know if I should do it until some specific deadline :D
