Any incorrect language/grammar I've used, say here and I'll update it (the pesky ' ş, ă â ţ ')

Any bugs you find, chuck them here and I'll hunt them down for you

Quite enjoy waking up doing a bit of math! it's puzzly although I find a lot fo the time using + and - is just easiest (or even ptuting in the number themselves works! (i feel like should have to do a formula)

What can you suggest? (which bit is feeling off?)

Oh bugger I see what you mean, wait I goofed and forgot to turn off a bool

This would be a great little multiplayer game!

The art style is cute

The puzzles are interesting! I really like the idea of choosing your own exit which can kind of make it your own puzzle.

Wouldn't say no to having the timer so you get a few seconds grace to see the level and think before that score plummets though

*Agent Her007n has arrived*

really feels like those herons have laser sight. I croak they swarm T_T my poor froggo.

apart from that good bit of fun, definitely give the player some grace space as if you can see the heron so can it and they will ALL go for you

1. I'm loving the neon retro art (show me how you did it plzplz, especially how you got the colours around the edges. did you just paint the whole thing and import it as a single sprite?)

2. Straightforward and easy to play. levels were intuitive (nice design!)

3. The movement could be a little smoother especially if you're going for 'threading the needle' style puzzles which need accuracy, found that A/D especially was really tricky to get exactly into the right spot

mm, might change it so can hold it for a roll (new ability ooh) because the idea of the nudge is just a small adjustment, (I'm gonna have to adjust it so can nudge W/D and keep with sticky, hmm another ability, thanks for the insight!)

only Space, if you look at the controls below. also tells you when you unlock new abilities :P

Yeah i had that bug once, so thats what's causing it (probably). I'll get my bug spray out

The visuals are great, loving the frazzled view for the 'monster' and its really simple to play through!

I imagine with the warning you give with the game is eventually the recipe book will disappear?

about that what is your discord?

got ~2 years xp in Unity so I know my way around a good amount

I'd be up to join (2nd unity programmer)

(1 edit)

Hello there, I'm looking to either join a 2D team OR
Find an artist to do a game together :D

Drop me a message here or on my Discord: Son#5637

the ones for the demo yes., the rest I'm doing some daily doodles to get a better picture of

I'm looking for an artist who'd want to help me make my game. It's a cosy 16bit game with a very occult/gothic overtone.

Current Team and Progress:

I’m solo on the project at the moment and I’ve already developed ~60/70% of the mechanics. Aiming to release an alpha demo in ~4 weeks to start getting interest/start a kickstarter/expand the team further, basically get the game off the ground.

What I’m Looking For:

  • Pixel Artist: Someone who can make/find/adjust the art (16bit, SDV style); here's a list of what I'm looking for in the demo (and then to hopefully work with me beyond it)

    Details :
    -x4-6 Character sprites & animations
        -portraits (neutral, happy, angry)
        -walk anims (4 directional)
        -shock anim
-x4 casting anims (for player only)
    -x5 buildings
    -x2 tilesets (indoor & outdoor)
    -x2 Animals sprite & anims
         -walk anim
         -shock anim
-x4 Crop anims (the 'shiver' when you move through them/hit them)
-Generic world items & icons  (wood, stone, trees, crops, grass, animal products, environmental (like street lamps), craftable items) [most of this I have a version of but would be nice to have it all be the same style]
    -UI

Compensation:

The goal is to launch the full game on platforms like Steam, with revenue-sharing once the game is completed/%age of any funding obtained.

Contact Information:

If you’re interested in joining the project or want to learn more, please feel free to reach out to me via Discord: #Son5637

I feel like that one bird 'Man I am bad at math'. got squished so much

As long as you don't fight around earth it's perfectly good. if not you shoot up earth like there's no tomorrow

Cute idea for a multiplayer,  the art is top notch

I'm looking for a team (Developer) and well, artist + developer + sound...  sounds like a good combo.

I'd totally be up to join, if you have a peek at my games you see i've got a mix of 3D and 2D that I program

Hey I'm putting together a team and I'd love a music person :D

gotta split it by slice. so 15 teammates here we go

PERFECT. have you got a discord?

tbh I 'm reading up on it (as was made by me teammate), it's supposed to be an A* pathfinder but no idea why they stop outta range

The AI is supposed to be using an A* pathfinder but the FSM for it is completely forked.

Simply adorable

Fun(the neon graphics are great too)! but christ what is that lag!?

thanks. much to improve though

Well I could always use a sound person! good sounds make a spooky game afterall

sure! whats your style of music?

Looking to do a few game jams to add to my portfolio and with a team which covers all the bases (art, animation, environment, music)

Posting to see who is up for working in a team :D.
Mainly programmer but do modelling/animation/art/music on the side (so looking for people more specialised in those areas)

Space sickness simulator, noice!
