Does your game contain AI-generated content?
No AI content. I did ask ChatGPT to proofread the cards to make sure there's nothing too spicy.
How does your game fit/incorporate the theme of the game jam?
This game is about reviewing games that fit the game jam theme, so it's full of ideas that fit the theme.
Furthermore, from a more meta point of view, the game is trying to question what remains of political discourses and ideologies in a capitalist realist dystopia that has become extremely apolitical after the End of History.

Simple, but quite fun game! Not sure if there were any meta games other than this game, pretty creative. Good job!
thanks for giving it a shot! I didn't see any game as meta as this but I haven't tried them all yet
Cute game, is funny to test your luck
I definitely not tryed to smash space bar thinking it would stop the bar or something
Thank you for making it.
I enjoyed it.
Thanks for trying it out! I did want to make it work with player input but I didn't have time ^^'
I have terrible luck but it was fun !
Thanks for trying it out! If it makes you feel any better I also had terrible luck on all my test runs XD
Could possibly be a little controversial for some players, but I believe the game is fine as is.
It plays fine and was pretty fun. I got over 10k viewers and then got a chain of very bad luck :(
Thanks a lot for playing! I've never made it over 10k so congrats xD
audio is cute!easy and fun game!
thanks for giving it a try!
Nice concept. Funny to handle a game jam in a game for a game jam
thanks for giving it a shot! I'm pretty glad I'm not the one who has to do moderation live on stream xD
Game jam in a game jam, hmm. Nice cover and classic nwero SFX! Enjoyed it.
Thanks for playing! The cover art is from my amazing friend Mirukyu who didnt have the time to participate in the jam any more than this!
filtered.
(really funny game, great use of sound effects!)
thanks for playing!
A great twist on the whole game jam at the meta level! Really fun, and has fitting audio choices.
It’s also very interesting how it tries to balance between being lighthearted and thought-provoking at the same time. Reading your postmortem, I see you have opinions about the world, it would be nice to see them in a fully fledged game.
Hehe thanks for playing and reading! And commenting, I was worried about audio level, not having had time to add audio settings! Finding a balance between light and serious was my main priority and concern with this, so I'm also glad you picked up on it!
Very good idea and nice execution. I like how you made it so similar to the real site.
thanks for playing!
interesting idea! there aren't many interactions and effects but i enjoyed deciding what to filter and what not to, weighing the risks for viewer count. good job!
thanks for giving it a shot! Yeah I kinda ended up doing it without game engine, that was probably a mistake xD
Let's go gambling!
Yeah I definitely played this like a slot machine lol. I think changing the reward/punishment amounts and biasing the viewer total to decrease more over time to encourage faster decision-making might be cool, but the concept is interesting! W
Thanks for trying it out! I definitely think of it as a slot machine too, didn't have time to come up with a satisfactory "resource balancing" mechanism a la Reigns. I like your ideas! I think the total viewer count is actually already slightly biased towards going down over time but it's extremely slow.
I like the meta take on theme! The game itself was fun, I managed to get 8k viewers by gambling every round haha! I love the voice line choices!
Thanks for giving it a shot! I didn't want my opinions to influence outcomes so it's pure random, but I did calibrate it so that positive outcomes outweigh negatives slightly ^^ I have rarely done as well as 8k in my testing lol congrats!
I thought the idea of filtering jam games is pretty meta and neat haha, also enjoyed the swiping and risk management mechanics!
thanks for checking it out! I think the whole "risk management" needs a bit more depth but it's probably enough for a 5 minutes playtime ^^ I didnt have time to start playing games yet, I'll start now with yours!
That was nice! Makes you think about all the things a streamer gotta think about to play smth to their viewers
Thanks for playing! Streamers have to navigate all that in real time, I could never do that xD
That's a very interesting idea and and the motivation behind the game is valid and important; I enjoyed reading the description and the postmortem.
The game itself feels rough around the edges and ends up being very preachy, like the fun part of the game was left out and it just ends up listing a bunch of things :'D But I can imagine how fun would be if the player couldn't as obviously differentiate between the heavy topics and the light-hearted topics, and would have to think for themselves how risky or inappropriate each topic is (it almost feels like the Impact and the Risk values weren't intended to be visible to the player).
And because those are formatted as cards, and not just faceless chat messages, it would probably be fun to add little drawings on these cards, visualizing the ideas, especially if on heavy topics it would show Neuro herself being part of the topics too lightheartedly, if that makes sense, f.e. depicting her being cute while she blackmails people in a cyberpunk world.
Another format I thought of that would be fun for the concept would be if the player got to see a classic fast-going chat full of ideas, and the player plays as Neuro having to pick out messages quickly to gather ideas, but those controversial ideas disguise themselves as light-hearted ideas, and you end up clicking on them without thinking it through and because of that risk losing viewers.
Thanks a lot for checking it out and reading my stuff! I agree with you wholeheartedly, I think this is lacking on the "game design"/"game mechanics" side of things. I haven't done that many game jams, but one thing that I've noticed is that it's pretty hard to do some playtesting and iterations (at least for me) on such a short time scale, which is a shame really. I tried a version where you had to balance the will of different stakeholders, but in the end I decided against it because it felt like I shouldnt be the one to decide which stakeholders matter xD
Card art would have been awesome but I am really bad at it and since I had a pretty hectic schedule I didn't want to find teammates if I wasn't sure I could finish the project. I'm just pretty proud to have reached the finish line XD I really wanted to do some chat integration stuff but I scrapped that for time ^^
Thanks again for trying it out and I'm excited to play yours!
Interesting...
Thanks for trying it out! Glad you found it interesting
