Hey... I remember you! Killin' it as usual. None pseudo melancholic peaces or anything. Trakcks are straight to the point and I love it. Also none of like underwater themes or anything which is refreshing.
People are right,.It really gives Silent Hill vibes, and mixed with Industrial drums... Remainds me of Terraria a bit. One of the easiest entries I got thru, you know how to create identity to your work. Easly one of Top 20 on this Jam :3
The fact that I effortlessly went thru entier 8 minute song is a surprise for me. You're great at making people listen to your creations :>
Second track gives me a lot of Empire Ants by Gorillaz vibes. Maybe not by the sound strictly but by the build up and climax. I think it's refreshing to be hearing all these thoughts of anxiety not by agresive mumbling but by actual instruments. At least to me refreshing.
It's actually pretty dark. Like, you were your entier life in that bubble, knowing you should leave it for your own good becouse loneliless won't disapear and eventually will get you killed, but when you left that bubble, it turned out that you should stay in there. You were right, your thoughts were right. Now you can only regret your actions, knowing that your anxiety was telling you the truth this time.
I think some artist struggle with tendency to be or thier work to be "Pseudo-Artistic". Like thier pieces are just beautiful orchiestral symphonis, but you just have feeling that you need to like it. It's like, you need to love this becouse it's beautiful, not becouse you like it. You have feeling like you need to like it. Or maybe this rock song which everyone love but you think it's mid becouse it's just boring love ballad. But when you're artist, you start to think. Am I Pseudo-Artistic? What If I also do not interesting work? Who exacly can objectivly say that my work is good or bad or Pseudo Artistic or Artistic? I think that would be a cool motive in an actual game of yours. Just my small digression. One of the best covers I saw to be honest ^^
FENOMENAL WORK. This is my favorite entry so far. Very autumn vibes. It remainds me of one of my childhood games, Chronicles of Nyania . It's also about cats in a fantasy world, but it's a shame that they used basic RPG Maker music. This would fit purrfectlly to this game. No complains, just love Fav Track : Groovin' with the Alley Cats
As your second project it's actually pretty cute. I think the fact that you're still learning made this OST pretty much avangarde, which is not bad. Well, mixing is a bit messy, but hey I started with practicly no mixing heh, you'll get that soon. I really like those kinda j-pop guitars in Uoyetahi. If you'll work on it a bit, it actually sounds like Omori! But at the same time I think sections with these like sudden bursts of anger need to have a bit more structure. You can just like punch your midi or keyboard to have chaotic sections, but they need a bit more structure. I personally do this sorts of sections in a like of for example Caravan Palace, thier songs have those a bit chaotic eclectic sound to them. Also Druck is actually epic. Even tho quality is a bit messy, one day maybe you will become Bo En or will work on a Fangame ^^ I'll be waiting for a remaster
Tbh I would like it to happen ^^ It's actually on my list of games that I want to make but it's pretty big. I really want to put a lot of effort to these games but as you can see my past games are not very well made. One day, visual novels are pretty nice to make but the most difficult parts would be writing story and putting it together, and I overthink this part A LOT. Also my gramar. I need to learn both Polish and English more hihi
It's pretty nice. I think concept of a game is pretty simpe and basic but can be of course good if execution would be great. My favorite trakc is Mommy's A Lair. It gives me a diffrent vibe from the rest of OST which is intended I see, but also I think concept is better than actual song. I would give it a little bit more spark, a kick like you need to feel this realisation of that girl, it need to be extreme. More agresive, but I like that small detals like beeping at the end and intro made of bass. I also like the sort of cliffhanger at the end :>
I love your interpretation :) Thanks man!
Oh and I've wanted God's Home to be mystic, friendly but at the same time anxious in some way. I have an Atheist friend and we jokes about that she's afraid of our church and that was my inspiration for this track. And I must say... putting Kiss For Goodbye and Worms In My Body next to each other wasn't intentional.
It's sounds like pile of meat having mental breakdown, and that pile of meat is me. Listening to every boss theme I can imagine how they look, how they attacks, and how fighting them is TOUGH AS HELL. Good Mixing, Good filtred Breaks, Cool Intruments and Melodies. Fav track Cruel Angel, and listening to Small Break after all this Chaos is... ye... A break
Wow my music actually can make people cry...
I'm RAD that you had the vibes that I've wanted to include in each track :D And yes, In some point it's inspired by OFF OST. I think that God's Home is my closest recreation of Conrad Coldwood's Music. And I've made Kiss For Goodbye after I listened to Deperately Safe
Love you man ;*
