Lovely! I liked the yarn mechanic and thought it was impressive for a jam game! Cutest cats ever and the music reminded me so much of animal crossing omg

cuuute. i'm a fan of the little sprites and music and the gameplay feels good. maybe making the rooms smaller would have made it easier to find the key and other objects

ohh the aesthetics were definitely on point, especially the music brought it all together imo.  i feel like one to improve this would be making it easier to predict where a teleporter will take you? so it's still chaotic because the teleporters are randomly spawned inside all that mess and the game will feel more fair, but that's just my opinion. but still, fun!

woah i didnt expect to find anything like this in a jam this short. i really liked the voice acting  and the interpretation of Nyx's appearance!

sometimes things would break, for example i could walk through a wall at some point and the light creatures started to walk on air (or maybe they always could? idk).  good luck for the part 2! i would love to see it

the overall aesthetic (colors, music, sounds and the filter) were all so perfect!!

it started as such a relaxing experience at first but then apparently i was too chaotic for the game and the music started changing and i got a little spooked. considering a lot of indie horror games have this aesthetic i could help associate the 2 LOL.

loved this entry, grats!

There's so much I love about this, from the music to the art to the gameplay to the titleee it's really good congrats ;w;

I love how it was made in PICO8!! I'm sure it wasn't easy. I wish there was another way to survive other than the shield, like some power to temporarily shoo away the kobolds but it's no big deal I'll gladly press CTRL + R when I lose lol

this one feels so polished, nice :o

i wish i were better at the minigames though ahaha

Fun and suprisingly addictive for how simple it is. Nice entry, grats!

groundbreaking

I like the concept, but sometimes the random bouncing of the enemies makes me feel a little too helpless. Maybe giving the rotations some kind of more predictable pattern, but still chaotic looking, or giving the player more tools to protect themselves. Overall though, nice entry!

i dont know what it was about it but i enjoyed moving around lol. i didnt even know you could make games with scratch, impressive :o

this look cool! i like the sprites of the red bats especially. gameplay was simple but enjoyable enough, would have been neat to have the enemies shoot at you or dodge or even have another enemy type, but time is what it is in jams

soo polished and cute, worthy of a non-jam game! it's a nice idea and well executed. I hate to say that because they're the best, but Stanley's movement feels a little bit slow/clunky, but maybe that fits with a (un)dead character. great submission!

fun concept and gameplay! it's a shame the game is a bit laggy for me, especially after a few ghosts spawn, but i can see how that would be hard to optimize without enough time

it has a really unique look, which i think the music matches perfectly. i liked the take on the wave based gameplay, didnt expect to be able to use my weapon like that. very punishing!
it's unfortunate the web version doesn't work though

this is really cool! i think it has a really unique aesthetic. gameplay was engaging enough, could have been a little bit harder or more complex though but that's just my preference. i'm a fan of sir quaver :3

i liked the minimal aesthetic and the concept! i wish it was a little less RNG-based though, it felt good to get positive health but i only managed to do so once

it's sooo charming! i love seeing pico8 submissions "in the wild", aka jams where all engines are allowed.  i liked how hard it is too. at the end though i kind of ignored all the enemies and instead focused on timing my jumps perfectly. it was intense!

loved the sound and graphics, especially the sprite for the summon! it was nice seeing them go from tiny triangle to giant

this was amazing! loved everything about it, but above all the level design. it's so cool that this was made in pico8

the chaotic energy of this game is something else ahah. the music, the sprites, the animations, they're all great! gameplay is fun too, but it did feel a little too hard. maybe increasing the healing from 5 to 10 could help. sometimes i would also get combo'd by the other students and it felt a little unfair.

this was lovely! it was nice exploring with the cute sprites and music. even the scaaary forest ahah.

only issue is that sometimes it's hard to make the interact prompt appear

thanks! the not moving part was kind of a bug, that then turned into a feature, that now is kind of back to being a bug. my reasoning is that the tiny lemming creatures arent attacking you, so just having them touch you won't end your game. game ends because you feel bad about stepping on them ahah

thank you! that's a great resource

You know when you hit a block in a Mario game and a powerup comes out and that block's sprites changes? That's basically what I'm trying to achieve. I need a way to detect the player's collision with the block and to change the sprite.

If anyone has a link to some documentation, a tutorial or can explain a good way to do it, it would be really helpful as I'm pretty new to making games and to godot and I'm feeling  a bit lost  lol
