Thanks! This was my very first game (:

it's intentional. This was made for a the 'So bad it's good' game jam, so we intentionally made bad input mechanics

Sound effects were great! Gun play felt satisfying, I liked the detail to the weapon sway as you strafed. There were times where I felt like I was walking very slowly for a long time with nothing to shoot at, so it would have been nice to have a section where you're getting swarmed or after the ducks are introduced, they are constantly a threat with more spaced out wolf spawns.

I got significant lag when new events happened for the first time while playing in browser (first time shooting pistol, ducks spawn in, etc), but that could just be a browser problem.

Other than that, it's a solid game with no glaring issues. Definitely  so bad it's good!

Thanks for the feedback! We wanted to move the corpses in some sort of way to prevent massive pile ups, and we wanted the 1 way collision but the way we set up the corpse objects made the direction of that one way collision difficult to figure out since it is based on the current direction of the player. Most times you fall facing right, but if you fell facing left you would fall through the corpse. It could have been done but we tried that 4 hours before submit and didn't want to focus on it lol

Thanks for hosting a fun jam! I plan to be back next time!

Awful, but incredible.

Frustrating, but also relaxing

Played for too long, but also not long enough

This is perfection. 7 / -5 stars

Very goofy and fun! Greg's cheeks were jaw dropping with those jiggle physics lmao

Thanks!

That's unfortunate. The corpses can help or hinder. We would have liked more mechanics that involved moving the bodies, but alas game jam scope caught up to us.

Our approach of "bad" was that the underlying mechanics were bad lol but with some more effort we would have liked a mechanic for moving bodies. Thanks for the feedback!

you are a genius

The pink things are just pickups. You have to collect them all to complete the level. Thanks for the feedback!

Awesome idea for a game! Pretty well executed too. Dialogue was funny! I would love to see this mysterious "hero" who is so good he doesn't need to pick up hearts lol

10/10

same

I did have him pronounce stuff but all the sounds were jibberish to me lol maybe if I played a bit longer I would understand his language

I love a first person tower defense! It was a little easy though. Hearing all the turrets going all at once was silly haha

Absolute chaos i love it! This is a refreshing (  (;  ) take on a rhythm-ish game although it was really hard to know what the ingredients were and the second level was so fast I couldn't click on the items quick enough. Still love it though

I was addicted to the script game, really fun! I could not for the life of me beat the second level with the plants. I could not figure out how to get enough points to pay for my troops. Other than that I thought it was fantastic.

This revolver is sick. The ammo types were all really cool and made it fun to play. Loved it overall!

Absolute chaos hahah I love it. I was instantly overwhelmed and confused but I figured it out after playing a few times. I say that, but I got absolutely PIPPED every time I played. A wonderfully bad game, good job! (:

Also, all the drawings were so cute!

Oh no! How long until you found the double jump?

Is evil enough to be bad? lol Thanks for playing!

We pray in the name of jank

Horrible (awesome) game! I think if the upgrades weren't so frequent and there was some background music, this would be an 11/10

I don't really like this style of game, but this was good enough to keep me interested. Interactions with Sundae the dinosaur interactions were funny, also I like the character being gaslit by all these weirdos who are at the speed dating. So I think you nailed the jam lol great (horrible) job! (:

SFX are top notch. Enemy collision was very large but the games are supposed to be bad so I consider this a feature.

I got 56877 misses. take that!

I liked the extra challenge of the no mouse lock lol felt fitting for this jam.

Very silly menu stuff made me laugh. I like seeing the "you lost" and that the quit button just says "this doesn't work"

Good job my guy

Awesome game! The sheer combinations of items is impressive and the fun comes from trying new recipes and seeing what comes out the other end. Well done!

Artwork is really nice! I also really love the kings crown games so I can see where you draw your inspiration and adds more crafting to that style of game.

That is very interesting that Z and Y can be switched in your region. I had no idea! That is an accessibility feature that I will remember from now on, thanks for letting us know!

Very challenging. Levels felt really well thought out!

I still had to see for myself

(1 edit)

Cool game, looks great! The table turning looks sooooo cool! Very hard to beat haha

Simple, silly, and super fun :) 5/5

Title is funny lol and the game is fun too! I like spawning mobs and upgrading. I could easily see more to this game with levels and more survivors to kill and how that would be fun.

Visuals are really cute! Gameplay is a bit slow sometimes but overall pretty fun when it is necessary to move many platforms to keep the lil guy alive.

Thanks! We wanted to have multiple spawn locations and the drag and drop design was more conducive for that. We didn't have the time to make that happen, though.

Adding the feedback on the notes would've been great we just didnt have the time :( we tried to do something different where instead of relying on visuals to tell you when to hit the buttons, you had to really listen and get in rhythm with the song (which admittedly may not be the best approach for a rhythm game lol)
