Description
My entry for this ost jam #7!

It's an OST for a run-and-gun game with dead fish ghosts and a little Japanese girl. The story goes like this:

An old sushi master is always at work in his kitchen. His niece, a little girl named Kiruchi, lives with him and his wife, grandma Masa.

One day, Kiruchi and her grandpa return from their daily visit to the fish market and find a group of human-sized walking fish carrying away her grandma's soul. Her still body lies on the kitchen floor. A message from the Dead Fish King challenges her grandpa, the chef, to come down to the fishes' graveyard if he wants to see his wife ever again. The sushi master is too old and weak, though, so it's Kiruchi's duty to go save her grandma herself.

Your beats go so hard, fantastic electronic tracks! Nice job :)

Crazy fun story setting for a crazy run and gun game! ^^

The fast paced and cool rythm pattern works really well for that kind of game!

Haha Long Corridors had me freaking out ! Creepy minimalist introduction to a boss, super cool mood !

I really liked the texture of those arpeggios synths in King Tuna, great name btw ^^

Oh Dear gave me a nice break, very cool work on the sound.

Meet Your Maker is super fun!! Fitting perfectly your game idea with that whacky tone, greeat :)

there is a good mix of getting funky and strangely ambient songs in the soundtrack, I love the bass in "Meet Your Maker" and how funky of final boss that is. the percussions in "long corridors" do not need to go as hard as it is but I'm glad it happened, you cooked and you delivered

You cooked a tasty soup! Aphex Twin vibes.

Overall sound and mix is top notch, and "Long Corridors" is one of the most unique tracks I have ever heard. Well done!

Okay, the percussions and grooves here are super creative. I find "long corridors" very interesting. Production is crisp as well. A unique experience overall!

I love how this OST explores many different sides of electronic music - Breakcore, Lofi, Sampling and so much more.

I think my favorite track is Oh Dear with it's all-consuming melancholy. I could listen to it all day. I also really enjoyed King Tuna's massive shimmering synths, it really fits the name and setting.

The idea on Long Corridors is really cool and pretty original, and I think you developed it well (even if personally not my cup of tea).

The production is fantastic (and inspiring : one of the things Iv'e been wanting to improve at making for a while now is this really electronic music, and this ost is great place for mew to learn from imo), and the composition is really solid! This is a fantastic submission.

(Also, I could be wrong, but there's some weird and cool stuff going on in Meet Your Maker meter-wise!)

Dead Fish Parade - cute in the beginning, then breakcore? Cool.

The Graveyard Entrance - that breakcore mixed with calm music..... Love it!

Long Corridors-- God. this track. Groovy!

King Tuna - there's this synthesizer parodying either bubbles or radar.... I love the way it echoes.

Oh Dear - sad...

Meet Your Maker - ...and then dynamic! This Acid is a very pleasant surprise. (This is the track I danced to. Heh)

Very unique soundtrack with good creativity. I love your story! Thank you so much!!!

I enjoyed this submission. When you said run-and-gun, I started to think Hotline Miami OST (a big inspiration for myself, so it might just be that). I like the various EDM influences, although I feel like some of the tracks take a little bit to warm up. Overall, great work :)

good job overall. I think I got a bit tuned out near the end which I apologize for I just think they got a bit samey. They were still all really goo though and unique compared to other entries!

The third track long corridor had super creative sound-effect voices in it, really enjoyed this OST submission overall.

Great job! I especially liked the otherworldly atmosphere of "King Tuna" - I can imagine his scary hollow eyes and how he delivers the message to grandpa :D.
