really well made remind me of the Mario rabits game a bit, didnt beat it but i got to i think wave 5 or 6, before i lost all my men, good game although i dont know what it had to do with baking though, but great job anyways.
This is pretty impressive for 72 hours, well done. I can definitely see it being refined and expanded upon. For example on the transition between days, I would make it automatically pause like a dialogue window, and allow the player to click a button to continue. Then you can do all sorts of things there like assign randomly obtained gear to specific teammates for instance.
Hey I played it again, this time with music! I don't know if it was there before or not but it adds alot to the atmosphere so good job! I ran into a weird glitch where it's always my turn, also my units would sort of... combine? So like in the image when I click a tile both units move to the same tile, overlap, and attack at the same time. then it just is my turn forever. Eventually the game kicked me back to the title screen.
Great art style, really dug the music, too. I'm a sucker for strategy games, my only problem with this one was that I couldn't really tell how much cover was benefitting me, and also that in a lot of levels it didn't seem to matter where I put my dudes.
However, this is an impressive submission, well done! :)
