Your comment reminded me about a talk I attended once about accessibility in gaming industry.  You could actually create a feature in options to switch SFX to original ( for people with hearing ads), and you would have one of not many games on jam that support accessibilities :) ! That would be a thing to share ! :D .

I really like the idea for the game, the art and dialogue content. As a sound designer i've noticed you went for a very harsh clicky sound for pawn movement/strike, which in repetition may cause fatique and tiredness for the listener. Same for dialogue voices when pawn is moved. It works well for the dialogue intro, but I would suggest an iconic sfx for each type of figure that is not dialogue.

Overall really enjoyed your project, please take all comment as a constructive feedback :)

Really enjoyed your project. You can tell you've put massive amount of work into it.  I'm a big fan of the music and delicate wing woosh sound effects.

I had to die 2-3 times to understand the overall mechanic.

I couldn't  close vase on web version.

Congrats on the game ! I  found the keys quite confussing, maybe the ablity to turn around the map would solve the problem for some ?

I like the puzzle idea, got me stuck few times before solving some levels :D !

I found it easy, maybe making level longer could help ? Anyway a really enjoyed it :) !

I really liked the difficulty progression. Visuals and sound are well mixed :)

Great work, really like the arts, it fit the game style soo much ! Really like this entry !

Congrats on winning game jam with your project ! Thank you for trying our game :) !

Hi ! Thank you trying out our project !

Thank you for trying out our project ! We're really glad that you like the sound, we tried to keep it as our main goal to drive the player with sound. Atmosphere was a key. Thank you for the feedback, we thought about the light points to help player with guidance but for the balance we ended up leaving player to the darkness.

We're glad that we transferred that scary emotion to your game play, it means that we achieved what we wanted at the beginning :)

Glad you like the atmosphere, we really wanted to convey that atmosphere is most important for us in this project. Good to hear that you made to the safe point as well ;) !

(1 edit)

Thank you for the strat description, we should include it next time in "cheat sheet description" ;) !

Glad you enjoyed style and the atmosphere :) ! Thanks !

Initially, the game seemed quite challenging, possibly due to the overwhelming interface. However, after a few minutes, I got a bit addicted :D . I feel the idea has potential for a full release version. Keep it up ! :)

We're glad you liked the atmosphere, thanks !

I wish my cat  could do that ...  great game overall :) !

As a person without arachnophobia i found some of the spiders legit scary !  Sometimes found the balance a bit to harsh, but overall it's a great project !

Great job with the different ending, I found the idea quite original :) . I'll try to get all endings :) !

Great project ! Had a blast playing through, i found it well balanced as well. Keep up the good work :) !

Nice tower defense, looking forward for more upgrades !

I was particularly impressed by the original concept of introducing the dynamic of electrostatic energy from the carpet; it fits the setting perfectly.

However, I found the game to be quite challenging in terms of balance. Overall, well done on creating such an engaging experience!

Your game is incredibly enjoyable! I barely made it to the end, which added to the excitement. I appreciate the attention to detail. Great job on creating such a captivating game!

Your game concept is intriguing, focusing on maintaining a happy workforce through relaxation, nourishment, and financial support.
However, my experience was a bit limited—I could only figure out how to blow at things. A tutorial would be nice if you're thinking about expanding the project :).

Your game is a commendable effort! The music sets a great ambiance, and both the art style and animation are impressive.

While the gameplay and movement felt a bit awkward at times, I found them manageable enough to navigate through the challenges. Figuring out the order of tasks to help everyone was a bit confusing, but I managed to reach all three endings in the end. Thanks for sharing your game—I genuinely enjoyed playing it! I really liked the graphics and sounds in your game; they added a lot to the atmosphere!

Your tower defense game was a lot of fun to play! While I wished it lasted a bit longer, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience you provided. Keep up the good work, looking forward to more ideas !

I had a blast playing your game! The upgrade mechanic feel out of balance. Although the graphics and audio are incredibly immersive, pulling me right into the gameplay experience. Great job all around!

The concept of your platformer, where you slow down as you collect items, is really intriguing!

It's reminiscent of the feeling in RPG games when you become encumbered with loot. I think that collectibles and puzzles with speed mechanic adds depth to the gameplay.
I encourage you to keep developing your game! I believe the concept has tremendous potential!

Your game is a real brain overload in the best way possible! I must say, it fits the theme perfectly!

The art style in your game is really appealing! .

I absolutely loved the concept of collecting the colored orbs in the tutorial.

However, I found it a bit frustrating that restarting after dying took quite some time. Especially on the first level after the tutorial where you die in one hit. I was really eager to progress to level 2, but I struggled to master the skills required.
Keep up the good work !

The neon and Tron-inspired style is spot on!

However, I did find myself a bit lost trying to figure out what to do, even after checking the instructions. It was a bit confusing, especially when it came to tasks. I wasn't sure if it happened automatically or where to go for it.

In games as visually striking as yours, there's always a challenge in guiding players through the experience. Adding some visual hints, like arrows after data collection or text explanation in description, could really enhance the gameplay and make it more intuitive.
Keep up the fantastic work!

Glad you like the ambience and atmosphere ! We tried to make it difficult for the player, pressure was the key :D !

I've also enjoyed "overloading your servers " :D

I found it addictive.

As a sound designer i found music well written, simple yet not overwhelming when you're trying to grind millions of points.
Like the them idea of "Server Overload"

Would love to see version with more upgrades, bigger enemy amounts and enemy progression

Thanks for trying out our project, glad you like the atmosphere :).

Thanks for giving the game another go! I understand that the "Jump King" style may not be everyone's cup of tea, but we're grateful for your commendation on the other aspects. Being a small team, your encouragement means a great deal. If you have any specific suggestions for improvement, we'd love to hear them!

I appreciate your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the climbing mechanic and the ending. It means a lot that you liked the overall style of the game, even though the rage game aspect wasn't your favorite. Your input is valuable, and we'll keep it in mind for future projects. Thanks for playing!

Thank you so much for your positive feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game, especially considering the challenging nature of jump-style games. Your appreciation for the art style, music, and sound effects means a lot. I'm thrilled you noticed the details like the purring noise and the cling animation on the lamp shade. Your support motivates us to keep creating!
