Game Description
You're lost in the dark with campfires your only friend. What to do next?
How does your game tie into the theme?
This is a dark world, where light is the main giveaway to where you are. Your light level is your health, if it goes down, you're vulnerable and in danger; you have to regenerate your light level to go on

This is gorgeous! I got lost quite a bit but did not really mind because walking around in the world was rewarding on its own.
Yea that was intentional, i feel like things are more creepy if you don’t guide the player at all and let them figure it out
I'm not sure if I understood the game 100%, but I liked the implementation of the mechanics and the connection to the jam theme. 💡
The art is especially charming, animation and audio.
Congrats on the game, it's an exciting entry! 🎉
Thank you for the feedback!
Very cool game. Loved the animation and art. The transitions were really smooth.
Thanks for playing!
Nice adventure game ! Life can fly out really quick, quicker if the ducks are chasing you and you don't have anymore light to throw lol. Fun entry, music is nice too !
A last thing that is really not important : Lifebar deserves to be always on top (it could be hide by the walls)
Yeah we ran out of time to deal wih the little details, thanks for playing!
Really enjoyed this, I had a similar concept with this lightning mechanics here and I have to say this teams implementation is better than the one I made on my own. The art and music are both great, and the music is implemented in a really seamless way!
Thank you for the kind words! I’ll make sure to take a look at your submission!
I found navigating a little confusing, and ended up looping around and getting killed a bunch of times by aggressive ducks! But the atmosphere is fantastic, and you did a great job of using the theme to really make a fun and interesting mechanic. I love the art and music, also -- the vibes are a great mix of unnerving yet strangely tranquil.
Thanks! We were worried of guiding the player too much, since the atmosphere is supposed to be mysterious, we made the choice to let the players figure it out to add to the thrill!
Loved the music and the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the ducks seemed kind of forced into this. Still a great entry!
Thank you! We had other enemies in planning but we kinda ran out of time to implement it all gradually with more levels, with an extra day or 2 we could have implemented more!
Fun game! nice work to you all :)
The Music was great. I had fun playing it.
❤❤❤
Really good first entry! I like the concept and the team did well. Some of the text is masked by darkness, and I don't know if you want that, but an easy way to fix it is to play with which layers the point light affects.
Yeah we did notice that as a problem but at that point it was already too late xd (most of the team was busy on the weekend)
Great entry! There's a lot to like about this game!
It's extremely on theme. The feeling of slowly losing health in the dark until you get to a bonfire adds a lot of tension to the game, especially when you can't find the next one! Also: 2 headed ducks are scary as heck.
The mechanics (throwing light orbs to distract ducks, checkpoints, checkpoints taking your "light" to activate) were all very well thought out and implemented. Having a tutorial level to teach the controls was a very nice touch.
The foreboding music really adds to the atmosphere, as well as the relevant SFX (e.g. sudden quacks out of nowhere, ambient campfire sounds etc).
If there's any thing I'll nitpick, it's that I dont really understand how to interpret the minimap. It's difficult to see where I am on the game map. Perhaps a contrasted Red dot on the minimap, and boundaries around it would help with readability.
Overall, a really solid submission! Well done to the team!
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed :)
Congrats on the launch !
Cool game & Idea, I just had a hard time understanding what the camera was on the top left
Seems to be a common problem, I'll note that down
