Good gods, this game was a terrifying gem.

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, that's fair. None of the onboarding I wanted to do made it in time. I vastly underestimated how long the "finishing touches" were going to take haha

Thanks for playing!

Thanks! I worked for a couple hours every night once the wife and kids were asleep.

Yeah, it's definitely nothing unique, but as long as folks enjoy themselves!

Thanks for playing!  Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing!

The building system was a bit rushed, all I thought was "(B)uild" and set it to B

Well thank you! It's my first time using my exclusively own art in a jam, so I picked black and white to keep things simple for me

A lovely little game, but way harder than the art style suggests. A good thing though, I actually had two playthroughs, but could only get to ~250 hours because I couldn't remember the recipes for the big offerings. Total skill issue on my end.

Great work!

Congrats on finishing! A fun little game, but I worked out you could just spam your cannons on both sides, it might have been better if there was a cooldown, or another reason not to spam cannons.

But still, well done!

Totally fair! I suppose that's the trouble with jams, you have to prioritise.

I hope I didn't come off as too harsh!

Quite the fun little game! I thought it was bugged until I worked out you need to drag on the emote, not the character. Actually stressful once all the customers start coming in. And I loved the mini-cutscene when the shop opens, I can feel the effort that went into this!

Fantastic, love the idea. It was good dumb fun just spamming the bolt on all the buildings and villagers!

Good job on finishing!

Like others have mentioned, next time you tackle a platformer, look into coyote time, as I missed quite a few jumps by pressing space a fraction too late. Platformer toolkit by GMTK's Mark Brown goes into this stuff in detail, check it out!

I would also work on the camera next time. I dunno if it was just my screen, but I couldn't see the ground almost every time I jumped. You could fix this by lowering the camera overall slightly, and having a "Y band" where the camera's Y position doesn't move if the character is inside it, just so the camera doesn't move on regular jumps.

But still, great work and I hope you keep making games!

Yeah, it's very much a "mouse recommended" game.

Thanks for playing!

Great game, love the art!

Absolutely fantastic art!

My only nitpick is that this got a bit too hard too quick, but I felt like a genius the first few levels!

Great game!

Cute little game, if a bit simple, but I can definitely feel the effort that went into this!

I am in full agreement with your end screen!

Fun little game! I like the random bonus effects, I just wish I could see the arrows as well as the characters.

Cute little game! I agree with the other commenters, it's a bit slow to get going, but I like all of the odd jobs you need to do to run the casino. I did struggle a bit with the camera too.

Looks and sounds fantastic! Unfortunately I didn't really understand what was going on. A very basic tutorial could go a long way.

Simple and fun, I won really quickly the first time, and I kept replaying to see what could happen.
Did spend forever trying to restart though.

Thanks for playing!
It's not much, but I've now added controls to the description.

Nice little puzzle mechanic!

This one had me scratching my head! For 4 hours this is really impressive, and such a simple idea led to a lot of deep puzzles.

I agree, if we work on this further after the jam, that's something I want to improve. Maybe I should have more explicitly told players to swing at the first block. Thanks for the feedback!

This is a tricky one! I see we went for similar basic ideas, but ended up with very different games. I really like the polish, especially the audio. Well done!

I loved this. I'm amazed you got this done within 48 hours. If you are considering continuing work on this, I'd say do it!

I like it, the chaotic nature of just drawing over everything was pretty fun. I had some issues with clicking on the doodle paper though, it seemed to drop it when I didn't intend to. But, bugs happen! Well done!

First, the level of polish in this game is fantastic. It creates a really engrossing atmosphere. I just wish there was a bit more game here. Keep working on this!

This is actually kinda fun once you get the hang of it. I think having a quick tutorial with simple waves forms to start would go a long way for on-boarding.

Quite a fun little game! You can get into trouble with controlling both the pillars, but I reckon that just needs practice. Well done!

(1 edit)

Great idea, having the "stabilise" missions was good. I think it could do with a bit of colour though, especially since it's so quick.

This is great. Great art, music, and a fantastic idea. Quite a brain bender too. Well done!

A cute little game! It could do with a little more polish, some sound etc. But the puzzles were fun, great work!

Thanks for your comment! I was aiming for rage, glad to hear it works.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!

This game is promising, but I found it a bit too punishing and quickly paced. These games are up my alley, so if it were a bit slower, even just at the start, I reckon I could get absorbed in this. But still, great work!

This is a great little brain teaser, fantastically polished. I can say is well done!
