Had fun playing this! The music and sfx are very good. One critique would be to up the difficulty by adding more variety to the enemies as well as upping the difficulty a bit. Great entry!

Thanks for playing! I agree it is very incomplete and needs some kind of goal . I appreciate the feedback!

Great entry! Music, sfx, and art are on point. A couple of critiques I would say are that the enemy spawn rate can be a bit much at times and also the hit boxes seem a bit off in some way. Good job!

Thanks for the feedback Braydee, I appreciate you giving it a play!

Great art,  sfx , and music! Clicker games are not my favorites but you made a fun one here. Great execution of the theme! Well done.

Difficult but a fun play! I agree with some of the other comments I read that are saying the gadget switching could be a bit faster. I also would say that the climbing gadget was a bit difficult to activate when jumping from one climbing wall to another. Great entry!

Funny little game, it took me a second to realize it had finished!

I think this has a good bit of potential, it just didn't run great on my pc. I really like the art, especially the golems! I experienced a bug when I tried to play again after I died. It started me in what seemed like level 2 but said level 1. also when I did reach the portal on this second time playing I just passed through it and didn't progress to the next level. Good entry!

Love the concept. Also the art, music, and sfx are great! If I had to give a critique, and as I see ochers have already pointed out, the drawing mechanic has room for improvement. Great entry!

Thank you for playing! I agree, a better points/award system would be beneficial to the game.

Thanks for playing! These are very valid critiques, I appreciate it!

Thanks for playing! you are not the only person who was lost at first. I definitely needed to make a tutorial

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you had fun!

Thanks for playing and the kind words :) I completely agree, it 100% needs a tutorial!

This was fun! I feel like it has a lot of potential. The difficulty was a bit low but I feel it could be upped as long as a better tutorial was made first. Also your straight forward art style works well with this kind of game, and I think with the addition of some simple animations, maybe some particle effects, the feel of your game could be even better. Great job!

I think my struggle with the rhythm portion of the game might be due to not getting good feed back on when I am making a good hit

The art music and sfx are great! it's a bit repetitive once you figure out the game loop but all in al a great entry! Rock on!

I totally agree with your critiques and plan to implement them as I am going to develop this further after the jam! Thanks for playing!

Very cool concept but the it is very unforgiving. Also once I trashed my steel I never got a new piece to use. This is a very original take on the theme!

Fun little puzzle game. If you had some kind of representation of the items being forged it would have gone a long way towards the theme

A fun and charming game with lots of laughs from start to dead!

Great effort and I like the idea behind the game! I would say though that I am slightly lost on the goal of the game? Also a bit unforgiving during the battle sequence not being able to move.

Great submission! Love to idea behind this and you executed it well. Also Criminal Canvas is a great name!

Interesting mix of turn-based and rhythm mechanics. Does attacking different parts of the enemies' body deal different levels of damage? Also the rhythm mechanic is unforgiving. Normally I'm decent at rhythm games but I majorly struggled with this. Solid submission!

This is a very cozy forging simulator! I could see this mechanic being added into a larger project. Great job!

I really like the concept of an alien forge! Health drops in later rounds might be an idea for an addition. Good job!

Love the graphics, and sound design! Lags a bit on my PC when dashing but no complaints other then that

I reached the real treasure at last! Fun and funny little game!

Great entry! Super challenging. Art and music are wonderful! One thought on the gameplay loop would be an option to cancel out of the mini game and move on to other tasks when you run out of time on the item you are making, but having said that this was one of the aspects that made it such a challenging game. Great job!

Thanks for playing! Adding the points to the crafting screen is a good idea, but if I had made the goal to build the automaton like you set for yourself that would have been even better!

Thank you! Yeah I think if I had made the goal to build the automaton like another player suggested it would have gave the players more purpose

Fun and has a lot of potential if you take it further! One critique would be that this feels more like a mechanic for a larger game then a game in it self

I really feel like the forging mechanic has a lot of potential! It was  disappointing that you lose your old sword when you craft a new one though. Great start to a fun game!

Good entry, I like the death sound effect! I like the concept but I feel more could have been done towards the theme. Maybe needing to collect material drops from enemies in order to forge particular items? but that's just a thought. Also the combat feels off, as in you don't get good feedback when you make contact with an enemy or when they hit you. All in all an good submission

Solid submission! Art and music give it an old school feel that I like! using that box to grab the ore and then setting it back down is the most difficult part of the game loop for me

Fun entry, love the art and sound design! My only critique is that the mini games are a bit clunky and not as fun as the rest of the game loop.

Thanks for playing! I particularly like how the smoke particle system turned out. I had another one  for when you collect the ore but it for some reason doesn't show up when I export for the web. I plan to keep working on this game after the jam so I'll definitely keep the forge navigation idea in mind.

I got 182/300! This was a lot of fun! One of my favorites in the jam so far, great job.

Forge a key by forging a key, very nice double use of the theme! Also the gameplay feels good and the art is great!
