An interesting game concept. I found it very challenging to understand what the objective of the game was, but i eventually got an understanding of the game loop. It was hard to pull off even then.

I love the announcer and all the audio though. The artstyle is kinda dinky and endearing. Loved that alot.

Thanks for sharing :)

We hadn't considered having the edges of the screen be bounceable. Certainly a neat way to improve the way the throwing feels. Thanks for your feedback!

This is a pretty interesting game concept. I love the idea of having a bag of upgradable die representative of a guild.

I found the UI to be a little confusing though and the mechanics could have been explained a little better. The game got fun once I started understanding what was happening.

Thanks for the entry!

A cool concept presented with a unique art style. It reminded me of "Reigns" quite a bit.

I found the gameplay to be quite repetitive, as it seemed odds/evens is all I ever rolled on what I assume to be the mini game dice, but that had little skill to it.

I'd definitely like to see what this game looks expanded upon because the foundation in interesting. Thanks a lot for sharing.

This is a great puzzle game that uses dices in a really clever way. Enjoyed playing it. Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot for your feedback!

An amazing game. It was really frustrating to play at the beginning as I kept jumping right into the water, but I loved the concept so much I wanted to see it through to the carrot. Once I realized that I could bump into objects, it really started to come together.  Also made getting the carrot feel very satisfying.

I only have QoL suggestions to make, such as having the game space be more readable at a glance so the player is able to react to their roll quicker. This could be accomplished by having a semi-visible grid.

Nonetheless, this is an incredible game. Thanks so much for sharing!

No, there is no benefit to shaking the die before you throw it, but it's definitely something for us to consider if we were looking to build on this concept. We've added screenshots now, so thanks for bringing that to our attention!

Thanks for playing, and thank you for your review.

A fun introduction of a d20 to the game of golf. I really enjoyed the level design, though I will say it was challenging to sink the dice into the hole at closer ranges.

Still, I enjoyed myself. Thanks for sharing

This is an awesome game! The depth in it with multiple characters, variety of different weapons, and room types make it feel like a real roguelike. As others have pointed out, the art is really great as well.

The only suggestions I'd have to make would be QoL ones such as your player character having some indication of when they gets hit. It was also kind of tough to figure out what I was doing, as I couldn't find any controls written anywhere, but the fortunately were intuitive enough with a little fiddling around.

Regardless, it is a very impressive entry! Thanks for sharing. I had a blast playing it.

A very fun game. I liked the tower variety available with the dice, and it felt satisfying to use them strategically to stun the enemies.

The audio was also quite satisfying to play along with.

Thanks for sharing!

Definitely an interesting concept for a game. I really like the core idea here of "rolling" for the amount of ammo in your clip.

That being said, what you can do with the ammo felt a little lack luster. It felt quite difficult to kill a single enemy, even on a "high roll" of 6 in the clip. I think the gunplay could have felt better if you made the bullets do more damage, or have some meaty knockback to them to fend off the incoming waves of enemies.

It's certainly a solid foundation and a neat entry. Thanks for sharing :)

An absolutely amazing puzzle game that makes you think about the state of your dice and how it interacts with the level.

My only gripe with it is the controls aren't very satisfying and sometimes Mr. Dice gets stuck on certain walls.

I'd love to see this concept get built upon. Great work!

Definitely an interesting concept here of having to extend your weapon level by level till it's long enough to slay the "Man Across River". It felt like a puzzle game at times, though I think I was fighting a little too much with glitching through walls for it to ever feel like "Aha! I found the solution"

I also think some more direction would be nice, as the first time I went back to the river, I didn't realize that the same section on the right would lead me elsewhere.

Nice entry

A clean art style that fits this kind of game. I wish I had a friend to play with to properly experience what it would be like at it's best.

Neat concept, well executed.

Very clean puzzle game. Simple concept that's well executed with great level design. The art is cute, and the sound compliments it.

Well done!

Interesting and fun game idea. I wish I had a friend to try to play against as I'm sure that would have been more challenging than the COM. Nice game!

This is a simple concept that you've executed extremely well. There's lot of great levels here with challenging puzzles and the sound and visuals are all excellent. Incredible work

Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you very much for your feedback! Unfortunately we didn't get the controls to the state we ultimately wanted it, but we were pretty happy with our final result. We may come back to it in the future to improve it in the ways you'd suggested.

Thanks for playing our game! It was cool to watch your live reaction!

Thank you!!
Edit: Yes it was HP Lovecraft inspired!

Thank you for the feedback :)

Thank you! Appreciate the feedback.

Thanks, we appreciate the feedback - audio isn't our strong suit and we definitely need to work on it

Thank you for the feedback :)

:(

Yeah, this is definitely something we can work on - thank you for the feedback!

An excellent game. It had a steady ramp up so you could understand the mechanics, and the final puzzle was satisfying to solve. The art and the music were both fantastic too!

Well done!

This was really fun to play with a simple concept. I enjoyed the mechanics of the stage shifting, and I had to keep myself on my toes. I found the movement a little weird at times, but I think that was a result of the pushback from the cannon being hard to predict (depending on the angle your player character is pointed). Still very fun to play, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

A really unique game! I thoroughly enjoyed the simple premise, and it was really fun to be waiting and watching for the wolf to show up. The art assets and sounds were cute and fitting for what you had going.

Really well done!

Thank you!!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! This is our first jam and we tried to keep it dead(haha)-simple.

Thanks for the feedback!

Fun game! The art and audio assets are top notch - I'm surprised there was so much content and polish given the amount of time in the jam, nice work. I liked the level design and felt they introduced concepts like tnt and mirrors really well. I felt that the mirror asset could look more "mirror-y" as I wasn't sure what it was until I shot a laser at it.

Overall, great puzzle game with interesting mechanics - awesome!

Great game! I liked the speed of the game which fits the jam theme well. With a bit more polish, the art assets could really stand out and make the game feel even better!

A focused game with clean aesthetic and clear concept that fits the jam theme! I loved how the audio and sound effect choice enhances the core gameplay. I didn't make it super far, but I felt that the enemy hitboxes could be a bit bigger. When the fire rate is high, it is quite satisfying to mow enemies down as the screen fills with enemies. But when the fire rate is low, the small hitboxes are a bit unforgiving if not paying attention to your shots.

Overall, great execution and presentation of the core jam theme and gameplay concept!

Refined game, it feels incredibly polished - kudos! The amazing sound design and art assets lend themselves to a tight, focused gameplay loop that fits the jam theme. The first level took me the longest to complete (I made it ~7 levels in), the wall destroy mechanic could be a bit clearer! Had one bug where the ball got stuck in a wall but there was a menu option to reset the ball, awesome!
Overall, very impressed with the level design and gameplay. Keep killing it! (PS. the name is awesome)

Ah we didn't even consider a mini map. Would have certainly helped you figure out where enemies were spawned to help you keep up your combo. Thanks for the feedback!
