Scored 6996. Really good game, not gonna lie! Engaging music and pleasant visuals. Limitation is used well, too.

However, as some people mentioned, the gameplay is too quick for me to process the game well, so sometimes I just avoid a power-up because I'm that confused. And in theory, the multiple obstacles and enemies sound very unique, but in practice, there's shooters and rocks.

Still, great work!

Developer

Thank you! I'll probably make a patch to add more enemies and obstacles(and fix the gameplay issues) as soon as I can, but I've been really busy lately. Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Very good looking visuals !! The gameplay is a bit confusing, but overall nice game, congrats and keep going !

Downwell is dat you? joking! is nice and funny

Developer

Thanks! Didn't really think of it in the development, but it really looks like downwell lol

I like the concept and the way the limitation is used, but the game is just too fast for me to process what's happening or to really appreciate anything about it.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I didn't have much time to balance some things, and I'll make a "fixed" version that fixes this and more things. Thanks for the feedback!

It was fun to smash rocks. I wish I could see more down with my slow reaction=)

Developer

Thanks! No, it was not your fault, other people said that the player was too further down on the screen. Thanks for playing anyways!

It was very satisfying getting multiple power ups in  a row and smashing through objects. I did find myself wanting some vertical movement for dodging things but overall good job!

Thanks for playing!  I wanted to implement a dashing mechanic, but I didn't have time. I'll probably come back to this game to make it. Thanks for the feedback!

The graphics and music gives the game a really polished feel! However, I think the game would be more readable if the player character was further up on the camera - so you could more easily see threats beforehand.

Developer

Thank you! You're completely right. I put the player further down on the screen because I didn't have time to adjust the position of the big stone monster(I had to stop early, and every time the player was getting hit, there was no way he could recover and it would die to the monster), so I just put the player further down on the screen. I'm going to make a fixed version of the game to fix this and other things. Thanks for the feedback!

I really like the art and the gameplay was fun. With some more time I think this game could be really good :)

Developer

Thanks! I completely agree. I could've made a better game with more time, but I lost an entire day of the jam, so I had to do things really fast. Thanks for playing!

Good concept and outstanding graphics. Also the SFX are very good.

Unfortunately everything happens too fast at least for me (Skill issue i guess) and even if I manage to identify the dangers, dodging them is more a matter of luck than skill.

Pretty good overall, I'm sure even better if it's played by someone who isn't a klutz like me.

Good job 👍

Developer(+1)

Thanks! No, It isn't only you. Other people also said the game is too difficult. I tried to show where the obstacles are going with the warning(it appears at the bottom of the screen), but it's still too difficult. I'll make a fixed version of the game as soon as I can! Thanks for playing!

The gameplay is alright, but it’s very hard to tell what’s happening, and I found myself losing almost immediatelly after starting an attempt. Graphics are pretty clean and the music fits them very well. Pretty nice

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'm sorry to hear that. I didn't have much time to adjust difficulty and stuff like that(I lost an entire day of the jam), but I'll probably make a fixed version of the game. I recommend trying to get power ups, they make things a lot easier! Thanks for the feedback!

Nice idea and sprite work! Had a few games where I just spawned in a rock and lost instantly and I couldn't get the parry mechanic to work for me, but I think the concept is fun!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! The parry mechanic is kinda hard to understand. I'd recommend just spamming space when there's an enemy or projectile on the screen.  Also, now that I know the invincibility period at the start is not enough, I'll make it longer. Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Fun art and gameplay, but i didn't understand how kill or parry, i pressed space, but nothing happened

Developer(+1)

Thanks! It's kinda hard to understand(I didn't have time to polish it), but once you manage to understand it, you can do it pretty consistently. I'd recommend just spamming space when a projectile or an enemy is on the screen. Thanks again for playing and for the feedback!

Fun gameplay, I think it would play better on a vertical screen.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I had some issues with the resolution, so I just left it that way(didn't have time left to fix some things), but you're completely right. I'm probably going to change it. Thanks for the feedback!
