Game's Take on the Theme
The setting itself revolves around the concept of spinning. The player has to spin to attack enemies. The enemies spin as well.

This is a really good game!
the 90s manga/anime atmosphere is nice, even with the fat character with the mustache and the hat pulled down over his eyes.
music and sfx at high levels, beautiful VFX. The retro-pixel graphics are beautiful in all their parts, although I would have preferred a greater homogeneity of pixels in the dialogue scenes between the central portion and the side portraits. nice font!
difficult but well-calibrated playability (a little more speed in the WASD movement of the spacecraft would have made my life easier).
you could make a larger version, perhaps putting side-scrolling parts outside the ship
Loved the game's logo! The interface made for the dialogues is pretty good. Awesome job!
The art was incredible, especially in the dialogue scenes. The game is hard to beat, but not impossible (or maybe I'm bad playing).
I was bopping my head the whole time, the music is absolutely fantastic, especially in the opening. The controls are simple but being slow and having to use the dash/spin mechanic to move around and attack feels great. I really like this game, great job!
That’s insane!
Beautiful art, good sounds, I really liked it, very fun and responsive
So if you can, consider checking out my little game too 👉 👈
The game is amazing. The art, music, sfx and I love the simple combat. Would've loved to skip the cutscenes tho. Also I think my game crashed when I clicked on reload. I was using safari as the game wouldn't load on firefox. Anyway great job.
Amazing! The characters are engaging and the cutscenes are interesting. I want to play the complete version.
Good music and story and the only thing that I would wish for this one to be able to move character faster around the enemy.
My team member recommended I check this one out and he was absolutely right. This game is amazing! I love how simple it is too. Just point and click, and move around. But it's crazy to me how well you guys were able to make such a simple mechanic so interesting. I could replay this game multiple times and still enjoy it.
The soundtrack was perfect too. The epic guitar and electronic synths perfectly fit the vibe of this game's aesthetic as well. I also loved the boss design.
The only criticisms I have are:
-Button to reveal full dialogue for people who want to read through quicker, but not skip it entirely.
-Spamming the attack on the boss at the end and face-tanking made the final boss fight end before they even had a chance to start attacking me between their phases. I'd spam hit them right when they opened their mouth and they'd change phases again before even having a chance to do some real damage to me.
-Also I love the fast pace of this game, but for some reason there's a several second wait for the pre-fight dialogue to appear on the blank computer-looking screens. Which really doesn't sound like much, but having that fast loading time would've made a big difference. At least for me personally.
Again, fantastic game! Easily one of my favs this jam.
Great entry! The game is very polished, and has a great take on the theme. Love the music and art--you've captured a vibe perfectly, and I love it. I'm not a big fan of action games, but I really enjoyed playing this.
Some quick feedback--movement feels very sluggish, and it doesn't mesh well with the fast-paced music. It wouldn't need a huge change--just a little more speed and responsiveness, and it would feel like a much higher-energy game.
Being able to speed up dialogue would be nice. I ended up skipping the cut scenes because they were taking too long to display, and the unskippable dialogue at the beginning of fights made retrying them a little tedious.
On the second boss, the crosshairs should stop moving once the boss has locked in on its target--it's too hard to tell if you're out of the danger zone.
Overall, though, this is a fantastic game, and all the more impressive for being made in a month. Amazing work!
I really liked this game! Well done with art and sounds and the simple game play, its incredible!

love the art and story and music and the gameplay concept was really fun!, but they were a couple mixels, overall great game
This game deserve lot more light on it ! It was very cool experience, felt like a real game, not a boss rush !! Awesome work guys, I loved it !
Smooth and pretty. Enjoyed it.
Please rate my duck game.
This game is awesome and deserves more attention. The art is amazing, the sound design is on point, and the gameplay is super fun. It’s a really good and complete gameb! If I had to give some feedback, I’d say the final boss could be a bit harder. The game itself isn’t too difficult, and that’s totally fine, it’s a lot of fun as it is. But the final boss felt easier than the others, which was a little disappointing since it looks so cool and intimidating with its huge size. Still, it’s an awesome game, great submission!
So beautiful! I loved everything about how your game is made, all the harmony with the styles, I had so much fun playing it! Congratulations on this incredible game!
I loved the anime/mega man vibe it had, I loved the art!
The story is great and made me want to finish the game from the first moment.
I think the scenes and the music are what I enjoyed the most. The gameplay was the culmination of the fight for humanity!
I would like to see more of this game in the future! :D
A genuine 5 stars all across the board, I cannot express just how much I adored playing this game from start to finish. The aesthetic was perfect, the narrative was immediately gripping, the combat felt so clean, the difficulty was just right where it wasn't too easy but it wasn't too difficult to get discouraging. Learning the boss patterns felt so gratifying, and on my winning attempts for all 3 fights I was able to win without taking any damage because of how well the bosses were designed. My own single critique is that I would've appreciated the ability to skip the intros to fights just to get back in the groove quicker, but that's a very minor thing in an otherwise flawless entry. Can't sing this game's praises enough
I'm thrilled that you managed to develop the lore and story dialogues while visualizing them so stylishly! I love the design, direction, and especially the music. The core idea is great, and its execution is top-notch!
One improvement could be adding temporary invincibility after taking damage (to prevent dying from a single wave of projectiles) and slightly refining movement by adding small dashes—often, I found myself unable to slip between attacks.
But overall, this is an excellent game, especially for a jam! Great job!
