Thank you for your kind words, they really mean a lot! I hope you have an amazing new year as well!

Very sweet and whimsical interactive experience! Excellent presented too with the art and music, you create a vivid image of a magical little world that feels so warm and cozy in such a short amount of time. Great work!

Thanks for playing!

What a lovely little rhythm game. Beautiful presentation and beautiful music, love the write up providing the historical context for the Chinese folk tale. Great work by everyone involved!

Thank you for the kind words!

Yes, GB Studio is for making Game Boy games! It's really cool and I've been using it for a while to learn game development stuff and it's fun working within the limitations. I think you can download right here on itch!

I did want to add a little more flavor and text depending on the outcome of the coin flip/alternate endings based on the wells chosen and flips result, but couldn't quite get it to come together how I wanted to in time, so I left it to the imagination in the end lol!

Thank you, I appreciate it!

It's really tricky lining everything up just right, but I love the idea and had fun playing it! I like the little delay between the result of the flip and the action, giving you just enough time to begin planning your movement out. Great work!

Had no idea it could even do that! Thanks for playing and teaching me something lol!

Thank you for playing!

I really liked this one. The atmosphere and story built around the straight forward interpretation of the coin flips to determine the endings are engaging and pull you into this small little world and the quick nature of the playthroughs make going for the different endings really entertaining. Great work!

Thanks for checking it out!

I like the use of coins as a resource and the concept behind managing the different coins in combat. There's solid potential there for some strategic depth!

This is a really cool take on the limitation. I love the wallet-building aspect from a flavorful and mechanical standpoint. Great music and art as well, awesome job to everyone involved!

Great game! The use of the coin to add different bonuses is a nice touch and the overall presentation was great, reminded of playing old flash games in the mid 2000s in the best way!

A simple idea with excellent execution. Nice quality of life features with the reset and rewind, the graphics do exactly what they need to do and I like the green and brown background look nice with the coin, and the little shiny animation is a great little flourish. Amazing job!

I wasn't able to make heads or tails of it (ha), but I like the concept and running around chasing stuff. I couldn't get the youtube tutorial to come up, but I think it's cool that you made one for it!

Thanks for playing and saluting the sun!

Thanks for checking it out and providing controls when I forgot to! I appreciate it!

Thanks, I appreciate you checking it out anyways!

I made a post of above with the controls, sorry for the trouble! Thanks for trying!

I made a post above including the controls I forgot to add, thanks for checking it out anyways!

Sorry my mush brain forgot to add in controls! I use the arrow keys for movement and press z to interact with stuff and that's pretty much all you need. Edit: also if mobile is an option for you it should run in a mobile browser with game boy-like touch screen buttons.

Sorry, completely slipped my mind to add controls in the description. I use the arrow keys to move and Z to click the wells and the coins. Thank you for checking out anyways though!

Cool idea! I like the use of the coin flip as a passive mechanic that provides another layer to the classic memory game style.

Spooky game! I liked the creepy design of the fox quite a bit and the straightforward implementation of the coin flip adds some good atmospheric tension. Nice work!

Cool concept! I like the idea of exploring counterfeit coins and the added layer of decision making while still maintaining the randomness.

Really cool and clever idea with excellent presentation. I couldn't quite figure out what to do, but I think the concept could be developed further into something great. Great work!

Nice, clean looking sprites and animation and a nice little background track. Nice work!

Coin Clicker! Love the art and aesthetic, the coins stacking up and being removed is fun, I like the idea of manipulating the rotation to increase consistency. Great work!

Beautiful art and game flow. The attention to detail with the sound effects and how fluidly the cards move around really help sell the gameplay, Some increased difficulty might have helped show off  some of the strategic nuances a bit more, but still a real fun concept. Amazing work!

Wow, I love this! I was thinking coin flipping balatro before I even read  that in the description. I love the subtle depth of the decision making behind balancing the points between heads and tails and the shop selections. The art is adorable too and the choice of colors is great. I'd love to play a fleshed out version of this, but I still had fun with it as is. Amazing work!

Neat idea going with a word searching type game. Nice work!

Simple, fun gameplay loop. Nice game!

Fun little thing. Liked trying to get the coin in on a bounce, but wasn't able to.

That beat for reelin in the fish kinda slaps

Interesting concept and some nice sprite work!

Good fun puzzle design and a great visual/audio aesthetic. Awesome work!

Might have to add hyper-real simulation to the tags list :) Good work!

Those are some nice graphics ;)
